Poor Oven Poor Services from Belling
The oven runs very very hot, the following items have been replaced more then once. And has been a on going issue for almost a year. Seals, Thermal switch x 2, inner and out glass, cooling fan and light have been replaced. Currently the grill does not work, water leaks from the bottom oven and the gas takes along time light. Belling Customer care has been poor and no follow up unless I call.
It's a struggle
A very good looking oven & suits our kitchen perfectly. Heats up quickly and cooks well. Unforunately we had had an issue with the smaller oven & steam escaping, this issue eventually caused the deterioration of the enamel on both oven & griller doors (left side). This was rectified eventually after a lengthy wait (initially reported in July & repair completed Dec). The same issue has now re-reappeared and there is also a random issue with the ignition of the burners. Reported to Belling (March 2020) and no contact from the local repair company to date. I'm afraid we are in for another struggle....
For the price paid I cannot recommend this product on quality or after sales service.
Great product. I love it.
I have been using this cooker since 2014 and I have not had any issues. Fingers crossed. My wife is definitely a fan of Belling products. The rangehood is amazing too. We bought them as a package. The oven is very easy to use and the heating speed is fast.
Don't understand the complaints!
We've owned our Belling now for nearly 6 years and love it! If we finally bite the bullet and redo the kitchen, it will be around this oven. Day to day we use the single oven but come Christmas, Easter and special family gatherings, we work this thing over with multiple roasts on the right and dessert on the left without a hitch. If I'm going to criticise anything it's that the wok burner, that I understand is better in the new model, isn't hot enough to actually wok cook. Otherwise, this is a solid purchase.

This oven starts off absolutely fabulous but then descends into disappointment, sorrow and regret. It cooks really well. The three ovens are really useful for dinner parties and big events. The space and layout is great. And it looks really cool. But after 5 years home cooking use it has disintegrated and appears to be unable to be fixed. The long door has buckled and lets the heat out the top - which has discoloured the outside. The centre burner stopped igniting after around 18 months and I have never been able to source parts for it d...espite emailing the recommended service company 3 times. Harvey Norman - the sellers - have disowned it completely and are absolutely pathetic in terms of taking any responsibility for the product they have sold me (I will never buy anything important from them again). The knobs and controls have lost all of their graphics so it is only from memory that I know how to operate the damn thing. It promised so much when i saw it in the showroom and it has failed to deliver in the long term. My second wife was very similar and this only brings back the memories.
Unreliable appliance, absent customer service.
I've had this oven 4 years. In that time, the rear right hand element stopped working, smell of electrical burning, oven racks distorted and the ceramic top is discoloured despite proper care. Best of all, when company was emailed I received no response. Very disheartening as I thought I was getting a quality British built product and the price isn't exactly cheap.

Junk - don’t waste your money
We purchased our Belling Stive about 12 months ago. We like the look, it went well in our home. That’s where our positive impressions end. It’s junk!
Poorly made, poorly designed. Nothing fits together properly, sliding drawers / shelves keep failing, burners light one day but not the next. Everything about it feels cheap and nasty. It’s like paying for an exotic sports car and receiving a cheap Chinese runabout!
Save your money. Don’t buy Belling. Cheap and nasty crap!
Worst experience with Belling oven 90cm
I am very much disappointment with this product. I bought it 3 years ago. I had some difficulties with the stove. It showed some error. It was within the product care. The electrician attended and stated he cannot fix it. The company do not product the spare parts. The product care company gave me the value of oven. I looked the price at Harvey Norman. It is doubled. I cannot afford it that much now. The product care company that they will replace it the appliance with no extra cost. Now, they changed their statement. They agreed to give me som...e credit and I have to pay what ever on the total price. It is unfair. I trusted on Belling company and I thought it would run longer than three years. I will not advise others to buy the Belling product as it is expensive and expensive to replace it. I am stuck now and do not have money to buy new one. I am surprise the company cannot replace the spare parts. I thought the product care would replace the product with no extra cost. Disappointed.
If you want to form a new friendship with your repair guy then this is the oven for you.
I have had nothing but continual issues with this oven in the 18 months that I have had it. First the door wouldn't close properly and heat was escaping. The door was replaced. Then the rusting started. Now every couple of weeks I find new rust spots. It is actually beyond a joke now. And the service department have closed off claims without actioning them!!! So I submit a claim and hear nothing and then call them after patiently waiting and the girl at the end of the line tells that the claims been closed off. No repairs done. Just closed. I a...m now trying to get the oven returned as after 18 months I no longer have any faith in the product and I shouldn't have to be submitting warranty claims for rusting on an expensive 18 month old often every few weeks. And who knows for how long I will continue to find new rust. And that is proving just as hard as apparently no-one at Belling is able to be reached or make a decision. My best advice is stay away from the products as the quality and service just is not acceptable for the price of the product.

