Have just purchased a hyundai tucson that i was assured had been fully safety checked, on the way ho
Today I purchased a vehicle from western Auto auctions, on the 600km drive home the motor lost power twice and I also noticed a crack in the windscreen, I had been assured this vehicle had been fully mechanically and roadworthy checked, not happy Jan
Ate my $500 deposit after checking the car to be defective
I was wanting to purchase a Mercedes Benz C200 that had 100k on the clock and during test driving I noticed that the car steering will not return-to-centre. I want to get it checked out before anything but they said mechanical checking can only happen after placing the deposit of $500 dollars. I did and I got the car checked out at my local mechanics. It turns out that the car does have a defective steering. I want to get the Mercedes dealer in Orange to check it out but the seller said it cannot leave Bathurst to get it checked. I then promptl
... Read morey wanting my money back because the car is not as advertised. The bogan salesman claimed that they don't think it's defective and that they have a mechanic who worked for Mercedes for one year said there's nothing wrong. Hm.... I wonder why Merc only let the mechanic work for one year and don't want him anymore... TL;DR, Don't do business with them. Ate my $500 deposit despite clear violation of their promised terms.
Not as advertised or described
Bought a vehicle from this company, I live out of the area so I took salesman rick’s word that car was in immaculate condition. When car was delivered found about 4 smallish dints on passenger side and a big gouge in the driver door. These had been photoshopped out of advertisement pictures. Also advertised as having towing pack but tongue wasn’t there. Poor after sales service don’t want to help after making sale. Happy with car apart from those cosmetic faults. Guess I was stupid for taking salesman’s word and not visually inspecting vehicle myself!
Selling unroadworthy cars
These guys will rip you off. I have spent 6 thousand dollars on the car since I've bought it and now requires another 4 thousand to get passed again they use bodgy mechanics (jax tyres orange) to pass cars that never go up on hoists half the accessories listed weren't on the car and now I'm stuck with the biggest piece of junk on the road these people should be charged for endangering the lives of people who buy from them and the general public.

Dodgy vehicle right down to the duct tape.
Purchased a ford territory 12 months ago, within 6 weeks of purchase central locking failed. Door trims all loose and upon inspection were duct taped from inside as screw eyelets were all damaged. All power windows have had to be replaced . Now up for $4000 to get it through rego as front and rear bushes are broken. Mechanic suggested that this would have been blatantly obvious if they had actually performed a check on it.
Worst car i have ever owned. Paid well over $2k over the market value.
These people take advantage of low income earners.
WARNING: Do not deal with this company unless you really need to
WARNING: Do not deal with this company unless you really have to... here is a message which I have just sent to the owner: Dear [name removed] and [name removed]
I wish to lodge a formal complaint against your sales manager [name removed] for the manner in which he spoke to me over the phone today. In particular, I do not consider that in any circumstances should a customer, who is only seeking to clarify information, be bullied, intimidated and sworn at (f-bomb) and then called names and hung up on.
I find his behavior deplorable and
... Read moreI draw this to your attention, as I have found the level of service from both you and [name removed] to be outstanding. There is no excuse in my opinion for a car salesperson to seek further money from the customer, after the car is paid for in full - through coersion or any other means. The purpose of this email is to request a written (email) apology from [name removed] for the manner in which he spoke to me and hung up on me when I politely asked him to complete his obligations under the contract of sale. Regards, Nigel.Would never buy from them again
Well I brought this car from central west autos in orange. They want to move my car from my machine as they think his to dear. They want to send car to there machine that's an hour away to fix. It's been a big fight to get this sorted. Now car is out of Rejo. They won't answer me or machine or fair treading. This is so wrong. So now I'm saving money so I can take them to court. Never buy a car threw them. They say they'll fix but don't.
Wont return deposit
I had planned to travel from the ACT to these people. I paid a deposit to keep a vehicle for me. Shortly after i arranged this i found out i couldnt in fact buy the vehicle. I rang them and they said that was fine and i would get my deposit back. I am still waiting for the deposit to be returned. I have lodged a claim with Fair Trading.
Do not trust these people and dont give them any money
Faulty car and incorrect info!!!!!
well, I should have read these reviews before buying a car here, but so we all learn expensive lessons in life right?
we bought a car 2 weeks ago from them in NSW and had to buy a new turbo for it last week for $1000, wanting to register the car in a different state today as we are not in NSW, just to find out that the guy who sold the car to us never gave us the right info regarding the registration of the car in a different state and it will now cost another $1200 to get it registered.
He told us how to register the car in a very nice an
... Read mored easy way just to get rid of the car, car was even sent to us from NSW free! the guy also never told us the the RWC done in NSW will not be valid in a diffferent state. So he took advantage of the fact that we could not get to there to inspect the car and also because we havent been in Australia that long (we are not familiar with all the rules in different states yet) I hope a lot of people read these reviews before deciding to do business with this companyFind out how Central West Auto Auctions compares to other Car Dealerships

Very happy with my Territory
Purchased a Territory on line as I live in Hobart. Relied on description and info given from my salesman Rick. All good, great communication and very happy with vehicle and delivery arrangements.
Rip offs selling dangerously faulty vehicles
Brought a car, within 2 weeks a major fault which caused loss of brakes. The issue would have been an obvious one to the mechanics they employ. Currently going through DFT and ACCC to have the car repaired. Blocked on facebook from messaging or contacting the page. Useless and disgusting company ripping people off tens of thousands of dollars.
High annual rates!
Stumbled across their advertisement on Facebook I have been keeping my options open and looking around so I thought I'd apply as their rates advertised were very low.
Look elsewhere they do not disclose the interest rates straight out but advertise online very low interest rates and underplay their rates and say their rate is only 20% and is very low compared to many other lenders (5.99%, 7.88% etc) is a very big difference to 20% I don't know if the people working in the finance department is educated enough to understand the difference or
... Read more they have no clue about the environment of their job. Please be aware they do not pick up their calls when you need to contact them. Seem dodgey, unprofessional and unreliable but a good place for easy finance for those hard on luck so big ups to them, but if you are not desperate and smart please look elsewhere and save your time. No way will I be accepting a 20% rate what a jokeFind out how Central West Auto Auctions compares to other Car Dealerships

Looking To Buy A Car? Don't Look Here!
I bought a Ford Falcon from this dealer on January 30, and had the transmission/cooling systems die on me just days later (coolant in the transmission, transmission fluid in the cooling system!).
From what the mechanic told me today this had been developing for a while, despite numerous assurances from the salesman that the car was mechanically roadworthy, and that it had received a roadworthy certificate..
Lots of "sorry my friend" but no acceptance of any responsibility. That's not looking after the customer!
While the dealer is not
