Crash Saver
I can honestly say these tyres saved me from an accident. I had recently purchased 4 new tyres for my car when I was heading to the city in the wet. The car in front of me locked up and hit the car in front od them. I stopped on a dime and the car behind me hit me. Out of 5 cars involved I was the only one not at fault and I owe that to these great wet weather performers.

Going to replace with another set of Bridgestone Turanza ER300!
My original OEM set of Bridgestone Turanza ER300 have lasted 55,000 km and are only now becoming a bit hard and "glassy" with a noticable loss of grip particularly in the wet. They have 2.7mm tread left, but I will be looking at replacing all four shortly. They have provided excellent grip and handling for a FWD car and annual rotation of tyres. Noise levels only increase significantly when up at 100km/h and car has been very economical with them. I usually run them at 35PSI. Strongly recommend them and will replace with another set of the same.

Reliable and good value
Brought and fitted at Kmart Tyres with Costco price match 300 for a pair, never got a better value than that. Tyres are factory original fit with Commodore VE omega and very durable with solid grip, feel safe taken them through heavy rain and rough roads. I have not had any problem so far.

Happy with the performance so far
Got these tyres for my Toyota Camry Hybrid 2010 and have driven 7000 kilometers so far. I am pretty happy with the performance of the tyres so far. They have really nice grip specially in the wet conditions. Noise is also low. I have also got 50k kms warranty on these tyres from Bridgestone so have some peace of mind too.

Normal price, normal performance
The bridgestone Turanza tyres are the tyres most peoplo used, the price is standard through the product line. The performance is normal too, the braking distance might be longer than the prestige one. But anyways, it still a good tyre for daily crusing. They provide run flat tyre as well, I would recommend these tyres to the people have limited budget.

Perfect tyres.
They are really good and reliable tyres. I had put this tyres on my holden commo ve 2010. These tyres are quite on road and haven't got any probs so far driven 10k. Bit expensive than other brands but no compromise with safety and security. Car feels good when driving on all sort of terrains.

Excellent performing
Tyres have longevity without compromising grip. I went to another brand briefly and hated it, straight back to these I went! They perform well in dry and wet weather conditions. I have now gone through about 4 sets of these. The potenza series are excellent also. I'll always be buying bridgestone from now on.

Decent Tyres, No Problems
Bought and fitted at Bridgestone and haven't had a problem, taken them through heavy rain and bad roads, with potholes and the lot with no dramas. Tyres are durable, done 10,000 ks without an issue yet the wear and tear has been minimal. The car does seem less controlled at higher speeds as to my previous tyres

Impressed.
I'm now on my third set of tyres on my 2001 Lexus LS 430. It's a large, heavy, powerful V8. When I bought the vehicle it had a worn out set of rubbish on it so replaced these with Conti MC5's. These were not good tyres, handled poorly (on par with the Chinese stuff the car came with). The Turanza's were OEM equipment on the LS430, so through I'd given them a shot.
Such a serious improvement over the MC5's. The ride is quiet, handing very good and I've done around 40,000km on them. They have about another 5k left in them. Compared with the 18k I got out of the Continentals, I'm extremely satisfied. Good in the wet and dry, I'll be replacing them with exactly the same when these ones wear out.

Good mainstream tyres
I bought a set of these to replace the horrible Kenda things the prior owner had fitted. I do over 1200km a week, sometimes a lot over. Have now just fitted my 3rd set of these in 225/60 after getting 40k out of the last set. Quiet, good braking, acceptable lateral grip and excellent durability (rotate your tyres and get your front end aligned).

Outstanding Tyres
I put a set of Turanza ER300 205/55 R16 tyres on my Corolla after the original set of Dunlops ran out at 47000kms, I've now done 75000kms and will be replacing them with the same ER300 again, brilliant durability. They hold the road, grip well, and handle safely in wet conditions. I would highly recommend them as after investigating, no-one can tell me a passenger tyre that can do this kind of mileage.

Wear out very fast
At my service, my mechanic told me that I need to replace tyres at at the next service. Only done 28,000 km's and I always got around 60,000 kms. I won't recommend this tyre for any large car. Really disappointed with having to replace tyres so soon after paying $700.

Great all rounder with good wet performance
These tyres have good wet performance with emphasis on braking. In terms of life-span they are middle of the road from my experience, and possibly shorter than what people expect for a family car. I think I got around 40,000kms from the last set, and recently got a new set (with some RE002 in between). However to balance that out is great wet weather performance. In terms of noise I think they are pretty good compared to tyres I have had previously.
I also found these tyres made my car more responsive to steering wheel input, over the Dunlops that came on the car originally. At first it was strange but I quickly got used to that, and now prefer to car to turn in the direction I want without any lag.

