Hi. My bosch athlet zoo'o won't go onto full power anymore. I was using it one day and it was working as usual and then I turned it on again and since then it won't slide into the turbo suction setting. Also later on, after this issue started it (as someone else has mentioned) to do this occasional crack sound in the handle as well, on carpets. How can I fix the not clicking into turbo problem?

I have the Bosch Athlet red upright cleaner. I wash the filter and clean the brush regularly but when I lift the cleaner head to go up a stair or stop the cleaner debris falls out of the head. It does not pickup and deposit little bits of stuff in the container. Suggestions please?

It appears you didn't fit the filter cartridge back correctly into the vacuum cleaner. You have to hold the two side clickers in on the front of the filter housing to make sure it clicks into place.

It is a common fault due to a design fault that Bosch has known about for years. Try this fix from some guy on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mHi3HNp_h-o

Get another hoover. This one is unrepairable. I've tried due to hair and carpet fluff blocking the brush and tube.

Perhaps contact Bosch, I can use mine for at least 20/30 mins, basically vacuum the entire house and still have plenty of battery/ charge left ?
I did experience what you are describing with a Dyson I owned prior to the Bosch.

I have bought two Bosch Athlet (white) was very impressed with the first one but after 12-18 months use the brushed stopped working on it.
Being busy and not having time to seek a repair I bought a second one (red) however the brush head on that one has also stopped working and that was is less than a year old.
Rather than my cupboard becoming a graveyard for "nearly works" cleaners I though you can help in resolving the problem.

I bought my Bosch Athlet cordless few months ago. It worked properly, I used it only 2-3 times but last time when I plugged it in the battery was not charging. Though the filter and all belongings were not dirty as such I have cleaned everything and tried to charge it again but the battery is still not charging. Any help?

If it is only a few months old it should be under warranty. Take it back to the retailer and have it replaced. I always buy extended warranties now as quality control on consumer products seems to have disappeared. It is perhaps cheaper for manufacturers to let their customers do the quality control testing. When you make hundreds of thousands of a product it isninevitable that some fail, so you might have received a dud product. I still think the product is essentially well designed and Bosch batteries have a good reputation. Good luck anyway

It sounds like your battery charger maybe faulty.

I just bought mine and I have not experienced this. It is a portable product so take it back to the seller and test the warranty and after sales service and update your product review accordingly.
By the way, when it is in charge mode, the lights on the front should be flashing. If not, then I would suspect the charger may be at fault. Either way, the warranty should cover this.

I have a Bosch athlet pro animal Hoover and whilst hoovering the handle completely snapped off just under the on off switch, my Hoover was only brought in July 2016 so I am assuming that this is a design fault, as to be honest you don't expect any handle to snap off of any Hoover,I have my reciept and took out and paid for extra insurance so I am under the impression that I will get an immediate replacement, any thoughts? My Bosch Athlet Turbo, whilst charging, will not vacuum. I have used it before, and have cleaned out the filter. This was meant to be an easy, more or less lightweight, cleaner for a smallish home, but I am now very annoyed with its non-use.

I will be taking it to the local appliance shop where I bought it, but this is rather an inconvenience for what I spent out, and Bosch may well have to face reimbursing me for the trouble and poor performance if I choose to force this into a legal action.

It seems others have had an issue with their Bosch cleaner. I would have hoped that a German manufacturer would have been able to keep to the high calibre of other German products. I have German roots myself.

I would appreciate a reply at your earliest convenience.

Regina Simpson, address withheld.
