The cameleon3 bassinet fabrics can fit the cameleon 2007, however they do differ slightly with the depth of the bassinet.

The bugaboo cameleon3 carry handle is not compatible with prior models as it attaches differently. The underseat basket is compatible with older models, the leather look upgrades are not.

Given the age, The bugaboo cameleon 1st generation chassis is no longer available. The cameleon3 chassis is not compatible with the cameleon 1st generation. Sorry about that.

Hi Anne-Marie, Thank you for your question. The seat fabric and underseat basket for the Bugaboo Cameleon 1st edtion were different to the 3rd addition, so it will not be compatible, however the canopy would fit.

The bugaboo cameleon3 bassinet will fit onto a cameleon 2007 seat frame. However the depth of the bassinet will be slightly different.

How can I tell if I have a Bugaboo Cameleon, or a Bugaboo Cameleon 3? Also, are the fabric sets across all Cameleon's cross-compatible? Also, the canopies on Cameleon's are not extendable - is that correct? And finally, do canopies from any of the other models fit the Cameleon range?

Hi Pockets,
Please send an image of your front wheels, or your serial number to our service team at [email protected] and they will be able to help decipher which bugaboo cameleon you have. The fabric sets are not cross compatible with the cameleon models as a whole, however some fabrics are. Again feel free to enquire with our service team. The cameleon3 has both a non-extendable canopy and also an extendable canopy available for purchase. You can find the non-extendable on our outlet. The cameleon canopy is not compatible with any other bugaboo model. I hope this helps.