50,000kms in 5 years - good but......
Hi, I have a Nissan U13 Bluebird Ti auto (1500kg porky front wheel drive 2.4Ltr sedan) with ER300 205/60-15 Turanza's. They have been good, but I must add that two went slightly 'out of round' early in their life (so they can only be used on the rear because they induce a slight wobble if rotated to the front) - I ran 36psi cold when new but set them to 34 now as they are past their best. Unfortunately I picked up a self tapper screw last month (in the best of the front's!!). So, the tyres are 5 y/o, not leaking, still have heaps of tread depth...Read more
, but it's not worth fixing the puncture with the age and the out of round rear's. So, nice tyres, good price back in 2011 ($150ea at Kmart T&A....crap wheel alignment though - went to local Bridgestone agent and fixed that). Would I fit the new Bridgestone T001's today?.....if they could assure me none would go wobbly in the first 20k kms.......maybe the old car doesn't need premium tyres as it enters it's last years....... I'll have a good look around.....though it is nice to drive with sweet handling tyres! (If you have used supercat's you will know what I mean.....).2 comments
Well, as you can see in the photo, I've moved on from the venerable Nissan.... good as it was and running on LPG (better than petrol!), not bad for a 24yo car to be still feeling like new after 240k k... Read more
ms - just a pain getting into and out of the sedan shape..... so the Maxxis tyres settled in nicely after about 5,000 kms (or I got used to them) and I rate them as a very good everyday tyre. I did a couple of longer trips into NSW and had no issues with grip/handling/tyre noise/braking etc...... well pleased with them as an allrounder tyre and they true'd up the speedo error. They would have given huge kilometer's (taxis use them). I bought a new Hyundai Tucson. Now that's a nice riding, quiet car (like the Nissan) but it is heaps easier to step sideways into than slide down into and it gets LPG type fuel running costs due to it's direct injection 2ltr petrol engine and 6sp auto (I average 11-12km/ltr in urban use.... haven't done a long trip but others tell me they get 700+kms to a tank on 91 octane ULP)...... Tucson came with Nexen tyres which are probably equal to the Maxxis...... it's not a sports car so it also doesn't need race grip rubber. I miss my Nissan U13 & Maxxis & LPG, but I love the Tucson!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Great tyres!!
I had a set of 4 for my VW Golf. Got them around 9 months ago for a good price from Tyroola and happy with the purchase. I check tyre pressure every 3000 KM and I'm a pretty aggressive driver, the tyres have been keeping well. I am definitely going to buy them again

Good value for money
I drive a 2010 Honda Civic VTi-L which I purchased new. At 40,000 km and four and a half years the original Bridgestone tyres needed replacing and after a bit of research I found that this tyre had the same pattern as my existing tyres so it matched my spare tyre which had never been on the road. I have now done a further 12,000 km and these tyres look like they are still new. The ride is comfortable and reasonably quiet. I purchased the tyre from Kmart tyre and auto service and I was impressed with the price, $149 each plus $55 for a wheel alignment. On top of that I get free rotation and tyre check every six months.

Great versatile & durable tyre
When I picked up my 2012 Ford Focus Sport (40,300km), the 'original' tyres were old/tired with only about 6K left on the tread. Bridgestone/Tyrepower had a 3 for 4 tyre deal so I bought 4x Turanza ER300's with a slightly lower profile (225/45 17'). The tyres have now done nearly 10K and are equally sound around town or out in the country, dry or wet. I keep my tyres as 38psi (excellent fuel economy) and do wheel alignment/rotation every 4,000km's. A very versatile, all round passenger car tyre (NOT A PERFORMANCE TYRE) for $220.00 each !!

Super Tires!
I got Bridgestone Turanza ER300 225/45 R17 on my (then) new Golf 2013, and I have 32K and they are really like new! I don't know about the issues mentioned above. Super tires! The Golf is imported from Germany, but tires were made in Poland... Of course with German quality standards. Greetings from Mexico City! JF

Excellent Tyre For Intended Purpose. These are not performance tyres.
We put a set of these on our 2011 Honda Insight after the Good Year SP Sports only lasted 35,000Kms of city driving with a little bit of country thrown in. The difference was astounding! We immediately noticed that the car drives much more quietly but the ride has improved noticeably too. Handling is about the same as the SP Sports - good but not great, and just fine in the wet. We've had a car with Pirelli P Zero's fitted and the Bridgestones aren't even close to them - but for a "normal" car, I'm more than happy with them. Treadwear after 5,000Kms is OK. We are so impressed with these, we'll be sticking with them I think.

Follow-up. Have done 27,000 Kms on them now and they only look 50% worn.
Follow-up 2. Have done 40,000Kms on them now and about 60% worn if that. I expect they'll do about 70,000 Kms which is pretty good.
Done 60,000 Kms and they're just about worn out. Will probably get another 5,000 Kms. Not too bad.

How much psi for honda accord ex with turanza tires?
5 answers
Hi Donna, I always run on 32 PSI. I have found with these tyres that I rarely need to top them up with air and when I do check them, they normally require about one or two PSI. Hope this helps.
Thank you Kevin W. I was told 42psi by a mechanic at Pep Boys. I'm not sure where you live but that's a pretty well known place here. I thought it was high so I started searching. I didn't think anyone would take the time to answer. I really appreciate it.
Hi Donna, After buying my 2012 Ford Focus in early 2014, one of the first things I did was to replace the crap tyres that were on the car with Dunlop Turanza's. I've found that 40psi seems to be the ideal pressure for these tyres in both wet & dry conditions. Anything below 36psi & my cars ABS works overtime even under 'moderate' braking conditions. I've also found that they wear less at 40psi. In my opnion, they are a great 'all round' tyre & excellent value for money. p.s. If you get them rotated every 5000km's, they will last a lot longer. I've done 27000km's & the Turanza's still have loads of tread left... Hope this answers your question.

Me again.....decided to put MaxxisMAP1's on as they came with a buy 3 get one free inducement. Nice enough, not as good as the ER300 Turanza's but not far behind and they are on a touring class car..... Read more
.. not a flash sports machine. Speedo has negligible error as Maxxis are more true to their size rating than most brands. They do lack a little feel compared to premium rubber, but I haven't done enough kms to give a better opinion. I'd say right choice for an every day commuter economy tyre, wrong choice if you are a petrol head.......
