Hi we have the 17e system now approx 15 years old, these past 2 weeks it has not ignited at times when drawing hot water, i have turned the power off, plus gas & water then on again and it make a buzz and all is well for a while the it goes again. I have pulled the cover of an noticed a earth leakage device located in the bottom left hand corner of the unit ? there are 2 buttons on this device are they re-set buttons??? as i am surmising that perhaps i am getting some earth leakage and the unit maybe cutting out, it seems to start again after i have pushed these buttons.
No that’s just if it floods so you don’t die.

Hi,
I am using a 21e on bottle gas and mains water just for a shower @ the lowest setting 37degrees and the light goes off when I add cold water, @ 28 degrees ambient temperature, the hot water cuts out and when the cold water is turned off the hot water comes back on to hot. If I leave the cold water added to the hot water the 21e just keeps going on and off. A certified gas plumber has suggested I just I turn the 21e up to the maximum 50 degrees and just add cold water? Is there a low pressure cut off valve in the water system?
Kind regards Trevor
Hi there I have a Bosch 21e with remote controls, with the bath fill calibrated the water keeps flowing after its alarmed and ment to have stopped.
I'm using a premium controller, the water does slow but won't stop, I'm wondering if it is to do with the Tompson tempering valve, should i be running a tempering valve with remotes?
Hi I have the Bosch Highflow 26E and I have the same problem.Everytime the shower is in use and someone else opens hot water from the tap, the water in the shower changes to cold. For example if someone is using the shower and someone opens the kitchen tap, the shower changes to cold straight away. This is so annoying as I have to announce to everyone that I am showering and can not open any water what so ever. Is there any way I can fix this problem, maybe changing to a bigger hot water system will help? Thank You
Do you use a normal bbq gas bottle for the Bosch hot water
I was doing so, till it stopped working! The bottle is still half full and the pressure seems fine, will be pulling it apart and checking for blockages this weekend.
Hot water went cold, new gas bottle still no hot water
Had bbq gas bottle on while waiting for leg gas bottle delivery. BBQ bottle worked well for 3 days, then water ran cold. Big bottles arrived, still no hot water
It has played up twice this week with no water flows through and no hot water comes out then we turn the powerpoint off and turn it on and it's ok again
Hi, Got a high flow 21e, bottled gas and a pressure pump, only done about 5 weekends work. Worked fine, but suddenly it comes on for a brief burst then stops, so a tiny bit of hot then back to cold. Checked bottle, half full, water flow fine, any idea what is going on?
Thanks
Steve
I have Bosch 17e bottle gas won’t light in wet weather thanks Geoff
Why does the control panel beep on a Boshe 25E
My Bosch highflow 25E stopped working last night whilst in use. There is no water running out of the hot tap at all?
Does this need a power supply?
Our Bosh 26e Highflow is continually going from hot to cold on both our units. I have replaced the Regulator on the gas bottles. What could be causing this?
Try checking your water saver in your shower for grit or items that will slow flow> Also above the inlet water valve to the HWS is a filter Black plastic nut . Flush that out . Also turn power off . unplug. Re plug turn power on to rest the brain
We have low water pressure at our farm. The unit is working for the shower (just) where there is a separate hot tap, but not for the mixer taps in the kitchen or bathroom. I have tried a reset but can only get it going for the shower. However if you turn on the cold water in the shower too much the hot water cuts out. Not much fun when its only 4 degrees outside. I wonder whether it is a low water pressure problem or heat exchanger in the unit itself? The unit is more than 6 years old but in good condition.
I have bosche 21 works perfectly fine but it oftenly shuts down and when i say shut down there is no any hot water flow. The hot water flow completely stops where as cold water still flows. The only way to bring it back is to go down out and restart the heater.
Tonight the highflow17e won’t let any water run through the taps I cleaned the filter still not water there is water in the lines
14 year old Bosh Highflow 21e gas hot water system serviced every two years. Highest temp set at 55, but can be adjusted by mains controller. When turned on for the first time in the morning the red light comes on and the water starts to warm up, but after a few seconds the red light starts to flash followed by the number 16. This is followed by the unit and the water flow cutting out . We do this a couple of times and the unit works ok, but the temp fluctuates. When we take our showers later in the morning at a reduced temp of 43 there is rarely a problem, but the temp still fluctuates. Can this be fixed, or do we need to buy a new unit?
Hey All,
My Bosch Highflow 21e keeps making a noise like goose, the unit is connected to gas mains and is over 7 years old, we inherited it when moving into the house.
Any help would be great
