Beware - will stop working after 12 months and a nightmare to maintain.
I purchased and installed the Brita WD3020 in August 2018.
Initially, it was working fine in terms of water pressure and purity. We had some problems installing the actual tap, as the fitting was loose and very awkward to tighten. We engaged a plumber off the street to fix this, and it was all good.
In August 2022 it started significantly losing pressure. We again called a random plumber and they re-assembled the unit, stating that the PLV was perhaps not allowing as much pressure as it should. They just cleaned it out and blew through it, af...Read more
ter which pressure was improved. In November, pressure again dropped to a new low. Even worse, it started to leak. Luckily we noticed before the water damage got too bad! All this time we were replacing the cartidges at around $80 AUD a pop. We call in a plumber again and they tighten things up, but can't resolve the pressure issue. At this stage we have spent $300+ on plumbers and it's still broken. So at the end of November we engage Brita. They ask for photos of the installation and the receipt. Of course, it was out of warranty, so we just asked for support anyway to see what they can do. The support staff quickly jumped to the conclusion that the issue was with the PLV, so we ordered a replacement for $90. Unfortunatelty, after replacing this, the problem persisted. After reporting back to Brita support, they just pretend to show some empathy and ask for more photos.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Rubbish
Poorly designed, over priced rubbish. The internal plastic tube on the filtered side has now split twice and Brita aren't too interested in repair or recompense. Avoid, avoid, avoid, avoid.
Purchased in December 2021 for A$399.00.

Brita WD 3030
The only thing I could say that once installed the dispenser started leaking from spout, bottom and tap. I bought it from Bunnings. I will contact Brita to see outcome.

Update.
I have contacted Brita they were quite helpful; they asked to fill the form to start a warranty claim. However, I have exchange it for exactly the same from Bunnings. They were also very helpful and quick to support me. They just asked what is the problem etc. and offered full refund or other brand product or like for like r...Read more

Unfortunately there is no zero star option - leaks and ruined kitchen units
Bought this item April 2014. It suffered the same failure experienced by most of the other reviewers; regular, unfiltered water started coming out of the filter outlet on the tap. Brita were good and replaced the entire tap and pipework at their cost on August 2015 by plumbers contracted through Brita.
I got home today to find the flexible braided hose (Brita supplied) from the cold feed to the filter housing had sprung a leak. This has gone unnoticed until the floor at the front of the cabinet was wet from the water pouring out of the cabin...Read more
et. Result - the carcass of the cabinet is waterlogged and swollen and the vinyl wrap on the carcass has started to blister and lift. The hose is a special Brita item designed to fit their cartridge; not something I can buy in Bunnings for a few dollars. No sign of spares on the Brita website. So, Brita, > Do I now pay $500 for another poor quality Brita tap and wait for the same thing to happen again? > Will you give me another low Brita quality tap as a replacement and wait for the same thing to happen again? > Will you recompense me for the damage to my kitchen? You haven't replied to anyone on here, so I don't expect that I'll be special...1 comment

Terrible
We have had our Brita3020 for two years now and after it started spurting water 12 months ago we got a new replacement part fitted to rectify the issue. However it seems that Brita could not be bothered to fix the fault and have apparently replaced the original faulty part with the same defective piece. So here we are at the end of two years with water spurting everywhere for the second time. Looks like Brita and I are in for a fun conversation.

Just a poor product. AVOID !!
As with many other reviews, my tapset was professionally installed by a licensed plumber. After 5 months water now sprays out of the filtered tap water nozzle when it should not.
Also... really difficult to find product dimensions on the BRITA website !!!
I had read about this issue before purchasing but had hoped BRITA would have fixed the fault or made a minor re-engineering work to resolve it. Clearly they did not.

Disappointed with britta
We bought this tap 10 months ago and a cpl of weeks ago the tap started leaking. We contacted harvey norman and they told us to contact brita. They wanted many photos which we supplied last week a fairly rude email today saying if it's our fault we will need to pay for the plumber!
As we have already explained on the phone and sent evidence of problem. How can it be our fault if the tap, which was on special for 300 bucks, is leaking and was professionally installed.
Not impressed at all with brita so far. Meanwhile another week with a useless
kitchen tap and every time we wash up ... the kitchen is flooded.

Water running through filter tap after 3 months of use. (same issue as the others)
So after my second correct installation of this expensive tap ($400). I have the same issue I had with the first Brita 3 way tap I purchased. I would recommend staying far away from this tap. Hopefully I can get an actual refund this time.

Same problem as everyone else - but Brita did fix it.
I love this tap. It looks stylish, and initially works well (you do get the odd drip out of the water filter spout when you turn on the main tap). However, like most other reviews, it did fail after about 11months of use. The internal plastic tube split at the bend. In Brita's defence, they did send a Plumber to replace the faulty part very efficiently.
Hopefully they have now fixed this issue, and I would assume that new taps will have the new part in them - you would want to contact Brita prior to purchasing though. Note that in reporting the issue to Brita, I did advise them that the tap was not installed by a Plumber, and they still fixed it - as it was not a fault of the installation, but a faulty part.

Assembly instructions incomplete
Taps, fitting all there, Underfittings to tap too awkward to install, properly, similar units have extended tightening below fixture level, confirming snug fit.
To the first time handyman sequence of securing fittings must not be fitted after extention lines in.
This is neither shown or explained, dismantle, dismantle, then reassemble. Several items hanging off three water lines. Juggle to have no hassle fitting.
The plastic block underneath tap head is of one shape and does not fit all sink types, modifying to fits causes tap fixture to flex stainless steel sink. Tap head not properly supported.

