Lovely Heavy Iron
We just received this yesterday and wow is all I can say! The difference between this and the one it replaces is huge. It is quite heavy in the hand and has a solid 'proper' feel to it. The base is clean because it is new so it glides very nicely. It has a feature I have been sorely missing - auto shut off. I am sure it will be reliable so I am happy with my purchase.

Absolutely Brilliant Iron
We just received this and have done a big pile of (overdue) ironing. It is lovely to use, It has a new non-Teflon surface that is so smooth to iron with. It feels very good in the hand and looks terrific. It warms up quickly and seems very temperature stable. I got it with a really good deal on Amazon. Great deal!

Lovely high quality iron
Trust the Germans (Braun) to do a 'perfect" version of any given product. This iron is the best one I have used. It has a modern anodized base plate that supposedly wont stick and I must say it really does glide across the clothes. It is beautifully made and holds the dialed up temperature well. I haven't tried steam yet (just got it) but so far it seems perfect!

Heavy noisey but a dream of an iron
This is a great iron heats up quick has a great steam system. I did notice that when I turned it down it leaked where the steam had not release out of the bottom.
It is heavy but presses well. Used it on a couple of linen shirts and perfect.
Would buy again.

Lovely Iron - So Nice To Use
We just got this and I love it! Wow what an upgrade from out old sticky plate iron. It has a smooth gliding surface that's like ice skating om clothes. Its some kind of super anodized finish but whatever it is, it is great to iron with. It is attractive looking (for an iron lol) and holds its temperature ver well.

Good quality at a great price
Heats up quickly with a good shot of steam. It holds a decent amount of water for steam so there is no need to refill too frequently. It has a long cord and is well priced. It has a good sized plate and is not too heavy. Overall highly recommend.

So easy to use
Had quite a few irons over the years, this time before I bought this one I decided to research and it came at one of the top irons to have. The iron heats up really quickly, light to use and makes ironing an easy chore. The only downside is that you need to fill up the water tank more often. Love that it comes with a textile plate for those delicate items

Makes ironing a breeze
The Braun hears up quixkly within a few seconds. I turn the iron on, get my clothing and it's ready. It glides over my items with ease and wieght and it seems to take less time to iron. It's a good shape and the steam options cut through the wrinkles. The iron will turn itself off if you forget to.

The best Iron I ever had.
I have bought this Iron after my previous Philips Iron died and I am more than impressed. This heats up quickly, it is really easy to use temperature control and that turns accurate. The Ironing becomes so easy. We maintain the iron regularly as per instruction provided in the manual.

Smooth as silk, steam like a train
Recently acquired a TS715A model from Amazon (50% off), to replace my old iron. Eloxal Soleplate is amazingly smooth. I'm impressed with the size of the water tank (400ml) and its steam capability. After a couple of use, i found level 2 heat is enough for most cotton business shirts and 3-4 seems to be right amount of steam, without flooding the shirts. A recommended unit.

Good Iron with good steam, however cant hold its drink
The iron Heats up and temperature control is fantastic. the amount of steam output is very generous and gives my clothes a great iron. However, about 10 minutes into using it, there is the occasional uncontrollable leak that made two of my shirts all wet and made a mess of everything. Will how how it fares for the next couple irons but may consider a refund.

Does a great job
I use this iron occasionally and think it does a really job. It feels really well built and is quite heavy and sturdy. Just one pass over my shirts and they are done. No complaints as yet, but have only used it 3-4 times and has great sleep function when not in use.

Was ok
I purchased this iron to replace my Philips Azur GC 5865, it works fine, good heavy iron, but wasn’t hot enough for me as I really like an iron that’s really hot. I returned the iron for this reason, but it would be a good iron if you are not looking for a really hot iron.

Makes ironing shirts so much faster
heats up quickly and makes ironing shirts so much easier and quicker. creases come out mostly with one go! did have an issue with the first one tripping our fuse but got an easy exchange with myer and no issues since. also got the textile protector to use with more delicate fabric which is a useful add on.

Why did it catch on fire brought in October this normal takes two years before my irons catch on fire or stop working. Can you recommend a iron that can handle 6 to 12 hours of ironing per week. Every time they catch on fire I buy a different brand. I had not had a Braun before . Why do l irons catch on fire ? Amanda

I would be more worried about your dwellings safety switch not killing the power when your iron/s supposably caught on fire.
"Mike"
Thanks for your "concern" about my safety switch, it works just fine thanks, unlike the iron. I would gladly pay overs for an iron that works more than 8 weeks.

I don't have this particular model, however the manual for this iron is available as a free download from the Braun website. Hopefully this will answer your question.
