Works great
Does a great job only downside is filter full light now stays on even when you clean it. Still works great though. Long runtime and great power. Cant fault it for price
Purchased in April 2021 at The Good Guys for $249.00.

Disappointing
After reading several online reviews I purchased this machine last week. I wanted something to do quick cleans in between regular vacuums as we have two dogs in the house and one loses huge amounts of hair. It is mainly used on a tiled floor. First use was okay but not as good as the stick vac I used to have (could not afford a new one of those). Today I went to vacuum and found it wasn't sucking up much at all. Looked at the dust bowl/canister and it was almost empty so I increased the suction but still not much being picked up. I FINALLY ...Read more
noticed it had a red light blinking on the control panel and on closer inspection I found the hose on the side of the cleaner was totally blocked. I could not find any large items or sticks etc that may have led to the blockage, just dust and hair. I think the hose fitting is a weak point and reduces the suction of the machine. I tried using it as a portable unit with the attachment on the hose and found the suction is pretty poor. Static electricity causes the dog hair and dust to stick to every part of the cleaner and cleaning the unit takes a bit of time. I ended up using my big vacuum cleaner to get all the dust out of the dust canister and filters. I can understand emptying it every time its used but I don"t want to wash the filters every time I use it. And if you have someone with long hair in the house their hair wraps itself in and around the outside edges of the roller bar and is a pain to remove (I ended up using a quick pick). So for me its too fiddly with so many bits to pull apart AND get back together again when emptying and cleaning it. Suction is not as good as I had hoped for and I hope the blocked hose doesn't become a regular issue.Purchased in June 2021 at The Good Guys Physical store for $245.00.

Superb Design
Finally, a perfectly designed cordless vacuum for daily cleanups. Pros: really good suction; changes power on different surfaces (carpet/tiles/Persian rugs); picks up all pet hair from 2 long haired persians; multiple filters directs lint/dust/pet hair into large barrel (with handle to compact dust, reducing emptying); sturdy release buttons on all parts to allow cleaning; used daily in all traffic areas 4 bed home; nifty attached tube for window sills; charges quickly; 1/4 price of leading stick machine (we ditched 2) with twice the perform...Read more
ance. Cons: not as pretty to look at!! Pick up only surpassed by our ducted vacuum - but that also has design faults in cleaning filters and barrel. No idea why this model was being sold out of Good Guys so cheaply. Salesperson tried to direct us to yet another useless overpriced stick vacuum, with limited functionality and impossible to remove all dust/lint/pet hairs from filters. It is very clear that a lot of thought has gone into the design of this vacuum. B&D must be the only appliance company to test their products in real life situations because they deliver what they promise in this little beauty.

Love it!
Brilliant cordless vacuum. Very handy for my pup that molts a lot, picks up the dog hair with ease. On my carpet and floorboards, it changes the power suction automatically depending on what your vacuuming. And the fact it converts to a handheld vacuum - is fabulous. Although I do believe it’s the turbo head on it that makes it super effective.

Neat and versatile cordless vacuum
It performs great on all sorts of floors including all sorts of carpets i.e. shaggy rugs.
Suction power is decent but it could be a bit better.
Battery life is also decent but I imagine the battery capacity wouldn’t be enough for a place bigger than a two bedroom apartment. Battery lasts for 10-15 minutes while utilising the full vacuuming power.
Considering the great quality and competitive price, I would recommend this cordless vacuum for little households especially.

I was interested in purchasing this machine but I thought I better check out the availability of filters. The manual mentions that there are two filters that need changing every 6 to 9 months. I could only find one filter available at a couple of online stores after much searching and the other I could not find at all. Where do you get the replacement filters from?
