Terrible service during the pandemic
So, during the upheaval of the pandemic, my partner and I moved temporarily interstate to be with our families and did not realise that our internet payment had not been debited. No emails or anything, Belong disconnected our service and charged us $150 as a termination fee. I paid that but when we returned home and the internet was not connected, we were informed that due to the virus, they can't reconnect us because they have no staff. So, they had the staff to disconnect our service and charge us $150 but can't reconnect us despite the fact that we have a modem set up and connected and no outstanding payments. We are students about to start online exams and have no internet. Thanks, Belong, we'll be going elsewhere.

7 weeks to get connected
We finally got our new internet connected after 7 painful weeks, only after threatening to lodge an ombudsman complaint. We were given so many excuses about Covid and escalations to technical teams but no solutions. Most frustrating experience we have ever had.

Way to ruin my life
Words cannot describe the utter pile of garbage I had to jump through to get anywhere.
In short and simple. Covid19 happened, they switched their phones off with no instructions to their staff or updates on their sites. Meanwhile my phone line went down and subsequently so did my internet. This wouldn't be a no brainer to fix if and only if they had instructions on how to lodge a f'n fault online. Internet outage
I have an internet outage at my place since yesterday and there is no way to contact Belong customer service. The help topics and bot response is so generic and are not helpful at all. Phone connection is off and submitting an online request is hidden. I understand Belong's new mantra seems to be suffer in silence.

Absolutely shocking service from Belong
I am absolutely livid. I live in Perth and have had no internet service since Saturday night. I am not able to contact Support at Belong as the message says that their call centre is not operating during the Covid lockdown. What am I supposed to do? I am also working from home during this Covid lockdown and so are two other people in my home, but now we do not have internet and I cannot contact anyone to assist. I am completely at a loss.

ABSOLUTE RUBBISH: Do not sign up with this company
Signed up to belong ADSL plan, got the modem sent out. Waited for the activation text which never came. I tried to log on to our account to cancel our month to month plan and it still continued to charge us for two months and still is currently not officially cancelled. There is no one to talk to due to covid-19. You have to write an email which I have written many to which I have received no reply!!! I’ve tried contacting my bank to block them from taking more money but they tell me I need to call Telstra. So I’ve now signed up to a new intern...Read more

I’ve paid for two months worth of unlimited internet that I haven’t been able to access and have spent even more ($150 a week some times) on the pocket wifi just to be able to stream Netflix and Stan on my tv. Bad customer service ever
No tech support, no way for direct communication & no response to our complaints. the company seems disappear after forcing clients to contract 12 months that will auto renew to another 12 months via just an email informing so. Also hard to stop contract... Never use again this terrible internet service!

Using covid 19 for non existent customer support, very embarrassing an damaging to belong,
For a company that provides an internet service I find it incomprehensible that there staff can’t work remotely ( maybe there using there own service) 3 days before any notion of contact to resolve a problem, or via call, covid 19 of course, how can other providers manage. Bad bad an bad, had no problems for 12 months but had no need to contact, its a shame. Just spoke too shriad he was very good although this is 3 days after an email, now it’s another possible 3 days for a technician. Think that’s me an belong done, word of mouth won’t do them any good either !

An Absolute Nightmare
Been with BELONG for 2.5 years now. My internet connection had dropped in and out for a few weeks. This week its just completely died so I contacted BELONG and there’s been zero responses. I had to go elsewhere to purchase a data sim card just to use as a internet connection for my home. I’ve contacted BELONG to cancel my service but no response, they’ve closed their call centres so can’t even be contacted, facebooks automated messages claiming that they are not working due to C19. This is an absolute nightmare to deal with, I am getting charged for a service that doesnt work, has zero customer, can’t terminate from and I can no longer work from home due to this. Are they still even a legitimate business? Surely this isn’t right!

2 days no service... so far can't contact them
ADSL just stopped working mid afternoon, during a meeting Can't contact them call centre closed.... even though all other internet providers you can contact during covid-19. Log a job we'll get Back to you in approx 3 days. Judging by everyone else's experiences I won't hear from then for at least 2 weeks... need to work from home can't. Blocked my payments to them and going to switch provider, will NOT pay any exit fees for breaking contact... Never have I ever had a service outage like this from any internet provider. Terrible service and internet
Have had this service for two months after moving out of home. It was terribly slow and we paid the highest price for the fastest internet. Now two months in our internet has disconnected and have followed the steps on the belong website. We have tried making contact for a week with this internet provider and still no response. Connection been cut while using data
Our internet is been disconnected every time we try to use the internet for something like YouTube or Netflix. I did the tests and every time we open a video On YouTube the signal on the modem instantly gets red And the connection is over.
that’s the worst internet provider you can get. Stay away from them.

Abandoned by support, very slow internet speed never goes above 3-6 mb per second again no support at all.

The absolute worst!
I've had nothing but trouble with Belong since I joined 12 months ago! I've been without internet for over a week now and I cannot get in contact with anyone to help me! I can't even cancel this disgraceful service because again, I can't get in contact with anyone. You should be disgusted with the service you provide to your paying customers. Can someone please contact me about cancelling this service - either way I will not be paying for it because I can't use it!

worst customer service!!!
My internet keeps dropping out since April 8. I've sent them numerous emails and they only replied like 3 times. their last reply was 16 days ago telling me that they will have their technical support check my internet. Until now, 1 MONTH LATER and I still have the same problem!!!!i asked them to just disconnect my service since i'm not going to pay something that i'm not able to use. I'm working from home and homeschooling my child. can't do anything so I had to buy a dongle!

I have requested moving my belong service on 7th April, I got the SMS saying connecting date is 28th April, and I should wait for the activation SMS then connect my modem. It's already 3 days late and no SMS. No call center working, no any other number I can call to really TALK to someone in belong to fix my problem. And all the support page in belongs website is not really helpful, more interestingly, belong didn't forget to charge me for the new service monthly fee, I don't even have connection!! I mean, I know it's due to covid19, but when your promised connection due date has come and you didn't do anything, at least sent another SMS to tell your customer what's going on and how long they have to wait more? I'm in the dark here!

I got the activation SMS after writing that review. And your link doesn't really work according to my situation. Viktor. The new situation is when I plug my modem, it's not working, only power and wifi lights were on, sync and internet lights were off. I haven't pay my monthly fee yet, since I didn't get any service from belong. Now I have two questions.
First one is did belong sent me a new modem for the new house? Because the reason I'm using my old one is that i haven't received anything yet. Maybe I should use the new modem, old one doesn't work in the area I moved in.
Second is since I didn't get any service from belong, how much is the cost to cancel my contract, I don't want to wait for another week unless it doesn't get solved soon.
if you really want to solve customer 's problems, please start with asking useful questions to keep things moving forward, instead of stalling the time.

Thank you for your response Lexi but unfortunately this is the same rhetoric as the other responses I have previously received from Belong. This is not an acceptable response in effectively solving the issues I have raised.
As a matter of urgency I expect this matter to be escalated to your immediate supervisor so the matters can be properly resolved.
Don't hold your breath. They basically replied to me after 7 days asking "do you still need help with your connection" without even bothering addressing any of the requests or questions I asked (mind you the question I asked wasn't even that time-sensitive and they could have just addressed it right there and right then instead of not bothering with it at all and ask me to reply basically with the same questions.). it's beyond ridiculous even with COVID19 going on. Try TIO if you can't get it resolved with them. Plenty of other providers would give you proper service.
