So dissapointed!
As everyone knows it's expensive which isn't a problem but it is when after 8 months the steering gets tough and hard to steer!!!!
Isn't good for all terrain only good for flat easy surfaces!
I feel as though my first one 7 years ago lasted much better and longer then my new one!
So disappointing!!!!!

Amazing pram
I do you love the bugaboo I think it is extremely comfortable for my baby and it is very versatile having both a bassinet and a seat.
The only downside I have is when holding it down to put in the car it takes up a lot of space.
It is easy to manoeuvre and very comfortable over all different surface types.
It is light weight and also easy to put together. I find it great that itsI find it great that its easy to wash as all the main pieces come off and can go straight into the machine.

Its great!
So light! So easy to turn, can with one hand and great turning circle. Easy to pull apart for a wash
Only negative is that I stopped using it for a year and when i used it the next time and tried to put the brake on it snapped! All the wires!

Still going after 12years!
This pram was originally my brothers. He bought it in 2007. He used for his daughter. We have used it for our 4 children. In a day and age where nothing lasts, we have absolutely loved the quality of this pram. It is incredibly strong. We have used it for carrying airport luggage, multiple children in the bassinet at the zoo and for market shopping with the kids. It is looking a little worn now, but functionally it is still going strong!
To answer the questions:
1. It operates best on smooth surfaces. If rough terrain, Ive just dragged the pram behind me with large wheels first
2. Suspension is great
3. Pretty comfortable. They enjoy sleeping in it

Overrated
I purchased this second hand after hearing nothing but good things about it.
The carrier is terrible!!! It barely fits anything, stuff falls out and it drags on the ground if you dont get the Velcro attachments in the right place.
You also have to kneel right down to put stuff in it. Annoying as also have to take it off the pram to fit it into the boot.
Definitely overrated and I cannot believe such a well designed pram has such a poorly designed carrier bit.

I’ve had the bugaboo chameleon 3 for 20 months now. With my first child I had a steel craft agile and for the money I spent on the agile, it was definitely more affordable and user friendly than the chameleon. I told myself, with the second child, I wanted a bugaboo. The only thing about the chameleon is that it looks appealing. If only I’d waited a few months longer, the Bugaboo Fox was then released which is the modified version of the chameleon. I only like that the wheels have suspension, which makes rough surfaces smoother to go over but that’s about it with the chameleon. I don’t know why people like it so much.
I was gifted this pram for my 2nd child and I feel bad for the money spent on it as we can’t wait to pass it on. Apart from how it looks, and its nice smooth ride, it’s honestly got little to recommend it. It is so incredibly bulky and heavy - I have an SUV and it takes up the entire boot. The basket underneath is almost inaccessible when you’re using the bassinet, and the contents fall out as it flips over when you collapse the pram.

he canopy hood extending). We purchased a replacement canopy because I wasn’t a fan of the colour that was chosen for us and it sits flimsily even though properly installed. Most actions on the pram require two hands. You can’t hang a bag off it without a heavy carabiner hook. The stroller settings are awkward - at fully upright bub is almost falling out, and when lying back their feet are in the air. I also find the stroller seat small compared to say a Maclaren. It has so many attachments and parts I find it really cumbersome. So many people love this pram so I guess I’m in a minority, but there are other prams that cost less and don’t come with these annoying quirks.Purchased in March 2021.

Wish I done more research before buying this pram
Not happy with this pram at all especially after all the good reviews i had read, I was expecting a lot more for the price. en you fold the pram everything falls out of the basket. I had purchased different hoods for it and they look and sit very flimsy, not tight and firm making it look like a cheap doggy pram. When using the stroller seat the positions are all very awkward, its either too far forward or too far back, when its in the most up right position the canopy hangs so far forward that you can't see bub and he looks as though his going to fall out, then in the next recline position which seems to far back that his little neck strains from holding his head forward trying to see out its so far back like his semi lying making the sun forever in his face, then the next recline which is lying position the seat tilts back so his legs are raised higher than his head. I just wish i done my research and test drove before I paid $1500 to have such an unconventional pram, Now only 10 months later with baby no.2 on the way can not wait to sell this pram and purchasing a different brand double pramPurchased in November 2021 at David Jones for $1,500.00.

Not happy with the service
Good pram but not happy with the service. We bought the pram a year ago and didn’t know that we have to register online to get extra one year warranty. No one told us to do it online. So last two days we send an email to bugaboo to request for the extra warranty. And they refused to extend it for me. Very disappointed as we are very royal customer. We bought 2 Prams and cost us nearly $3000.

Excellent pram that worth every penny!
Amazing Pram. We bought it in 2007 for our first baby and 12 Years later still sturdy as and very reliable. It lasts us for 4 kids the eldest is 11y.o now and the youngest is 8 m.o.
Easy to maneuver, light and pretty compact compare to the other prams we owned.

All the bells and whistles and attractive to boot
For our first baby we wanted to buy a top-of-the-line pram, and I'll be honest, it had to look good as well. As pram newbies our criteria was simple- can we fold it down with minimal assistance from the sales representative in store? The bugaboo cameleon 3 plus won the battle.
Although there were some other options which were easy to fold (some even with a one-hand fold), the cameleon actually attracted us with its two parts (the bassinet or infant fabric, and the pram base). This was because as a fairly petite female I found many of the one-...Read more
fold prams too heavy to lift easily. The cameleon 3 plus is a solid, well-made product. It was the newest version out when we purchased it at the beginning of the year, and there were a lot of competitive pricing deals on as a result to promote the upgrade. The entire pram can be configured in many different ways, and very easily- the handle can be flipped forwards or backwards and the bassinet/seat chassis attached either way. This is achieved by pressing handy click-in buttons on the side. This also means that you can have the larger wheels facing forwards (for any "off-roading") or at the back for traditional setup. I believe the suspension can also be adjusted, too. It has performed well taking to the shops or out on walks on the footpath and occasionally on the grass. The bar across the bassinet/seat also clicks off to the side for easy removal of bub. I felt very secure taking my newborn out in this pram as she had a fully-flat bassinet she could sleep in (which could be detached when we were visiting friends as a portable bed), and the canopy can unzip to fold very far down giving a lot of protection. She fell asleep easily in it, and is also comfortable now we have changed to the seat chassis (which can also be laid flat if desired so baby can sleep-again, a simple button adjustment at the sides). Minor issues but not dealbreakers: 1. With the bassinet attached, it is quite difficult to store much or access the basket at the base- I believe this has been somewhat improved since the last model but you still wouldn't fit much in there 2. The bassinet does take up a lot of space in the back of a hatchback. It can be collapsed, but is a bit more effort and I wouldn't routinely do it. However, once changed to the seat chassis it takes up a lot less space. 3. After collapsing the pram, there is no way I can find to "lock" the components in place so the base doesn't fold itself open again when you lift it up. This is easily rectified once you know to grab several of the bars at the same time when lifting.Purchased in January 2021 at Baby Bunting for $1,200.00.

We love our Bugaboo
It was a big deal choosing a pram! We definitely made the right choice when we purchased the Cameleon. It is smooth durable and easy to fold. We used it for both our kids. Took the pram several times overseas and its still in good conditions!

Fantastic pram if your starting a family, comfortable and safe for your child great suspension no need to pump wheels,

Had this for our first born. It was fantastic, great wheels making it easy to get over things eg. bumps on paths, rocky terrain, even sand on the beach.
