Poor construction. Pyro cracked glass first time used. Buyer beware
Purchased this oven in 2013 and used the pyro function for the first time today. An hour into cleaning and the glass has cracked. Called up Bosch and they said its out of warranty and I would have to fill out forms explaining myself again and plead with them to fix this for me.
This product is not doing what its meant to do which is self clean.
Stay away and spend your money elsewhere.

When is warranty not warranty when facia panel scratched straight out of the box
Purchased from Winnings a Bosch HBA63B550A stainless steel oven installed on 21st November along with a new cooktop. After installation we found a vertical scratch on the oven face. Contacted Winnings on the same day to advise of same. Winnings contacted Bosch regarding the replacement of the oven facia. Bosch contacted me regarding the damage. Sent them a an image of the scratch. 2nd December Bosch don't believe it is a warranty issue. They gave me an option of sending out a service guy and if not a warranty claim then it would be at my cost...Read more
for the callout. I asked them if they contacted Winnings - No and I had to ask for a case number. Winnings / Bosch please I'm the customer in the middle and want this sorted out. Why should it cost me money to sort this out! I'll think twice before giving references. I await your responses. December 3rd 2014 Update: Update 1. I have had a response from Bosch and a phone call today. Nothing has changed, nothing has progressed. Bosch was to ring Winnings and get back to me today. Bosch should have rang Winnings prior to getting on the phone to me. It's 2.30pm and I haven't heard from anyone yet. Honestly it needs a simple operation panel change. Maybe these companies are fighting over who pays! This should not be my problem. I've been waiting since 21st November to get this sorted. What did I get myself into. I guess after sales warranty is hidden when you are buying. I will keep you updated on this extremely poor customer service.1 comment

I've loved my pyrolitic bosch until this evening when the glass of the door shattered. Now I'm stuck without an oven and friends coming for dinner! How quickly can it be replaced and given the feedback from other users and your own technicians is this a known fault?
