Hi there, Have only had the Bosch machine for about three years. During a wash cycle the RPM different options start flashing and beeping. The wash continues but this is obviously not supposed to happen. Is there an easy fix.

I have never had this problem, you could try unplugging the machine then starting again, this sometimes helps or go online to Bosch and put in your model number and sometimes they can offer solutions

We've only had our Borsch for a year. Just past 6 months ( end of warranty) the door seal began to rip then water started poring out of the seal. We had to replace the seal costing around $200 to purchase and install. The replacement seal is now torn again and water is poring out from the seal. I am so disappointed. This is the first new washing machine I have ever bought. My previous second hand machine lasted for 15 years! We are now thinking of buying another machine.

hi was just wondering how I turn my rpm up as my washing is very wet after it finishes its cycles?

1 answer

Hi Tracy,
Is there an RPM button? I can say put mine on cotton and press rpm and put it to 1100 rpm for longer spin. The mix load is a shorter cycle which I use sometimes but can only be set to rpm 1000. Can use spin cycle separately and hit rpm again if it’s still wet. I find the wool cycle is not that good for jumpers etc and my clothes come out soaking. Hope that helps a bit. Kat

Hi, I have a Bosch WAE24272AU Maxx Washing Machine, that had a fault Error 03. I was advised this was due to the door interlock, which seemed reasonable as the door had become difficult to close. Replaced the interlock switch, but now, no water flows into the machine and the Error 03 still comes up?

Can Error 03 relate to something else, did not have a water inlet issue prior to door lock becoming faulty? No problem with drain outlet, which I was told could also cause Error 03, but nothing else??

Hi Julie.
Maybe a power surge affected the machine. Do a Google search for 'Bosch F21 error', and see if there is a reset solution.

Serie 4 WAE22464AU

I bought a Bosch WAE22464AU washer last week and I am very disappointed with a couple of things which you may be able to help me with. The shorter cycles do not spin the water out more than 800 RPM and thus I have to put the load through the 12 minute spin afterwards for it to get a 1100 RPM spin to remove the water. I am not interested in the long wash cycles.
Also, I find it very frustrating having to wait 3-4 minutes for the door to release after a cycle finishes. Is there a way to get the door open?

Hi Lisa I mainly use the Easy Care or the Dark Load settings & I just adjust the spin speed to 1100rpm. To be honest I have never noticed the time delay to open the door as I am usually not near the machine at the end of the cycle. Sorry I can't be of more help

Same problem for me, the longer cycles give no problem on spin, but the Short will not spin at all. Bosch front loader WAW2846AU
Just an extra comment, I found that if I washed just one item, a new jumper, the weight wasn't adequate to trigger the spin cycle. After several attempts on various settings, I added two sheets, and the spin cycle worked as it should even on a 15 minute quick wash cycle. I assume that the electronic sensors require either the contents to be in balance, or of adequate weight.

The Bosch dryers are the same when the weight of the load is light. The machine stops indicating the load is dry, however it is not. I use to have a Miele washer & dryer. They do everything automatically. I hadn't even heard about RPM on a washer until after buying a Bosch.

What setting do I put towels on? Instructions do not say anything about towels, actually the instructions are not very good at all.

Because I change towels daily, I just use 15min super wash for 1 or 2 towels with a little bit of detergent.
Occasionally I use easy wash (about 55min) for 3-4 towels.
They both are about 40 degree water. It does the job in my case.

My Bosch Maxx 1000 has been going with minor repairs now for 10 years. Suddenly it started tripping out the power about 8 mins into the cycle. Resistance tests on heating element and thermistor show acceptable readings.
Works fine on cold wash cycles.
If I restore power after it trips and change to a cold cycle, it works right through correctly. Same goes if I then switch back to the heated program, so long as no heating is required.
What's the solution?
