Bob Jane All Rounder

Purchased these tyres for my Alfa Romeo GTV, very disappointed with that choice. Poor handling in wet and dry. They wore out quickly. Stick to known brands like Goodyear that lasted 80k twice. Same tyre on another vehicle Toyota Avalon wore out just as quick, tyres created bubbles throwing out my steering, don't waste your money, pay extra for Goodyear, Dunlop. Now purchased Continental tyres, first time, curious to see how they will perform.

Bought a set of these about a year ago. It didn't rain for some time afterward and the tyre which was reasonably cheap, performed ok. Not great, but ok in the dry. As soon as you encounter any liquid on the road the grip is reduced to virtually zero. Tiny touch of the accelerator causes instant wheelspin. Driving around corners produces front end wash. Tyres were fitted to a 1998 Toyota Camry V6 Wagon, have traveled beyond 10,000kms.

bought 4 of the most common size - 205/65 R15 - and was balanced and aligned front and rear. only had to purchase tyres as some lowlife had slashed all four of my previous set way before replacement.

I'm not a slow driver, nor am i a particularly "sane" driver. they do hold their own if its normal driving on asphalt but as soon as the thought of any liquid (rain, runoff from someones driveway, a spilt frozen coke from maccas, etc.) they will not grip at all. an

Bought these tyres for my commodore 4 months ago and have travelled less than 20,000km. I have hankooks ( $20 more) on my subaru forester and they have done 70,000km and still good. Don't waste your money on these rubbish tyres

I did bring my own rims there and together with newly bought tires in bob jane, and ask for installing the tires into my new rims but they were trying to tell me it requiring special lug nuts, even I told them I did try installing it at home by myself, there’s nothing special non requiring any special lug nuts. Finally, they didn’t help me to complete the job, and I chose go ahead with my old rims. However I won’t shop with this unprofessional guy again. Anyway tires are ok, but not services.

Hello everyone I've been a loyal customer to Bob Jane's for many years and get great deals & service through them however the last set of tyres for my elantra which are allrounder are ok but I find that they don't grip well with the wet!!! Plenty of tread correct pressures etc still okay for a budget tyre!!!

Had these fitted a year ago to a 2000 Toyota Corolla 1.8. Car is used every day on the highway in the mid Blue Mountans NSW. Tyres have been through all 4 seasons so far from 40c temps right down to medium snow. Car is driven sensibly on the speed limit all the time and in all conditions car has felt safe and secure. Tyres have completed about 25,000 kms so far and still have lots of tread left.
Need tyres for the rear soon so will probably head back down to Bob Jane Penrith for a new set. Good service and employees there. Lots of negative reviews out there but on this car the tyres are performing well.

The tyre itself is okay but the have worn in a quarter of the time compared to other tyres I have had on my car all of which cost about the same or less I am never going to get again and would warn you against them as a total waste of money
Also not recommended for wet as they tend to loss traction probably could have caused an accident if it wasn’t for my cars ABS being so good
Bottom line absolute rip off for an “economy” tyre and Downright dangerous in wet weather

Decent traction for mild driving and lasted average life but handling, ride, noise and overall feel were all near unacceptable. I didn't enjoy driving the car with them.

Bought the misses an Impreza which had these fitted and I thought I just didn't like driving the car. Put on a fresh set of Bridgestone Serenitys for winter and what an improvement! She's never fussed about such things but said it is like a new car.

Only got 35,000km out of 2 Bob Jane Allrounders on a small family sedan. Not great grip in the wet. For a little more, I replaced them with a better quality set of tyres. Will not recommend.

I have had a problem with one tyre going down but it seemed to fix itself so I have no complaints.
They are very sticky in most conditions and hug the road well. (I previously had Michelin's).
They seem to be holding up well. This is my first set of B.J's.I like them.

These were recommended to me when I went in to get some new tyres to go through the rego process.
I will never touch them again, i can't even tell you how bad they are.

The bad:
1. Wet performance is woeful. You can't turn a roundabout, you understeer like crazy.
2. Dry performance is okay, but squeal like a pig on a roundabout at a normal speed.
3. I find I'm having to put air in them a lot more than any other tyre I've had. I had to get them leak tested because its so frequent - but they were found to have no leaks.
4. I had these on for 8,000KM before I gave up on them and switched to a different tyre. Such a waste of money.3
