We had one of the old Brita jugs, quite a bit larger than this one which we wore out so we bought the 2.4 ltr. Though it doesn't hold as much as our old one it filters so fast it doesn't matter. It is a light weight jug that will fit in the fridge door. love it!
Light, filters fast, attractive, not like the old ugly white ones!
The little water 'door' on the top closes when you have nearly fill it and defeats the purpose of it being 'no touch'

As always Brita make good products that do last. Water filters quicker than the smaller tube filters and the top fill is convenient with less wear and tear on the jug from opening and closing it. The shape can be misleading and the first couple of times it easy to overfill.
Top fill handy, easy to wipe clean, saves on bottled water, great tasting water, easy to find refills at shops.
Bigger version is better, lip of jug does seem delicate, easy to overfill and fall off when you clean the life.
