Rubbish product
Whilst this microwave looks good it is truly a sub-standard rubbish microwave. Not worth anywhere near it's huge $$$ price tag. We used it for warming up only and it lasted 4 yrs before just stopping one day this week
I Paid $170 to have a Blanco service agent come and change the fuse (apparently) but by the following evening it was not heating up anything again and now the dial is very hot to the touch.
I wouldn't bother spending any more on this crap... My last microwave cost $125 and lasted more than ten years ..I only tossed it out to replace it with this Blanco.
I'm so disappointed and could never recommend anyone build it into your kitchen cabinetry... It's not worth the money not the aggro
Purchased in August 2021 for A$570.00.

Inside door surround melted, unit dangerous to use.
Unit is built-in to specifications. Purchased in 2014. Microwave function was the fain use and worked well. Convection function was probably ok if you took a cooking course with Blanco, it always seemed to take 2-3 times longer that it should have? I would have recommended the product if the inside of the door was fit for purpose, see attached photos.
I advised Blanco about the issue, they advised that the unit was now dangerous to use and that I would need to replace that door. I rang their recommended repairer, door cost $110 + labour $75.

Good microwave
I purchased this Blanco microwave/convection oven in 2015 and have had nil issues. I wanted it to match my Blanco oven which it does and thought I would use the convection oven part of it, but I don't. It is a great microwave and the kitchen clock is super easy to reset whenever the power goes out!

Wrong choices
We had so many issues with the lights. We only used it for two years but we had so much issues with lights. You can't change light by yourself and you need technician to do it, it will cost you too much for long run so it is not worth to buy it. However, Blanco customer service are very good, they send someone to fix it as soon as possible. We had Blanco dishwasher, cook top, oven and built in microwave, we got problems with every single product. I don't think i will buy this brand any more.

This mocrowave is OK
Purchased in September 2016, this Microwave works fine. However, it combines microwave and oven together, which caused the functions complicated. It is complicated to operate as well. Sometimes, I have to re-read instructions to find a particular function. If I need a new microwave, I won't buy this brand and type.

Great built in microwave, built well and easy to use.
Purchased in 2014 with a cooking pack, works well, cooks relatively evenly for a microwave. Convection cooking is a plus but I don't really use it. I purchased it to match with a Blanco oven and I have used the grill function multiple times with success when reheating pizza! Stainless steel still looks like new and hasn't rusted like the old one I had for two years previously!

Blanco have already replaced mine 3 times and now refunded me
Like the other reviewer, this convection microwave is a piece of junk made in China. I purchased it as it has the trim inbuilt. The first oven faulted about 5 months in, (I also have 2 full ovens so rarely use it except to heat milk) with the blades shearing, Blanco replaced it, must say their customer service is very good. The replacement lasted about 6 months and I found that if I tried to cook meals from defrost, I would end up with raw insides, even though I had to double the cooking time from the instructions.
It is a very complicated ...Read more
unit to use, and now that I am on my 3rd unit I do not bother to use the convection part as it is so hopeless, it is just an element on the top which is no more than a browning element, I also have a KMart convection stainless microwave and it is fantastic so use that most of the time. For the $550 paid, it was a waste of money as nothing cooks evenly, most expensive popcorn maker as that is all it is good for. Even though it is Blanco, it is a cheap Chinese import, but again their customer service cannot be faulted.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Junk in stainless steel box
After much looking around, I bought this oven for two reasons:
1. our existing one doesn't have a defrost function
2. I wanted to cook my apple pie in a little oven rather than the big 900mm one
I saw this at Good Guys and liked the look of it. I took it home and the microwave worked fine. I defrosted some frozen soup, it ended up awful, just a few holes boiling around the container and the rest was frozen solid. I thought I'd cook a pie instead!
Set the oven to convection at 180 and started, after about 7 or 8 minutes, the unit was so ...Read more
hot you couldn't touch the front panel, I thought that may be by design, after about 12 minutes the fans started making a screeching noise as if the blades were warped and hitting the body of their frames. I used a tea-towel and pressed the stop button, that worked! however, I couldn't open the microwave door, because the door was jammed... I had to wait for the microwave to cool down so I could open the door and throw away the pie... Second time I tried it again after 3 weeks, it was a similar story, except that this time I let the oven run for about 20 minutes, the result was that the glue under the front glass started to melt due to poor insulation and the front glass started to slide down the front of the microwave... This time it got turned off and returned to Good Guys store. They were good enough to accept a return without much trouble. Don't but this unit, it is junk!!!Similar opinion?
