The c01 would seem to indicate the appliance is in the basic settings. The clock button needs to be held for 4 seconds in order to apply them and get back to functionality. If you've definitely done this then a service call would be recommended.

I want to clean my oven. I have cleaned the door oven glass but there is still a light brown mark which is apparently on the inside of the of the glass. The mark is about 75cms square, its is not very noticeable but I can still see it. Do I have to take the oven door glass off and clean this mark off or will it be okay to clean it with it still there?

No need thank you. I went back to the store where i bought it and we worked it out. it needs to be pushed in firmly until collar of the stop engages with the hole in the oven frame, maybe push and turn a little.

I really struggle when cooking roasts in this oven, am able to do meat or vegetables separately, but never at same time. Isn’t fan forced supposed to make this possible? Would really like to see more advice on settings.

Hey Mim I have same issues! The oven isn’t for big loads like a roast and roast veggies! Mine will only do one tray of anything and I’m one person. Even I can’t cook a roast AND veg too. I bake quite a bit and only can do one tray at a time with a bad back I can’t stand around for ten-12 mins when the bullies have baked ready for the next tray. I hope you find your answer as I can’t make out the symbols as I’m renting. It’s frustrating lol first fan forced oven and I burn everything first try! Good luck Mim

Sorry Steve, but I have no suggestions. Our oven light had failed but all other functions worked. The solution was to replace the motherboard with the final bill coming in at $426.00. Be aware the parts for this oven are very expensive, a very high percentage of the original cost.

Reach out to Bosch. They will replace for free as it's a dud. Do not use the auto cleaning function again

I have a HBA63S4.1A which I am happy with but I have never used the pyrolytic clean function. I've had it for about a year. I'm not worried that my oven is either too dirty for it to work or too dirty and which may create a fire hazard.
I have done the occasional wipe out, but it's still very dirty.
I'd be happy to give it a good scrub first, but have read that you shouldn't touch the inside with a scourer or chemical of any sort, or risk damaging the surface.
Advice anyone?

Hi there, new built in hba63s4.1a I don't have much experience with pyrolyric self cleaning function but no where in the manual does it say what to expect/ how it works. Is it ok for the grill to stay on, is this how it turns everything to ash, so use to removing grill from oven thought would be more fan heating steam type cleaning ?? Stupid I guess. Just seemed unsafe, burning smell, eye stang a little, so turned it off after 10 mins

During the pyrolytic cleaning process, the oven heats up to approximately 480°C and the door is locked for safety purposes. At this temperature, residues from roasting, grilling and baking are reduced to a thin layer of ash that can simply be wiped away with a damp cloth.
This can cause a strange smell from the oven during the process, it can help to leave your windows open during the clean to allow air circulation into the kitchen.

I have bought and used the oven without problem for a year. But have not got the guts to do a self cleaning for fear of those comments of problems thereafter - glass cracking, lamp n lamp cover etc...
