I’m really keen on the Belling Richmond 900 duel fuel in black but you have mixed reviews.
Is the any difference with models or frequency of issues with doors warping etc?
Would love to purchase but want to make sure as it’s a significant investment in our kitchen Reno.
Many thanks, Paula.

Ours is 6 years old and we still love it. They have a new model now that looks like they've addressed the couple of issues that I see others talking about. They've changed the design of the door, for example.
If they have fixed the long door (RHS) warping that would make a big difference. I am still concerned however that IO have contacted both the Belling dealer in Australia as well as the carefree criminals who sold it to me (Harvey N__man) and am still unable to get any after sales service. Maybe you should establish a relationship with the after sales service people through whoever is selling to you before you pay.

Hi Paula, Thank you for reaching out to Euromaid, We are delighted to hear you love the Belling range as much as we do, The new Richmond Deluxe series is a new platform and the door structure has been updated, so no warping issue, please let us know if you have any further issues thank you

My oven door on the right won’t stay shut when in use. It seems to be a magnet issue. Is there a fix for this please
Thanks
Lindsay

Hi lindsay. Unfortunately you will need to put in a service request. They replaced my door when i had the same issue. I no longer have the belling had it refunded after 18 months due to all the faults it had. Start checking for rust bubbles now too. Good luck

We have the same problem with the right door always sitting ajar! What is going on? (We love our oven otherwise!)

My Belling Oven is just out of 3 warranty and over the past 3 months, this oven is playing up.
When you use the baking oven (bottom Left) and use the left side of the gas cook tops after a few minutes the oven cuts out.
If you keep the cook tops running and try and turn the circuit break on - in constantly trips.
Initially, I thought this was happening only when the oven is running at around 200C, but last night I discovered that at 160C this was happening when the left cook tops were on.
Once i turned off the left cook tops and moved the pot to the right side, then turned the circuit breaker on---It worked.
I haven't tried isolating the the problem to the right side and that is if you turn the right roasting oven on and use the right gas cook tops whether the same will ok. (something I will try today)
The oven is on a separate circuit and no other appliances or GPO are connected to the circuit.
The problem started about 3 months ago.
Seems strange especially after paying 4k for this oven.
Seems to me the the internal wiring has a relay of some kind that is tripping off when it is heated. I think there is wiring under the cook top plate that has perhaps lost its insulation and this is over heating and shorting out the circuit breaker.
Previous Westinghouse oven ran over 10 years, No hitch, and was sold as secondhand... in good nick.
Please advise me what is happening here!!!!!

Hi,
The manual has 240v single phase/ 3 phase on it.
Can you please confirm if the oven can be run on single phase power without compromise.
Cheers

Mitch H.Belling
Hi Aldd,
This unit can be connected to 1,2 or 3 phase.
Providing adequate supply is available and the cables are correctly sized – single phase will be fine without compromise

ive now used the lower left side oven about 5 times, and it still exudes an odour that i assume is from the enamel coating. how long will this last as it is incredibly overpowering and unpleasant? to others who have had issues with the large door on right side not closing properly during the cooking process, we had the same, it has been repaired but i wonder how long that will last before the door needs to be replaced again? seems to be quite a severe design flaw with the use of magnets on such a large door and intense fan. thanks

Hi, I bought a Belling induction 90cm last year and had it installed in November. I haven’t registers the warranty because it required the model number in the back and it’s already installed. However o recently bought a thermometer to check as it is constantly high in both ovens. My last cake was cooked at 60degrees in the knob but the therms was reading anywhere from 159 to 200. This was a pricey oven and Cake baking and decorating is my serious hobbie. Can you help me?

Hi we bought a Belling BR900DF a few months ago from Harvey Norman and have just used all three ovens together for the first time but the power kept blowing and we worked out that we could not use the lower left oven with the top oven and right hand oven at the same time. Our power is isolated for the kitchen and power boards checked and ok. The lower left oven would not work at all with others on but is ok on its own. Any help?

Hi I have the belling classic 90 cm range. One of the knobs from the control panel has come off and on inspecting it i realised the red and green screws from the shaft have fallen off, how can this be fixed?
1 answer
Ruben R.Belling
Hi Rose, this will require a technicians visit as these screws secure the internals of the appliance. We would suggest not using this burner until such a time the appliance has been deemed safe (to use) buy a qualified and authorised Belling technician or service partner. Please get in touch with us on 1800 444 357. Thank you.

Why wouldn’t Belling produce a better manual after all requests by many more. Need a page with decent diagrams what everything does.
