Absolutely great iron - not usually the sort of thing I would get excited about but as soon as you hold this, your realise its better than most others. Quality everywhere. Its god a few good tricks up it's sleeve too such as auto shut off and a nifty cord socket on a ball joint. Definitely recommend this

It works really well for any kind of fabrics and easy to operate, it so gentle to my clothes and delicate, I don't have to take too much effort when I am using this, it helps me a lot doing the ironing and work faster for ironing just take a little time to ironing

This is such a nice iron! It is nice and heavy and does a beautiful job, even with heavy linen. It has the most powerful steam function that I have used and features such as auto shut down, a really good quality swivelling cord and holds a steady temperature. I literally cannot think how they could make it any better - its great!

This is definitely the best iron I have bought. I need to iron every morning and although I don't care about it, I still have to do it. This Braun iron is in a whole different league quality wise compared to irons I have had in the past. Its beautifully made, has little quality touches and pumps out a metric tonne of steam when required.. Very pleased with it,.

I didn't know I "needed" a new iron until the day they were on special online for $24.99! This is a top quality German iron and it shows in little details and overall quality too. Its heavy which means plenty of metal was used and it has tots of thoughtful touches. Don't think twice if you are considering this model -do it! Its great

The super super steam is fantastic at getting out really hard creases in cloths as a mechanic my cloths get very messy and this dose a great job. Watch out it heats up within seconds and burnt my finger almost but apart from that it's great if you need it done fast.

I bought this iron a year ago and it does the job very well. Heats up fast where the cord is nice and long. I found this iron to have a good warranty and its' easy to clean which I like about it compare to other irons that aren't. Worth purchasing.

This is the Lexus of irons. I took a point on it as I bought it sight unseen online and its a ripper. Good and heavy to press cotton with a general "quality" feel all round. Its gos a coated hot plate that is extremely smooth to use and a shot of steam like a mules kick. Definitely recommend this model

I got this because it popped up as a special deal on Amazon - I wasn't particularly looking for a new iron but I suppose our old one was a little tired. As soon as I opened it I knew it was a real quality machine. Heavy in the hand and built with a luxury feel. The best two features are the swivel cord and the auto off. Using it's actually a pleasure, it glides so nicely. Steam shot is something else too! Very powerful! Easily the best iron I have owned.

What an amazing iron!! We bought on sale from Myer and it was really cheap for the quality you get!
It heats up very quickly and has an automatic temperature control, so need to worry about burning your delicate items. It is safe and very easy to use.
The only negative is it has a short cord which does get annoying at times!

This is heavy and solid feeling. Every part of it feels like good quality. The handle, the way the buttons operate and its heavy weight. The weight works with you and makes ironing cotton things very easy indeed. The steam shot surprised me the first time I used it - its massive! Its just got an overall quality "feel" to it and works very well. I got it on very good special at Amazon and although I didnt particularly need a new iron at the time, I am very happy with it

There is nothing particularly remarkable about this iron, it is just does a good honest version that does everything well. Solid heavy base, auto shut off, swivel type plug end and very, very powerful steam. The surface features and multi layered anodised coating. They say it repels sticking but I suppose I won't really know for a few months (just got it) Overall a good quality product

This is a beat iron. Unlike all those cheapies, it actually feels like a properly made iron and has enough quality metal in it to hold an even temperature. It has really good quality cord swivel that eliminates fraying and the best thing (for me) AUTO OFF yes! I have left the iron on all day more than once. Very happy with this should last years

You can trust the Germans to do a "good" version of most things as so its true for irons. I got this in one of those "flash sales" on Amazon but it was perfect timing because my old one really was overdue to get replaced. I wasn't sure what it would be like until I opened it and wow. - its great. Its heavy and has some new wonder coating on the base plate that just slides across fabric. It holds the temperature well and irons everything very crisply. Makes me wonder why I waited so long. Great iron with a real "quality" feel to it.

This iron is weighty in the hand and extremely smooth whilst ironing. It has a new non-teflon type coating that glides really nicely. Time will tell whether it gums up or not, its certainly very 'glidey' while its new. The steam is very powerful. I think its the strongest I have used in a regular home iron and the added weight (heavier than normal) makes it very nice to work with - especially with thicker fabric. Happy with this - its a keeper.

I got this last week in a special sale and I must say, its a pretty dandy iron! It has a quality feel that my old Kmart one certainly didn't. It is very temperature stable and is solid in the hand. I did cotton shirt first and it was like silk! So smooth to use. It has auto shut off which someone like myself needs and a swivel on the cord which seems like avery good idea. Hope to have it for years!

Very happy with this iron. It ticks every box as far as the world of irons goes! Its got enough weight to press down firmly and enough metal in its platet to hold a steady even temperature. Shot of steam would have to be about twice as powerful as most others and it has several very nifty features - auto shut down after you have finished using it and a really well designed cord swivel that stops fraying. Actually enjoy ironing with it. Good stuff!

Great iron on the cheaper price side of things. Heats up quickly and temp controls are accurate. It's safe and reliable. Cools down quickly. It's lightweight and has a good length cord. I bought this at Kmart. Cheaper price than at Coles and Woolworths. BRAUN IS a very good brand.

This is a heavy 'professional' feeling iron and it may be more than I need as I only iron occasionally but it was on really good specuil so I couldn't resist. It is has a really powerful shot of steam that surprised me first time I used it and (thank goodness) an auto off function so you can't leave it on all day. The cord length is very generous and it has a swivel so that the end won't fray through. I anticipate owning this for many years and am more than satisfied with it.
