Horrible and rude customer service.
I rang on wed morning the 3rd of July to get info on what a service involved he was reluctant to tell me what was involved he said do you want me to go through the list, it will take me half an hour with an attitude. Told me that I have rang at the most busiest time of day (like I were meant to know that). Told me I was the one who rang up for an argument ?? When clearly he did not want to answer my questions he was rude No customer service I don't even want to take my car there now. I am ringing Nissan australia in to make a formal complaint . It's not good enough.

Rude and dishonest sales staff
I have found that the sales staff at this dealership are dishonest. I was misled about the condition of a vehicle when I enquirer on the phone. I was told that it was in absolutely perfect condition. When I travelled to see the car, I found that I had been misled as the vehicle had been abused and had marked damage to many parts of the vehicle.
I should have taken the time to read other reviews on this company for, had I done so, I would have realised that this organisation is not ethical.
Be warned. Avoid doing any business with Bellbowrie Motors.

No Service
Went to look at some jeeps to find which one we wanted to buy but no one to be seen. I walked into the show room 3 times and no one around except for a female in an office who took no notice either they must not want to sell cars here.

When first arriving in their dealership we were greeted by Andrew he made us feel comfortable and let us have alook without annoying us. We left and then returned 2.30 friday afternoon took it for a test drive. Found out as much as we needed about the car and left a depoist. Organised fiance and picked of the next day at 2 oclock .The team here are amazing and I highly highly recommend this dealer. I've never had service as amazing as this with buying a brand new car.

Below Average
Sold me a car under false pretenses and when warranty issue occurred... "oh sorry that was the old owner who sold you that, we can't help you." Skoda has stretched the issue out over 3 months.
Totally uninterested in providing any help.

Euro Car Service
After several hours on their diagnostic equipment they provided a "best guess" to the problem with a quote of $875.16 to rectify. If this didn't fix the fault then the costs would be an additional $22,829.87. To obtain this information I was charged $264.00 in labour.
I checked with another dealer on 2 x items in the parts quote. One item was to cost $475.60 and the 2nd item (note that it required 2 off these) was $7,812.90. Obtained comparative pricing from another dealer & the items would be $400.00 & $6,500.00 - a massive saving of $2,701.4...Read more

great experience buying a new car.
They gave excellent service and very good communication, as I was buying a car for my father.
I live near Sydney so they answered all my questions and had a fantastic price on the car.
They picked me up from the airport brought me to the dealership to receive my fathers car.
just was very happy with the whole experience.
Thankyou very much.

Do they even want to sell cars?
I went in to look at new cars the other day and was there for about 15 minutes looking around. Saw at least 4 different people working there all just chatting away among themselves.
Only one person in the time I was there made any attempt at conversing with me with a 'That's a good one that one' statement before walking off.
All of them saw me and I made eye contact but none seemed interested in any type of customer service.
Very poor in my opinion and when I went across the road to Mike Blewitt Ford and Geoff King Holden, both places had someone asking if they could help me within 5 minutes of looking.
Will never go back.