The Brita tap leak, essentially solved
An explanation and fix for all the common complaints reported. Having had the same problem. Three times, two replacements then finally a replaced tube, December 2016. Essentially as some have suspected, as I did, the internal filter side plastic tube developed a split. its design fault ! A straight plastic tube is being made to go through an almost 90 degree bend, a split forms and system fails. A new designed tube has been re-manufactured with a built in (moulded) crimped corner making the desired bend workable thus taking away the stress on...Read more
the tube. Not rocket science! Brita rep advised all Brita parts have a fault g'tee for life. For such an expensive tap ($500) more info should have come from Brita. Not much point in having a phone efficient Service Dept if they are not kept in the problem solving loop. Although at no cost, much frustration and time wasted..... October 26th 2017 Update: Not much testing or thought went not the design.. I wrote a very favourable review when first purchased the 3020 sink tap filter in 2014. (Dicky D) Frustratingly been fixed twice since then. Just went again today. This time I pulled the thing apart myself and fixed it. No need to turn the water off. The problem is and has always been the plastic tube from the filter side. The initial problem was that the tube required a proper hard plastic bend installed internally at the internal outlet. The tube prior to that was simply bent and developed a kink/weakness. With on/off use the kink develops a weak spot and all you needed is a pin hole to form, which fractures into a larger hole and the whole thing is stuffed. To fix, turn the tap of at the normal sink level and take the main outlet spout off. To do that ... Unscrew the Chrome base collar by hand, lift the ring collar up and carefully remove the exposed grub screw at the rear the holds the spout section in place. The top spout can now easily be removed containing the the leaking plastic tube. Be careful in dislodging the hard brown plastic fitting holding the tube into the internal base center of the tap. That pulls straight up. Held in by O ring seals. You now should have the top tap spout in your hand free of the base with the filter tube still inside. Remove the Chrome filter cover outlet (screws off). The nylon fitting held in by an O ring will be exposed underneath. Before you do anything else remove the hard plastic fitting from the other end of the plastic tube, put it aside, pull the tube free through the top opening. Test the tube by closing one end and blow into a glass of water. You will see the fracture (leak). It will usually be at the exit end, near the rigid plastic curved piece. You may be able to cut the fractured piece away and still achieve enough length to reinstall. To remove the tube off the hard plastic piece soak in hot water for a minute or so. Make sure the cut is clean, not jaggard as new fractures may start. Installation is the reverse of the above. If the tube is too short then visit your local hardware store with the plastic tube as the sample. You will need a tube close to the specifications of the original. A meter would be plenty to do the job a couple of times if the problem arises again. It took me 10 minutes to do the job today. But I had some knowledge of assembly. It's not rocket science, you don't need a Plumber and for the trouble this few cents piece of plastic tube has caused for such an over the top expensive sink unit the manufacturer should be ashamed. I hope my instructions are clear enough. I have taken the cartridge out to inspect during my desperate era when I didn't have a clue what was causing the problem (neither did they at the time). That's not so difficult either. I was on the verge of throwing the whole unit in the garbage today. Glad I didn't but would not recommend anyone to buy. You do lose cold water pressure and the filter takes its time to fill a receptacle.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Disappointed with The taps
Had the Tap installed back in Jan 2016, then start to leak after 1 month.
Brita sent me a replacement tap and to ensure that pressure limiter valves is installed properly.
Then 12 months after that (Jan 2017) hot water started to leak in the filter tap.
Now trying to get a replacement tap from Brita.
I think this tap has caused me more problems, as typical kitchen taps should last 10 years.
But it is handy to have instant access to filtered water, I guess now I have to use my old Brita Jugs.

Expensively disappointing :(
I just installed a WD 3020 for my new house and it has the same problem. Emailed Brita and waiting for their feedback now. Brita, you've ruined your reputation and my kitchen :(

Really not satisfied
Was great for first few months until it started to leak. Water now sprays everywhere from the filter outlet when using the unfiltered outlet, and it leaks when using the filtered water too. Also, the handle has come off a few times. Have emailed Brita and sent photos as they requested, but have heard nothing further from them.
The tap was fitted by a professional plumber.

Useless tap
Had two that have broken within a couple of years. Sprays water from filtered water outlet when normal tap turned on. Expensive tap that just doesn't work properly. Will be not buy Britta again

Looks good but it leaks
This tap looks good and ticks the boxes but it is useless to me when both the first and replacement both leak. Sprays unfiltered water out of the filtered outlet.
Edit: As it turns out it did have a design fault, a faulty part and poor material choice. Brita has sent me a replacement part but have done their best to hide the fact or admit it has a fault. Poor customer service. I've had to remove the tap several times now after it sprays water all over my kitchen. The tap has been replaced by another brand at my expense.

Leaks after 12 months
Same issue as other people. Given the price of this unit having a broken tap after 12 months is woeful. I don't know where this tap is sourced from but it looks very similiar to taps on aliexpress (straight from china with a huge markup)

6 months...
6 months till failure seems to be a norm. Unfiltered water splash from drinking outlet, checked the O-ring seal, it appear to fit snug tight. Likely a cracked inner tube as suggested.

A good idea but rubbish due to faults
Looks like I have similar problems as everyone else that has this tap. Original tap was faulty out of the box and was replaced by Brita, my second tap has now been in for about 6 months and just started spraying everywhere at full pressure out of both nozzles.

Leaks after 8 months
We've had ours replaced 3 times now. We're due for a new one. It sprays water everywhere again. It must be costing brita a fortune to send a plumber and a new tap everytime. It's very poor quality.
Edit:It was eventually replaced with an updated model which is fine. We should have asked for this earlier.
Their customer care/warranty is easy to deal with, just the product was faulty. All good now.
Purchased in January 2021.
