Good value for money, but an exhaust fan bug.

published

I chose this microwave because it was well priced, and a good size. When you need to cook something simple quickly, you just need to press START for a 30 secs hit. In the middle of cooking, you think it needs longer, press START again and it will add 30 secs. But, there is a problem of exhaust fan. Specifically, when you cook, the water vapor in it is difficult to be exhausted.

Fantastic Microwave Oven

published

I moved to a new house with a very low budget for appliances. Therefore, I picked the super cheap microwave oven from Kmart. As a result of being cheap myself, I nearly burnt down my kitchen. I decided to pay a bit more and pick this brand. Nearly 10 months of using this oven, I have been happy with the easy of use, convenient to clean, simplistic dashboard, and safer! I loved the duo functionality. This can be usual microwave oven to reheat my meal. Another fantastic function was a grilling feature. I could make a grilled cheese toast with this oven. Nothing to complain at all. The price was not way too high still affordable for any family. Functionality was great!

Fantastic

This microwave is great. It heats food evenly and doesn't burn it. Easy to use and has some preprogrammed functions to save time. I like the weight defrost function and use it often.

Performed like a Piece of junk HOWEVER Target are ALWAYS excellent with returns & refunds.

published

This was the last one in the store the demo. I got a good discount however it did not prove to be worth it. It was only purchased to heat up drinks and snacks. Used it lightly for 3 months now it has frozen up and won't start. Buttons kind of Work but no functionality. It won't reset and cannot clear the timer clock symbol off the display. I returned it and got a full refund so I am always very confident in purchasing from Target.

Also no option to change the light bulb. Why make them so I have to call a technician to change a light bulb. Not practical at all. I would not buy one like it again.

As for cleaning around the flat bed section - it is not very good either.

Good for the price

published

I find this microwave hard to use, however it’s manageable. The buttons just seem to be all really confusing and there’s a certain way to get them to work which I still don’t understand so I just use the quick start instead of selecting my time I would normally use. Works well to heat up though which is my main use for it. The quality of the heat I find really good, it seems to heat very evenly, regardless of what I have put in. Pretty good value for money. And quite a good design. My only complaint would be the film over the buttons does lift and bubble quite easily. I have had mine for 6 months and it looks older because of the bubbling on the buttons.

Hi Rita, I'm popping in a link that you may find useful if you have an Android phone etc. If you have an iPhone etc I'm sure there are similar, it's a library of instruction manuals etc. I had a quick look and it does have a different Bellini microwave listed and they probably work the same. Hopefully one of these instructions manuals apps will be able to help. Also you can ask specific questions of me on here and I'll try to help, I may be able to answer them or track down our manual.

Ps I quickly looked up Bellini Australia on the internet and found this site which has the exact product listed and options to contact Bellini themselves. I hope I've helped.

My quick start button and stop/cancel button have stopped working and a little timer icon has presented itself in the bottom right corner of the top display window - just wondering if you can help me to remove this icon so the microwave functions mentioned above can be activated again. Thank you!

no sorry can not help with that

Hi Kirstie, I don't think I'm going to be of a lot of help but I'll try.
With lots of electronic stuff turning off at the PowerPoint, waiting 60 seconds and then powering back up resets them. So my suggesting is to first try that.

After that comes the really unhelpful question of is it still under warranty. If yes, then contact the supplier.

If no, then I can suggest this as something to try but its pretty much a "Hail Mary" move. If where you've located the microwave has caused a build-up of steam then try 1)powering off overnight + 2) putting either an open box of bicarb soda or a cup of rice near the cooling vents (top and left side). Both are moisture absorbers. See if it works in the morning.

I know it's a nuisance and I really wish I could be more helpful.
Best wishes & good luck

Paul

Hi Paul,
Thanks for your reply.
I tried turning on and off to no avail unfortunately. I will try the bicarb today and see if that helps. Will look into warranty, just disappointing to not have lasted very long.
