I have an instantaneous Bosch Hot water system (Tank less) Model 22e.
stopped working, electrician white wire was burnt and was disconnected from the flat whit plug.
The Electrician by passed the plug and joined the wire. the heater works however the control display unit inside the bathroom shows only 40 *C and does not go up further. it doesn't seem to be broken or malfunctioning, hence when I move the select button to Bath mode the up button moves from 40 to 48 *C without a problem, I need to know how to set the unit, your support is much appreciated. Thank you

We have had one of these systems for years. Just lately when you have a shower the hot water cuts in and out. The shower goes hot and then cold. When watching the unit the light actually goes off and then you can see the gas start. What should we do?

Hi. We have Model 25e - we recently re-did our kitchen and as part of that changed the kitchen tap. I understand that the heater switches on when the water flow is of a certain volume (pressure). The pressure on the new tap is lower than on the old one and sometimes the heater does not switch on. Is there a way to change the setting for the triggering pressure?

Hi,
My Bosch hws turns on, but the water stays cold. I’ve had this issue before and by turning hws off at power it usually works. I’ve checked and in fact changed to a full gas bottle, (gas stove working fine this whole time.) checked power point that there is power to it (hair dryer works fine).
You can hear the how the system goes on... and water run through, but I don’t and cannot hear the pilot light start up like other times. System is only about 5 years old and serviced regularly.
Can you help me please?
Diana

Hello

I have a Bosch Highflow 17e.

Recently I have noticed that the red light on the remote controller thermostat unit is turning on and off while I am using the hot water (e.g. having a shower and the red light remains mostly on, moreso flashes of the red light going off).

I have also noticed temperature fluctuations more often duirng showers.

Because the weather has been hot in Adelaide I have recently reduced the temperate setting on the remote controller thermostat from about 41 to 37.

This morning, however, the red light was disappearing more often. It eventually came back on.

Do you have any suggestions?

Kind regards

Tony

I’m renting a house with one of these units. I’ve never had gas hot water before and I knew it had its problems, as my daughter has been on gas hot water for years. This is ridiculous, we get hot water but trying to adjust it is unreal. You get it right and then it totally cuts out and no hot water at all. Turn off the water and start all over again as there is no hope of trying to remix it most of the time. The amount of water that’s going down the drain is unreal. Sorely disappointed. Before I contact the real estate I’d like to know can this problem be fixed or am I stuck with this reoccurring problem.

Yesterday we had intermittent power outages until we had a full blackout for around 3-4 hours. Since then my Bosch26E unit will not provide hot water. The Burner indicator on the bathroom controllers is not lit and the gas unit itself does not ignite when the hot water is turned on. The controllers then default to 11 deg. Any ideas on how to do a full system reset ? Cheers John.
