Contaminated fuel
Filled up with PREMIUM Diesel at Wests rd, Werribee and had nothing but problems 100kms into the tank.
Changed fuel filter which was black with all weird types of crap through it that we put into a jar and will show Caltex.
Funny how there is only Premium Diesel at the car pumps with no other alternative...
Avoiding that place and telling everyone else to do so also..

On Sunday the 15th April your petrol sites had a special of buy any one powerade for $2.50. Your Victoria Point site had none. According to the operator the manager forgot to order. Very poor performance. They also had holes in stock everywhere. This manager needs a lesson in ordering.
Staff refused to key in the barcode saying he is not authorised.
I visited Caltex Huntingdale today at around 8:40pm and fill the diesel. When I went to the counter the staff was not friendly and when I gave him the key ring scanner for the discount petrol it did not scan and I requested him if he can key in but he refused saying that he is not authorised which did not seem right to me. The staff name is [name removed]. Looks like he was not interested in working there as he did not show any interest in helping.
Poor customer service...

Pay at pump failure
Went to the Carseldine Caltex tonight to fuel my car, decided to use pay at the pump as there was a storm and the line up to the register was fairly long, put my payment through successfully. All was good, but then when I went to start pumping fuel the transaction was cancelled. I thought this was strange so I checked my account through online banking and there it was, the money had been taken out. I filled my car up and went to the counter to ask what I should do and they told me to pay AGAIN and that the original payment MIGHT be refunded. I

Good job Caltex charging customers twice for their fuel only to have your employees throw it back in your face. purchased diesel from Kambah garage last week. fuel filter light came on yesterday.
there is water in the diesel. I'm trying to contact woolworths and Caltex now to see there response.

This servo is the pits. Staff are the pits. Want a pay@pump there so I dont have to go inside and pay. The more self-service we go the better to eliminate rude and unco-operative staff.
Smoke and fire
I went to a caltex service station at davey street hobart, where upon entering the attendant was outside having a cigarette, whilst cars are filling up. Customers had to wait for him to come in to be served and pay for their fuel, and when he was questioned about the hazards of what he was doing, he got abusive.

Don't trust them.
I left my car this morning for e-safety inspection at the caltex mechanic shop in St Ives. I had already checked lots of items which need to be checked in the e-safety inspection, (I was an industrial mechanic in earlier life ;-) so I had checked the good working original wiper blades. When I got my car back he had replaced them with cheap 2-3$ wiper blades and charged me 40$. I went back a few minutes later and asked for the old ones. He could't find them!
Fuel Caltex Woolworth
I went to buy a Fuel for my Lawnmover with red plastic 10-liter Container, and there is a mark on the top of the container
and I filled-up 8 and a half to 9 liters but on the meter, it was already over 11 liter and I went in-to pay and ask the lady but she said you must-be spilled on the ground. I told her to come and have a look but there are few people in the line so I paid and forget about. that means we are paying price for 1-liter but getting 8 and a half or 9 milliliters only. It's very common in India but never expected in Australia. I hope and wish ACCC will go there and check it out.
Poor quality
I am a local person fill up my car here at least once a week and today I found that Unbelievable that low quality United branded petrol sells under Caltex name (4 Jan 2018, 11.30pm Boundary road, Braeside Victoria)

Polluted petrol
Three weeks ago I filled my car at the lavington petrol outlet. Five days later the engine light came on. When my meachanic checked it with his computer it stated the problem was a fuel sensor and the fuel was running lean. Another week and the problem reoccured. I had the fuel filter which was completely blocked replaced. I was told there was probably another problem because the engine light was on again. I now have more expenses to get the problem fixed. When I filled my car there was a fuel tanker filling up the tanks at the service outlet.

Gympie Woolworths Ripp-Off
Did usual shopping at Woolworths Southside and went to one of Woolworths Petrol outlets in Gympie to fill up. Petrol Prado holds 180 litres but only needed about 150 to fill. Started filling before i looked at the price on the bowser (price not visible till bowser starts). Shocked to see 139.9 cents when i had seen other local 'cheap' outlets selling Unleaded for less than 120 cents. Now, I usually don't buy from the cheap brands but this rang alarm bells. The one I started at is the only one on that side of the highway all through town and to the north for 15km. Taking advantage of the situation? Blatant RIPP-OFF WOOLWORTHS! Poor Quality Fuel costs thousands to fix
My vehicle sustained damage from Caltex Vortex fuel, verified by mechanics report, repairs and 5 weeks off the road and a bill of over $2,000 to fix. Caltex gave me claim number and then gave me the run around for 6 months. Eventually saying they did a report on the day I filled up verifying fuel quality was ok. They failed to explain why that took 6 months or how they miraculously went back in time to test the fuel or explain how it wasn't their fuel when I've filled up at the same service station exclusively for 2 years. It is thought tha
... Read moret the damage came from their poor quality fuel over a period of time, not the same as contaminated fuel. They also refused to provide the report or acknowledge my kms, service history and fuel receipts + mechanics report proving it was poor quality fuel and I'd only ever used Caltex Vortex. They also failed to provide their quality testing report - if their version of events is true then why not provide it? I say its because it doesn't exist and they know I can't fight them without it. I will never shop at Caltex or any Woolworths retailer again… and that is a long list… its one thing when things go wrong, its another not to rectify this for the customer and pretty much behave in such a way that says we know it was our fuel, you know it was our fuel but you know what your a little customer and we are a big company so we just are just going to make it impossible for you and you can suck it. What a great business motto, lets spend more time and money stiffing the customer than it would actually take to do the right thing and pay up. I use BP ultimate now.Perfect

Caltex star cash gift cards, whilst being a good idea as a gift or incentive has no customer service attached.
The card does not look like a real gift card, no pin, no signature stripe, and no expiration date. But the fine print will tell you that it expires 12 months from purchase, but when you win one and have no idea when it was purchased it's bad luck if you don't use it.

I previously requested Woolworths put a sign at the Lanyon Petrol Station in Tuggeranong ACT, stating Vortex 98 is only available at the rear pumps. To date nothing has been done.
Due to the lack of signage drivers expect cars to follow the social rule of pulling up to the front pump, when you can’t do this because your petrol is only at the back pump you get abused. Many times the bowser either does not click over or nothing happens at all.
