Wow Pilar, you are a mess. When you pour milk into the milk chamber, theres is a mark all around that tells you how much to fill. You dont need the measuring cup.

It doesn't work that well. The heat it works at plus the avid in the coffee... curdles the soy some of the time

Coffee erupts from screw lid between the water chamber and the milk chamber even tho I have screwed them tightly. Why?

I press the button down for cappuccino but as pressure releases the coffee into the milk it pops up and consequently doesn't froth. Have tried holding the button down but surely this is not how it's supposed to work?

Apart from loading the basket up, not really. Loading the basket up is likely to have "burnt grounds" or a bitter over extraction..

Low and slow heat to allow the milk to heat up... Or add heated milk to the subsequent brews

No. Sadly not effectively. I tried it once, and it didn't flow well from the lower chamber.
