Refurbished IPhone
Have been with boost for a year now and decided to buy a refurbished iPhone 8 from their site. Got it within 3 days (that’s pretty special as I live remote) and the phone is looking and working as new!
No scratches or anything, came in professional packaging with charger. All for $450.
Can highly recommend it!

Smooth transition from Kogan mobile to Boost mobile
Amazing experience so far, though should contain my excitement as its only been a day. However after reading all the reviews I was so worried about number portability and service activation. So many people complained they had issues initially and due to COVID 19 I was worried I may face delays too but my previous SIM plan lasted a year and was due to expire in 4 days. So I decided to not wait for Kogan to expire in 4 days and instead activated boost last night on Wednesday late night to avoid weekend in between and safeguard myself from delays....Read more
Luckily my Samsung support dual SIM so I activated Boost and then was also having Kogan SIM on same device and next morning, Voila! All boost services activated already over night. No wait, no delays no calling customer care and waiting in long hold, yayyy. All this for mere cost, all other company plans were bit expensive and no one was providing such good priced international calling along with awesome 240 gb of data for an year just in $300 all inclusive that's only $25 per month, i have been paying upto $100 a month and even more when I was using Vodafone post paid plan services, such good riddance! Every 2 days I would get message my 10gb data is all used and they kept charging $10 per day for data usage. DAMN those theifs! Even Kogan I used their plan last year also uses Voda network but is so much honest, my 25 gb monthly data would never be completely used up even though there were days when we moved home and had no internet for a week and used hotspot tethering using mobile data for YouTube Netflix all day at home, even downloaded movies and no data issues. However last Kogan plan I was using I had to pay $5 every month for limited 250 minutes international calling which finished in just a few calls to home. That $5 per month was on top of $250 or $299 something I paid for monthly 25gb data and unlimited AU calling plan for an year, which is also a good deal given I was so happy with Kogan honest services but just switched for unlimited international calling and I hope boost are equally honest. Plus after using the pathetic money linching Voda services for so many years in fear of number portability delays and not trusting new telecoms network but these new telecoms with their amazing plans and overnight activation are such a relief to pocket.1 comment

4 weeks and the sim still not activate
port a number from vodafone but after a month, still nothing. contact customer support multiple times still said waiting for 24hours and then nothing changed. very bad service and useless support, pls stay clear from boost if you looking for port from other providers.

This Company is darn good value for your$$$ I use $150 plan and it just works 'perfectly' Website is poor to okay so you must ring there staff who will fix anything just takes time that if there web site was useful you could Change plans or remove voice mail ect.

Customer support that completely changed my view of this company
I moved over to Boost two phones after approximately twenty years with Vodafone. The value of the phone plan was unbeatable as was the offer of international calls. Of course this was done during the Covid19 period and when the time came to port, my phones did not port in the 24 business hour advised. I wrote in to complain as I was very disappointed. I receive a response within about half hour. The assistance I received was second to none. It had completely changed my perspective and I am incredibly happy that I did change over. Thank you to the wonderful customer support assistant, she is an absolute asset to the company. I am truly grateful for all your efforts. Both my phones have ported and they work great.

Good Prepaid plan with international calls, but lacks even the basic customer service manners
I am a Boost customer for more than 6 months now. Very happy with the prepaid plan of $150 for an year. It includes international calls and a reasonable amount of data for the year.
The problems started when I tried to order a sim card for my friend. **Alert: Never access boost website on a mobile device** Because I used the mobile browser, I wasn't able to see the error in cart. Basically their sim ordering works like this 'For your each visit to the sim card buying portal, they add 1 sim card to your cart' basically I already had 2 sim cards ...Read more

good customer service support
I was actually not satisfied cause I requested activation on 27th March and after 3 weeks the activation was done eventually. But big thanks to Christine and Sam . My problem was all solved perfectly and I still got 120 Gb that I thought I would not have.
I wrote a review a couple of weeks back after a delay in receiving my $150 365 day 120(80+40)gb Sim.
Obviously the covid 19 situation made things extremely difficult for Boost's
staff. I have called the landline and hold on 1 hour and then be cut off automatically. Luckily we have web connection and I am now happy as Boost do offer me a good discount. I have recommend Boost to my friends.

Worked out in the End.
I wrote a review a couple of weeks back after a delay in receiving my $150 365 day 120(80+40)gb Sim.
I'm now happy to say that all is resolved and Boost have given me some further bonus for my inconvenience -Thanks. A special mention to Christine, Jona & the 2 ladies that helped with my activation & number porting, which in the end went very smoothly.
Obviously the covid 19 situation made things extremely difficult for Boost's skeleton staff dealing with huge numbers of people as best they could. There was plenty of frustration from my end too...Read more

Made email inquiry on Monday. Received reply on Thursday. Not bad.
Order prepaid SIM on Friday. Received SIM on Wednesday today.
Online Activation including number porting. 5 minutes later switching was completed. Everything is working fine
Speed test at 9.45pm, download 74Mbps, upload 22Mbps. Better than NBN FTTP 50/20 of 42Mbps/2Mbps.
Rang Vietnam, talked for 45 minutes, clear voice.

