Best thing I have ever bought
I've had all sorts of coffee machines, including high end, fully manual Italian ones, without a doubt the Oracle is the best one I have ever had, with the in house, white glove service, I was full bottle on the way to use it and look after it, the dedicated Oracle phone line is another bonus

Great coffee, but beware of the after-sales service
First the good: this is a beautiful machine! It is so easy to use and makes a great coffee, consistently. Our Oracle is the most loved and used appliance in our kitchen. Breville's White Glove service means that someone will come to your home and show you how to use the machine and give you tips on how to make a great coffee and clean the machine. Our guide, [name removed], was brilliant!
Now for the bad. Unfortunately, our machine had a leaky water compartment. Nothing major - the water compartment leaked, leaving a puddle of water on our ben...Read more
chtop if we didn't empty the water compartment after each use. We discovered the problem only after sustaining water stains to our stone benchtop. At this stage the machine was 11 months old. We contacted Breville and they arranged for our machine to be repaired under warranty. This is where things went downhill. The nearest service centre was on the north side of Brisbane. The person we were dealing with at Breville never mentioned to us that they can arrange a courier to pick up the machine. This would have been very helpful for us with small children and a heavy machine. Upon delivery to Breville's repairer (Queensland Coffee Machine Sales and Service) we were told that they would have the machine a minimum of 10 business days - longer if parts were required. We waited 9 business days and received an email advising us that parts were required so they would be back in touch when the parts arrived. They did not provide an update as to when it would be available. We followed up a week later (3 weeks at this point) and were told that the technician had discovered another part that was required, which had been ordered from Breville but would further delay the machine.Purchased in November 2021.

Great coffee machine
Overall, I am pretty satisfied with this coffee machine. I use it almost everyday and it is easy to operate. Especially the auto grind/tamp function and the ability to simultaneously perform extraction and milk frothing, it saves me a lot of trouble/time compare to other coffee machines. The coffee it makes is at the right temperature as well. However, I've found inconsistency with the espresso extraction. Using the same coffee beans with the same grinding size/level, the amount of espresso extraction can be very different. Sometimes it's right, sometimes it's over-extracted. Other than this, it is a very good coffee machine for the family.

After two years needing to spend $600 on repairs
Makes a good coffee. We use it at work (only 3 people), we make three coffees a day. After two years it started to give some error messages. Called Breville and they recommended for us to bring the machine to ExpressoFix. They quoted us $460 for repairs. As the machine is out of warranty Breville refused to assist with getting the machine fixed (out of warranty after 3 MONTHS, because it's used at work and not at home). Breville did not once acknowledge that this shouldn't have happened, they basically just said that it is to be expected/normal...Read more
wear and tear as a result of normal usage. I believe that's poor service for a machine that's only 2 years old and we follow all recommended maintenance. So, out of warranty, so good luck to you!!! Thanks BrevillePurchased in July 2021 for $2,700.00.

A perfect wedding gift
Bought this as a wedding gift for my brother. Absolutely loved it. Easy to use and has a lot of settings for everyone's use. There is no standing around holding a jug to froth or steam milk....you just hit the lever and it does it for you with pre-programmed temperature and time! The coffee tastes perfect every time

Love this coffee machine!
I love this coffee machine! I've gone from buying 2 takeaway coffees a day to making them at home. It's so quick and easy, but most importantly the coffee is just as good as a cafe one - better if you invest in really good quality freshly roasted beans (not supermarket beans!) I cant fault this coffee machine, it heats up really quickly, and has all the bells and whistles you could ever need. It looks great (I've got the black sesame model) and it's quick and painless making a coffee for a few people since you can steam milk and extract coffee simultaneously. The built in coffee grinder and tamper save time, and it's just so easy! Highly recommend this coffee machine.

No Regrets - 2 years 3 months broken.. no help from Oracle
This thing costs some major coin, lets not kid about that. My partner and I were very apprehensive spending that much money on a kitchen appliance. We both love coffee always buy coffee from the cafes and hate the waste of paper cups.
We have had the Oracle now for about 8 months and there is ZERO regrets. A lovely lady from Breville came to our house, demoed all the features and most importantly gave us all the cleaning tips (plus some free coffee). We use top quality Allpress beans normally with a steady grind level at 30. Allpress beans ...Read more
cost a bit and if we are feeling tight on funds we are able to use a lesser quality bean, play with the grind level and still manage to get a good coffee out of the Oracle. We no longer waste paper cups, save money in the long run from buying coffee and it works well with steaming Almond milk. So happy with the Oracle! we got this with extended warranty so we are looking forward to the next 6 years of great expresso at home.Purchased in October 2021.

Our Oracle touch [3 months old] operated flawlessly until 3 days ago can no longer produce a well tamped puck Even at grind setting 1 a single shot latte runs for 30 seconds and fills the glass as if for a very weak long Black Grind setting 9 - 8 previously produced a perfect shot for our preferred beans Any advice would be most welcome CJL
