Affordable pyrolytic oven
If my budget allowed of course I would buy high end products, but I do have a budget, and this oven was on sale at the Good Guys, making the purchase price even more attractive.. Nobody likes cleaning ovens so I took a punt on this Chef oven which I understand is manufactured in Australia (a good thing) and I couldn't be happier with the functionality and performance. I think it is a great value oven and I highly recommend this brand and model.

Should the oven shut down during the pyro clean?
One hour into the 2 1/2 hr cycle mine shut down completely, no lights, fans or anything.
Everything else in the house is working & circuit breaker did not throw out either.

That doesn’t sound good. I’ve only needed to use the pyro function twice and neither time did it shut down mid clean. You did remove the racks before commencing process? I’d refer to the manual, and then their help line.
I did remove all racks prior to starting pyro & followed instructions in manual to the letter.