Usage monitoring
I currently several prepaid services with Boost and shortly need to add a further 2 mobiles .Problem is I need to monitor usage of all sevices from 1mobile. Boost cannot help. Optus & Vodafone can. Time to change carriers!!!

disappointing experience
looking for a pre-paid replacement to Optus. Bought pre-paid Boost mobile. heard good things but not true. 0.80Mbps. poor customer service as in no response to emails/messages. Telstra 1.4Mbps & Vodafone 18.3Mbps. Boost is not all that good

Terrible service and no local technical support
Requested number port-in to Boost on 12th April and now have not outgoing/data services. Have called 3 times already and have been told the port-in team is impacted by COVID-19 and local team cannot help as they don't have expertise. It's already 10 days and I am without service.

Stay away. Can’t get a service or a refund. “Computer said NO”
Bought 2 sims got a message saying they can’t send them to my PO Box and can’t change address to residential because computer said no. Been waiting for a refund for almost 2 months. Now refusing to refund $480 because they say there’s no record of payment. I sent copies of receipts they sent to me and bank statements but they still refuse.
Avoid this company at all costs.

Good Value and At least functional Customer service during Covid19
Just ported my number from Vodafone, it got stuck in the middle, but to my surprise rang and within few minutes its redone and everything is working well. plan are good, signal similar to telstra although not 5G.

Needing Nano Blank Sim.
I have been with Boost since day one. I rang TWICE today and on hold for over 30 minutes both times. Both times no help. Just hang up on me...REALLY.
How rude and unprofessional.
All I want is a blank Nano Sim.
Cannot use Chat as that is not available. If you need help you have to ring them overseas. They are no help at all. I'm seriously thinking of swapping over to another service provider and talking my other 3 family members with me. What a joke Boost. No customer service whatsoever......

Ported 2 Numbers from Telstra with Ease!
We had wanted to keep the coverage of Telstra (we live in the regions) but wanted to reduce our costs from $50 per phone per month. We found the $150 (12 month) deal with Boost, which offers 120G of data, given we don't use that much data, it was an excellent cost saving option. The big issue would be how easy would it be to buy online the SIMs and then Port the numbers from Telstra to Boost.

The call was answered quickly - the friend and helpful staff member advised that the special SIM requirement was being waived due to COVID19 and we could just order normal SIMs online and phone back to activate. We ordered online - the SIMs arrived litterally next day. Very Fast. We then contacted Boost to Port the numbers, a message warned of long delays due to COVID19 in calls being answered - but within 2 minutes our call was answered. Again a helpful staff member, it took only minutes to go through the process over the phone (was number port was pre-paid, one was post-paid) but the staff took care of it both. They advised it could take 12-24 hours for the Porting to take place. It had all happened 2 hours later. The Customer service from Boost was excellent and the staff kind and friendly. Still waiting on my sim card
Ordered a sim card online on 2nd April because I couldn't find the $2 sim instore (went to Jbhifi, AusPost, Coles and none had it) and still yet to receive it (16 April) . Website states 2- 7 days delivery with next day service for metro areas (am in Perth). No updates on website to reflect accurate delivery times due to COVID-19 which would have set my expectations better. Still haven't received tracking number. Best in the market for 12 mth plans. Easy to manage and Telstra infrastructure but throttled to 100mbs. So what! Perfect for 4g wireless modems to defeat the NBN dramas. And so much less expensive.

I am a new customer switched over last Sunday March 29th, still have no connection, can't make any calls or receive calls. Have been on livechat they just tell me it's coz of the virus.I have emailed them they said they will respond within 5 days or I can contact customer support, but I can't ring anyone. I finally got my service activated yesterday after requesting activation on Saturday 28 March. I ended up going through the Telstra call centre. I explained my situation and the telstra employee was able to directly transfer me through to a Boost rep and they activated it over the phone. If you can use someone else's phone to call Telstra that will be your best chance of resolving the problem.
Cheers...honestly I'm tired of the whole rigmarole, they should be working from home if the corona virus was a concern, sick of their excuses,extremely poor data speed, they dont even have the decency to repond to existing customers concerns, instead they duplicate every response,to me that explains what kind of company they are and their carefactor..I've got the s8 note so it's a good phone,no reason for crap data speed you were lucky too have jagged the Telstra rep.i wish you all the best!!!
