Recently anytime we try to use the milk frother, a few seconds into the steam wand working it stops and a message is displayed, "Attach Steam Tip" and in smaller print, "Return steam tip onto steam wand". I descaled, I've carefully followed the steam wand cleaning instructions and yet this is still the case anytime the steam wand is to be used. How do I resolve this?

I get this problem exactly. Machine has been back to Nespresso and circuit board changed but still getting the fault intermittently. Have cleaned the wand, descaled and reset to factory settings all to no avail. Hope someone knows how to fix this???
Same problem here. Can't make frothy milk due to the "attach stem tip" error. Its an error as the steam tip is attached. Started 2 weeks after our 2 year warranty expired.. we already previously had the machine serviced for poor steam wand performance that was purportedly due to scale, although we followed the descale and clean steam tip instructions religiously. Frankly, although we love the concept of this machine, its just had too many issues too rapidly for its price..
This problem continues intermittently here. I am going to try replacing the steam tip with a new one but whether that will help I dont't know. Please can someone help with a solution?

My machine was frothing milk this AM. It stopped half way, flashed that the nozzle needed cleaning. I cleaned the nozzle, replaced it and now the machine will not turn one. When I press the on button the lights around the button and dial turn on for about 5 seconds then turn off again. The screen display does not turn on either. Any help?

We have had our machine for 5 months and only use it once a day. For the past few weeks we are finding that the cold milk doesnt heat satisfactorily or froth at all at the first attempt, despite being set to the highest settings. When we perform the milk part again it does get hot, but still not frothing much - even though setting is on 8. The steam wand has been cleaned numerous times and the machine has been descaled. We are using the supplied milk jug and the censor is clean. Any idea why we are having this issue?

I have an Nespresso Breville BNE500 Creatista Uno which has been reasonably good up until the last month or so. I’m noticing a lot of coffee pouring into the capsule collection bucket instead of my cup, making for a ver weak coffee. I have checked in the area of where the coffee pod sits & can’t visibly see any obvious obstructions to cause issue. Any ideas please. Thks

I tried all sorts of milks, full cream, skinny, long life and not, almond, all brands of soy. Have never gotten that cafe quality creamy milk, nor been able to make art as the milk is watery then has air bubbled froth plopped on top. Anyone been able to get cafe quality?

You can change the milk settings, temperature, amount of froth. We tend to use full cream milk from a local dairy. You may need to adjust your settings.
I have tried all settings as well. You have been able to get creamy milk like from a cafe that doesn't settle and separate as soon as it's in the glass? I haven't been able to once. Thanks

Why am I finding water at the bottom of the machine after use? Its not the drip tray and that has been checked multiple times. Also when the machine is foaming the milk, huge amounts of stream come out from all areas of the machine. Is this normal? I would also like to say this machine was purchased 4 days ago so it should need a clean this early on
1 answer
I have just had the same problem with the steam while the milk is frothing. We bought our machine in Mar'18 so have had it for just over a year. I noticed there is water dripping down into the drip tray while the milk is frothing which is why it is steaming up and that isn't normal. Your's definitely shouldn't be doing that if its brand new.

Hello. My Creatista machine is less than 6 months old. All of a sudden it makes a loud continuous noise and nothing else happens. Do I xontact Nespresso or retailer?
1 answer
I’d say Nespresso. Have you descaled it in the 6 months you’ve had it. If not go to maintenance and follow the instructions, there may be a scale build up. But I’m guessing. I think ringing Nespresso is your best option. Hope they sort it out quickly for you. My daughter had a problem with hers when it was close to a year old. Nespresso replaced it with a new one. So they seem to be pretty good.

My shots are tasting very bitter all of a sudden have had the machine about 4 months any recommendations on how to fix this? Thank you

I’d dry giving it a good clean. If you haven’t descaled it, I’d give that a try and give the steam wand a good clean too.

Sounds like you pod tray is over full with used pods and there’s one stuck under the handle.
I had this issue. I gently forced the lever up
and it forced the pod free then you can remove the tray by by wiggling it out.
I know the handle feels stuck and won’t go
Up any further. But if it’s a stuck pod. It will.
Just gently force it past the stuck point.
Good luck. I did this when I had the same issue and it worked fine. Lesson learnt. Always empty the used pod tray before it fills up.
Hope this helps you out.
Hi Maggie. Spell check! I meant pod! The pod tray was empty..we are at a B+ B and went to make a coffee...the first of our stay. We will gently try and push the lever up but are terrified of breaking anything. Thank you...
If I’ve interpreted this right I think you have a stuck coffee pod. If you can’t jiggle the pod tray out just pull the handle up and it will force the pod through. I know it feels like it’s stuck because I’ve had it happen to me. Just push the handle up slowly till the pod is forced out and try jiggling the full pod tray out as you gently pull up the handle. Hope this helps. It worked for me.

Fred (see below) says . Nespresso said to go to maintenance- clean steam wand and press start. That solved his problem. Failing that try unplugging it from the wall, then plug it back in again. If this fails it might be worth calling Nespresso.