Best oven I have ever owned, just love everything about it, size, heating times . The only thing after 12 solid years of hard work the timer has gone so soft you can hardly hear it
Cooks nicely and looks good
Brought the older style to match our house. It was on sale like around 40% off so got a good price and it came with gift cards as a promo. After we brought it someone told us we would regret it because they are unreliable BUT 8 mths on and happy to say the opposite. It's a bit fast/hot but cooks things the best out of any oven I've owned. It's been easy to clean and I like the 3 different sized sections, they are fantastic. Nil problems at this stage.

Worst oven ever!!!
I decided to replace my 10 year old oven with what looked like the perfect oven, the Belling Richmond 900DFT. The oven was so hot that it melted the side cabinets next to it. A very unsatisfied customer, buyer beware. It’s a dodgy piece of eyesore that’s destroying my kitchen.

is is the best oven I’ve owned - and that’s a few! I mostly use the small bottom oven. It cooks pork belly so well. The grill is great and the long oven is great for quiches and cakes etc. it look kills and very luxurious

Easy to use and set up highly recommend it it heats up quickly and easy to use sleek design affordable cooks food evenly takes time to heat up when grilling would recommend doesn’t use much power. The front glass door gets hot and wouldn’t recommend using it around kids they might burn them selves on the glass
This free standing oven is amazing. We purchased it in our new home as we have an open kitchen. Not only does it look stylish ( we think its the best visual out of them all ) But the food comes out with perfection. Very easy to use. Very basic manual and also has great reviews and comes highly recommended. I have an acquaintance that has also bought this after having a sophisticated dinner at mine. Heats up really quickly! No complaints as yet!
I love this oven!
This is the best oven I’ve owned - and that’s a few! I mostly use the small bottom oven. It cooks pork belly so well. The grill is great and the long oven is great for quiches and cakes etc. it’s also lovely to look at. The black works really well with my granite benctops.

Serious safety issues
Purchased a property with this oven already installed as part of a 56k kitchen makeover which is lovely, however the oven is appalling, 1.oven sides overheat 2.doors have warped because the door magnets aren't strong enough to support the door close. 3. heat escapes above the warped door which has caused knobs to perish, 4. fans seize up and stop the oven from heating up and all this has been observed within a 12 month period. Today I have written to Belling via their online form for someone to come and look at this oven . A 2 year warranty ...for an oven costing over 5k is shocking and the amount of people experiencing the same faults over and over again should warrant a recall. I will be taking this further (https://www.consumer.vic.gov.au/) if a satisfactory resolution from Belling is not forthcoming. Will keep you posted on the outcome ! Update to this situation. Belling contacted me, shortly after this complaint was made arranged an inspection of the oven, the repairman Identified each of the problems l had mentioned and assessed that the problems were NOT connected to incorrect installation or user misuse. The repairman ordered in a new fan, dials and magnets for the door . The oven was fixed within one week free of charge ! The one thing that l will say is that once the faults were acknowledged the company acted in good faith to resolve the issues .It may be that this particular model is not the best representation of Bellings products however the swift action taken to address my complaint had restored my confidence in how important Belling take the aftersales of the product . Thank you Belling very happy that this has been resolved .
I love this oven it cooks my chicken perfectly and is very quick. Not loud at all and my food somehow taste better after. My favourite features are the buttons and the heat. Perfect size and perfect colour for my kitchen as well. Would definitely recommend to my friends. Love

I’m really keen on the Belling Richmond 900 duel fuel in black but you have mixed reviews.
Is the any difference with models or frequency of issues with doors warping etc?
Would love to purchase but want to make sure as it’s a significant investment in our kitchen Reno.

Ours is 6 years old and we still love it. They have a new model now that looks like they've addressed the couple of issues that I see others talking about. They've changed the design of the door, for example.
If they have fixed the long door (RHS) warping that would make a big difference. I am still concerned however that IO have contacted both the Belling dealer in Australia as well as the carefree criminals who sold it to me (Harvey N__man) and am still unable to get any after sales service. Maybe you should establish a relationship with the after sales service people through whoever is selling to you before you pay.

there is a vent on the rear of the oven for the bottom left hand side oven, can anyone tell me what it is for as this is a direct tube from outside to inside??
