I have asked about the 12 month insurance as opposed to normal 24 month insurance on camera and got response from CCC. I am just wondering if anyone else had any concerns about only receiving 12 months warranty?

Hi Deb, there is a risk with not having the manufacture warranty, but I am willing to take it given the camera body I purchased has been around for a while. Most electronics are either doa or work for years in my experience. If it does go bad Beyond 12 months you can just suck it up and pay for the repair. hope this helps. David A....

We are also dealers for Extended warranty plans from Mack Cam and Consumer Priority Service (CPS).

The way a lot of our customers look at their purchase decision is, with our item prices, after adding a 2 or 3 years Mack or CPS plan, if we are still saving them money, then it's a pretty simple decision.

The way extended warranty work is very simple, they just pay for official service centre repairs anywhere in the world.

Both Mack and CPS plans are fully insurance underwritten, and have been operating for many years (30+ for Mack Cam), and they both offer worldwide coverage for no extra cost.

You can also transfer the residual plan period to a new owner for an admin fee. Which enhances the re-sell value down the track.

do you sell on eBay?

Michael L.CCC Warehouse

No we don't list on eBay. eBay adds 6~8% listing fee depending on item category. So it's not worth the extra costs. We accept PayPal which offers exactly the same buyer protections as buying on eBay.

do you usually have deals on End of Financial Year? thanks

1 answer
CCC Warehouse
Michael L.CCC Warehouse

We prefer to keep things simple with everyday low price policy. This way our customers won't need to watch out for when to buy something they want. After all "sales" are a retail gimmick, everyone pay then same staff wages, rent, electricity costs before the sale, and during sale. If they can afford the lower price at a certain time, then should be able to offe that at other times, and play less games with customers.

I bought a Tamron 100-400mm lens in April 2018 but now some of the writing on the lens has worn away. Why is this happening and will all the writing eventually vanish?

Maybe google your lens and see if this is a common issue. This really would not have anything to do with a supplier unless you seek a warranty claim under Australian Consumer Law. Try contacting CCC Warehouse to see if they can assist (I have no affiliation with CCC Warehouse whatsoever)

The website is very specific about returns with instructions. I have not had the need to return any goods so I cannot comment other than CCC does have a return policy.

Yes. There is a 100% return policy

Read the policies that are clearly on the website. As said already, there are very clear and specific conditions of purchase and they are very very easy to deal with. Not many companies can boast a 5 star rating on ieatwords either. Says something.

I assume that you are thinking that from the labels on the camera and box pealing, the camera might be a counterfeit one? Go to CCC Warehouse's counterfeit policy, get it checked by Canon and if it is counterfeit CCC Warehouse will give you your money back. Contact Michael and discuss this with him, he is very helpful and will do the right thing to resolve your concerns.

They are grey imports, genuine brand destined from the manufacturer destined to other countries but my camera is a genuine Nikon with a serial number.

Being a grey import does not remove the brand name. A Nikon is a Nikon. A Canon is a Canon. They are genuine. There are no copies of high end cameras. China hasn't got that going yet :)

I bought a Nikon D810 and noticed some spots on the sensor that looked like oil spots (a known issue with this camera). Contacted CCCW at around 10:30pm - yes - 10:30PM. Got a speedy reply within minutes. It was suggested I take the camera to Nikon in Melbourne for a sensor clean, and CCCW will reimburse me once I submit the receipt to them. After 5 amazing purchase experiences with this company, I have no doubt whatsoever that these guys would reimburse me the $100-$200 for the sensory clean. As it turns out, I’ll clean the sensor myself, as it’s part of photography life if you’re going to get serious in this hobby or profession. Have no fear about warranties.
