Unable to receive calls - no support - Don't waste your time they are clueless
I am in the process of freeing myself from this clueless organization. Children being managed by children.
Support telephone number does not work and cannot guarantee you a reliable service as far as voice calls go.
Paid for incompatible service
Bought a sim for my 80 year old mother in-law to use on her Doro PhoneEasy 623. Only to find out that after 4 days, Belong use the Telstra network, this is not compatible with the phone. So paid for the sim and lost money as I didn't use it, sent email trying to get a refund around 3 weeks ago and no answer. Bought a sim from Vodaphone and ported the number and within 3hours it was up and running.

cant even cancel my email popups could not even speak to anyone even they took money out of my account then 4 weeks later they said they could not access my property thank god I have optus!!!
NBN & Mobile service
We have had Belong mobile for over a year and have not had any issues other than some dubious voice to text messages, as they are essentially a Telstra service coverage is pretty good. We have Belong NBN now for just over a month after switching from Mate NBN due to frequent dropouts and very inconsistent speed. We have had only one dropout since connecting and speed (50mbps) is consistent at all times of the day. I love the data banking/sharing on the mobile service.
Cant receive calls
I can call ppl send messages but cant receive calls im getting tired of there support team telling me to change phone and turned off phone all the time anyone else same problem

So disappointed with Belong customer service
I have been using belong pre-paid mobile for a long time. Recently, I got disconnected my number by accident and in the next minuet I ran Belong to inform this. But their phone didn't work. So I sent a message via the Belong support informing them that it was a mistake, I need to keep my connection and not to disconnect it. But after all that they disconnected my number and now telling they can't reactivate it. When I talk to other mobile companies, they all say, only Belong can reactivate my number but Belong is very lazy to do so. Belong web...site it says the disconnection will take effect at the end of the current monthly payment cycle. But Belong has already charged money for the coming month and and disconnected my number before the end of current month payment cycle. During this Covid-19 difficult time, all essential services in Australia working except Belong. I don't know why Belong can't answer a phone call (working from home at least). They take days to reply to support center messages. I am so disappointed.
Don't even have a connection and ive been asked to refer someone. right
How can I recommend something that I don't even have yet?
Your guys came out and installed everything 03/04. Modem arrived in the mail 09/04 and since then I have emailed your help line multiple times.
Now I understand with minimal staff and and lots of enquiries can cause a delay in replying but my issue is that after for days in between replies these are the responses that I am getting:
1st reply: "G'day XX! Sorry for the late reply as we were really swamped. May I kindly ask if the issue is still ongoing or is everything all good now? Talk...
Worst company ever
Average at the best of times and no customer service, I would never recommend them to anyone and regret changing to them a month ago. Worst company I have been with and will be changing providers as soon as I can.
Never ever go with Belong Broadband
I waited more than 15 days for my broadband connection to be activated and after numerous emails and contacts through app, they did connect my service but guess what that dammed connection has never lasted for more than a day. Unreliable and no internet every couple of hours. Covid is not an excuse, get your act together else I’m going to cancel my subscription if it goes like this
I can’t even work remotely because your service is terribleness. The modem internet light just keeps blinking and i have reset that stupid thing multiple times so don’t even ask me to check your troubleshooting page. Done absolutely everything.
Cannot connect SIM
I still do not have mobile service (states "SOS only") despite it being "ported" for a day, meeting all handset requirements and being told in the email that the service is ready to go. I also made sure with my previous provider that the phone is unlocked. The only way to contact is via the app which provides stunted replies every 3-4 hours. I have transferred my number over and so have now been without a phone for two days, with no sign of there being any assistance/activation.
Absolute waste of time!!
I waited for 2 weeks for Belong to connect me and it never happened. They sent the unit quickly enough to and promised I’d be connected about 4 days later! I waited but sent emails and phoned 2 or 3 times daily.
Absolutely NOTHING, ZERO, ZILCH response! Not one phone call text or email!
Needless to say I went to someone else who actually got me connected quite quickly. I have nothing to say that is good about Belong, just a waste of time and money and I notice the $1 taken out of my account immediately hasn’t been refunded either. They still haven’t even sent me the promised bag to return it! Totally useless company to deal with!
Time to cancel my Belong service
The biggest problem with Belong is that they do not offer Voicemail, Belong is a cheap and nasty service, no service to contact to discuss problems they hide behind this Corona Virus issues, may be that should employ Australians in call centres . Typical of Telstra stuff the Aussies we have more faith in overseas call centres.

There is no support available. Call centre is closed, email responses are generic, nothing happens. Been working at this through support messages for three weeks.
Even the answers here in product review saying contact support are worthless
I can’t get help
Hi I am new to belong I got my sim and went through the online process. My money has been taken but apparently my number cannot be ported from Telstra. I have tried to get back to my account but I can’t and I can’t email support as I can’t get into my account, I have emailed the broad band team and they got back to me but nothing from the mobile team. I am stumped.
Fast easy connection
Received my sim in the post today, set up my account and ported my number from Vodafone which only took a few minutes, internet connection is strong and the process was just so easy. I was very worried about ordering a Sim but am glad I did
Can’t start an account with belong
I received my sim, followed the instructions to only have the app time out on me. For the last 3 days I have tried unsuccessfully to redo the application and set things up. I can’t even send a support request as it keeps telling me something went wrong. Why can’t I ring anyone from a phone company? Not happy Jan
Not satisfied so far
Just moved from optus mobile to belong as it seems promising considering it uses telstra network, as my previous optus mobile sucks at my location. after succesfully activating sim card. i am having problems with making and receiving calls and sms vice versa. 4g is very laggy and only works on specific location even thought the network coverage checker says it should work like 4g. i am currently still in communication with ther support team, i hope it will get fixed.
Super fast connection !!
Was very hesitant about connecting to Belong after reading a lot of bad reviews. But, it was seamless and took less than 10 minutes. THANK YOU VERY MUCH !!!! I would highly recommend Belong to anyone looking at changing mobile phone carriers.
Great customer support
Despite all the happenings in the world right now, I was able to port and connect two new mobile plans with Belong without delay and any trouble. They even honoured my data rollover from my previous carrier (100gb) as the sim was a day late arriving in the mail. We have now also subscribed to their internet services and so far have been easy to deal with and offer competive prices, plus I now get bonuses with the mobile offering which saves me money. While everyone wont have a great experience for whatever reason, mine has been great. Great work Belong.

Hey, I'm paying for 30Mb/s with an average of 25Mb/s in evenings.... How come I'm getting less than about 7 and often as low as 1.6Mb/s? Why don't you have some way available to me to make a complaint? Your phone line is unattended because of the Corona virus? I want to be given credit for the last 3 or 4 weeks that I haven't been able to get online.
Slow speeds are the worst but we can definitely get them fixed up for you :)

Hi I just signed up for unlimited NBN with belong and received a free $80 credit sim? Am I able to activate the sim and use the credit then deactivate the sim? Just need internet while I’m waiting for my internet to be connected up at home
Hi Kate. Welcome to the Belong family! Yes you can activate a mobile account to use the $80 credit, and then disconnect the service once it's all used up. You'll need to raise a support request via the app to cancel the account.