Poor service representative
I was very put off by the attitude of one particular service staff member. The first time that I had my car in for a service, all was fine, except that I had to wait for close to half an hour for a lift from the driver into work (a 5 min drive). So, for the next service I enquired as to how long it would be for the driver to be available, as otherwise I would call someone to pick me up on their way. The service man stared at me for a disconcertingly long period of time - and I perceived he was trying to make me feel uncomfortable for asking. ...Read more
He also had this same reaction of staring when I questioned him about why I had received communication that the car was overdue for its service, when it wasn't actually. I've had no issues with other staff, but his lack of customer service skills is making me consider taking my car to an alternative mechanic for future services (which will probably be far cheaper anyway).Similar opinion? Great Sales Support Until Things Went Wrong.
Sept 2015
Normally, I would write a positive review about my experiences, but after much consideration, I thought it would benefit other potential buyers to know of this experience at Bellbowrie Motors Coffs Harbour before committing to buying a car.
To start, let's just say our experience with Bellbowrie Motors was great until things went wrong. After waiting 5 months for a new car to arrive at Aussie shores, we were very excited in anticipation of owning our first car. The dealer was helpful and answered our questions about the car and ...Read more
provided on time progress updates regarding the car delivery. We felt that all those years of savings my wife and I worked for were finally paying off towards this much anticipated purchase, soon to be realized. How exciting! However after receiving the car, the positive experience we had with this dealership was short lived. This result was the combination of both the state of the car we received and also how the dealer treated us after the sale. Firstly, we had discovered the engine specification given to us was not what we had paid for (painfully, through the warranty specification record). Somehow, the dealer did not tell us about this 'minor' discrepancy when handing over the keys. The car engine specification we received was a lower spec version than the one we had ordered and it could be felt on the road. To lessen our misery, I was told over the phone that there was not much difference between the engines (not how the marketing would have sold it)- Ouch.Similar opinion? Where not to go to buy your Jeep Grand Cherokee
When purchasing your next Jeep make sure you do a lot of research into the Company you are going to purchase off. We purchased our 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee from Belbowrie Motors at Coffs Harbour. The vehicle is great but the Sales People were very ordinary. The service personal were terrific. Sales promised the world to get you to sign on the dotted line then just didn't care about after sales service. Everything was just too hard. We lost a day and a Specialist (Doctor) appointment while they scratched their bum trying to sort out the extras we asked for.

Car salesman is a complete unprofessional
We were buying a new car and wanted to trade in a car we already had however, the car salesman said he could do it better for us and sell our car privately. So we agreed. We went to pickup our new car on Saturday 23/11/2013 and we asked when was the lady buyer coming to look at our sale car. He said to bring down the car on Monday. He phoned us early Monday morning and told us the lady couldn't make it and asked if we could bring it on Wednesday instead, we agreed. My husband took the car to him on Wednesday at Bellbowrie Motors, Coffs Harbo...Read more
ur, where the car salesman said the lady wasn't coming and that he was looking at the car on her behalf. He took some photo's of the car. He then said that she'd come down on Saturday to pick it up however, he had to work so he said that he would drive to Grafton after work, pick her up and come back with her, we agreed that this would be ok. He texted us at 3:17pm on Saturday and said that he was leaving Coffs Harbour. By 5:30pm, he wasn't at our house so my husband texted him to see how far away he was. He said that he got a flat tyre in his Audi, so they were now back in Grafton. He asked if he could bring her on Sunday afternoon as he was going to the Hoey Moey, we agreed, although very frustrated by this stage. Sunday afternoon came and he said he'd be at ours by 3:00pm. He wasn't at our place by 3:30pm so my husband texted him to check up. He wrote back saying he'd had a big night on Saturday and had been passed out all day. My husband asked if he was still coming, he said he was. An hour passed and he still wasn't at our place (we're only about 45 mins from Grafton) so my husband had attempted to call him several times however he didn't answer. He finally sent a text saying that he had passed out on the lounge and that he'd get his [censored word removed] together and come down now. An hour and a half passed and he wasn't at our place. My husband asked him for the ladies details and that we'll contact her personally. He gave us her name and said he'd get her number. 30 minutes passed and he hadn't given us her number. My husband told him that he doesn't want to sell it to her anymore and that he'll take the original trade-in price, the car salesman said to go to Bellbowrie Motors at 10am to meet with the trade-in manager. My husband took the car there at 10am and there was no trade-in manager. The car salesman said that a car market would take it for a certain price, and told my husband to mention the car salesman's name. He asked my husband to sign some paperwork, but instead, my husband got up and walked out. He went to the car market place and funnily enough, they knew nothing about the car and they had never spoken to anyone at Bellbowrie Motors about it. I phoned the manager of Bellbowrie Motors and complained to him. He said that he would speak to the car salesman and phone me back. He did and left a voicemail on my message bank advising that he'd spoken to the car salesman and the manager and they both informed him that there was never a trade-in deal and as such, they had done nothing wrong. We wouldn't have bought the brand new car from them if we didn't have a sale for the car we already had. Now we're stuck with a car because they won't take it as a trade-in. I don't know how they're still in business, I'm completely appalled by this particular behavior and I cannot fathom how anyone in their right mind could treat people like this. I have never met anyone like him. We still do not know if the "lady buyer" even exists!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
