Boy expected customer to do his job!
The pharmacist got the prescription price wrong but the front counter wanted ME to walk it to the back of the store to give the pharmacist back the box of meds(even though i'd not accepted the wrongly priced box, they told me $8 before it was filled out then $55 when i went to pay it!) and wouldnt give me the rest of the stuff i bought there until i done HIS JOB for him. Then to add insult to injury, as i was leaving store obviously unhappy, says, loudly and snarkily: "have a great day"! Children running and staffing townsville city store! Avoid if pensioner. Woolcock st. Store- much better and it is run by adults, and dont overcharge.

No Return Allowed
I was at my Doctors having a dressing changed.
I was using a specific dressing for a nasty leg ulcer which the surgery did not keep, so they requested that I go to Chemist Warehouse next door and purchase one at my expense.
However, the Chemist did not stock that particular item and instead suggested another product which the assistant advised, would be equally as good for my ulcer. The package contained TWO dressings at a cost of around $18.00. However, upon returning to the doctor's surgery, I was advised that this substituted dressing wa...Read more
s not suitable for my ulcer. The product was unopened as all the information and photos were on the box. Upon requesting a return from Chemist Warehouse, and despite my explanation that it was a substitute item suggested by a staff member, my request was denied. I thought that this was against the Product Return Law??Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Chemist Warehouse North Perth
Chemist Warehouse North Perth - the staff are so friendly and always there to help.
I was particularly happy to deal with this average height blonde hair chick (didn't catch her name). When asked for assistance to find products, she knew exactly where every product could be found on the shelf and guided me through the shop with patience. It's always a pleasure to meet ppl like her.

Very rude chemist at Girrawheen shop
The chemist in this shop was so rude to clients. She did not answer questions and refuse service. Not sure how people with such attitude can work in customer services.

Will never use their store again
I went to chemist warehouse for prescription, left it to return later as they are busy, when I returned much later, I stood in the correct line, waited patiently, there was no opportunity to say anything as pharmacy staff ignored me. I then asked, as soon as the opportunity arose if they could check my prescription, only to have staff be rude and delay longer, also asking if my concession had been applied was told yes it had not

Very Cheap Chemist
I regularly Shop at Chemist Warehouse. Massive range of vitamins, toiletries, medicine, etc. Prices are very reasonable, service is good, and staff are friendly and helpful. Prescription medication is very cheap if you buy the generic Brand, which I usually do ( as it's exactly the same as the more expensive non generic Brand ). A great chemist to shop at.

Chemist Warehouse North Perth - What can I say?
Yesterday I visited my local Chemist Warehouse in North Perth to have a prescription filled for essential blood pressure (6 months) and thyroid medication. Despite being told they had supplies and there being no shortage, I was informed I was limited to a 2 months supply for blood pressure medication due to COV-19. I didn’t request hand sanitiser, paper products or Ventolin.
The prescriptions were filled at a pharmacy 200m down up the street.
To gain an extra prescription fee this outlet is putting health at risk even more so when we sho...Read more
uld be keeping off the streets. Experience with delays on prior occasions when the shop was nearly empty makes one think this is an additional ploy to entice other shopping. After all the medicine is pre-packaged. Does it take 45 minutes in a near empty shop to give a client a few boxes? Currently, checking your temperature at door is a positive and probably necessary as you will be in there a while in troubling times. No doubt others visiting this place have had the same experience and Chemist Warehouse should consider a different approach given current government recommendations to stay at home. Beware.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Appalling Customer Service!
On 30/03/2020 I had the misfortune of of attending Chemist Warehouse Mentone. I left almost 30 minutes later empty handed & appalled by the treatment of the pharmacist. I asked for a ‘behind the counter’, non-prescription medication recommended by my GP. I could clearly see the assistant had dispensed it within 5 minutes. Yet the pharmacist answered two phone calls whilst I just stood there, waiting. 20 minutes later she graced me with her presence & told me she couldn’t dispense it because I was at risk of addiction. Whatever her reason, it wa...Read more
s unacceptable to leave a customer waiting in the store whilst she answered lengthy calls, all for an item she had no intention of supplying me with. She was not understaffed or overly busy. Her reply when I questioned her about the time it took, was an abrupt “I was on the phone!”. Really? Well my family and I are no longer customers!1 comment

Asmol Prescription
For many years I have been getting Asmol on prescription from Chemist Warehouse, they always come as 2 units each time. As I am on a Government Pension I receive the 2 for $5.60. Yesterday I was given 1 unit on my prescription as they were limiting each customer, I do not mind the limiting but the cost is still the same ($5.60) - good for Chemist Warehouse 100% extra profit.

Incompetent
I am asthmatic. I appreciate the current situation but refusing to sell me ventolin without showing them an empty prevented is sheer stupidity. Anyone can get an emlty preventer from a genuine asthmatic if they ask for it and present it as "proof". Limiting purchases of ventolin after non asthmatics have hoarded them is counter productive. Those people aren't buying them anymore.
If ANYONE had ANY common sense, this would not be the situation.
A special thanks to the pharmacist at Chemist Warehouse in Lower Plenty for providing this informatio...Read more

Most annoying hold music in the world
Their hold music is enough to drive you mad. They need to sort it out and get their marketing department in line! Other than that, good store and products but this hold music has destroyed me.

Help in difficult times
Passing through on way home from Doctor's visit, thought i'd call in and get the last script filled for Crestor & Micardis. Walked around shop for 5 minutes and was called over by the pharmacist and told that as i had obtained the meds only 10 days ago he couldn't fill it until it was 20 days after the last one. I'm 77 and since there's a pandemic on am trying to stay at home as who knows in 10 days time i may not feel like going out again. Surely a bit of leeway/compassion could have been shown. I'm over Chemist Warehouse.

Poor advice, poor customer service - Polaris (Bundoora) Victoria
My wife spends thousands - literally thousands - of dollars at Chemist Warehouse each year, mostly at the Polaris (Bundoora) store.
Recently she has been taking a strong antibiotic for a gut problem, and was advised by her GP to take a pro-biotic. Faced with a range of options, she asked for a recommendation from one of the duty pharmacists (young male) who directed here to a particular brand, and within that brand the variety branded as "Women's Health". She very specifically asked if it would be better to take the broad spectrum variety an...Read more
d the pharmacist again steered her towards the "Women's Health" variety. When she got home and started to open the bottle she noticed that the "Women's Health" variety was targeted at vaginal health not gut health. We returned to the store and asked to speak to the pharmacist, this time being directed to the other one on duty (young female). This pharmacist advised my wife that the variety she had purchased was good for treating thrush, but when my wife said she didn't have thrush and wanted something for her gut the pharmacist just kept repeating that many women do get thrush. My wife then asked her what she would have recommended. The pharmacist left the dispensary and took us down to where the probiotics were. She started to select a different brand, and my wife asked her to comment on the brand the first pharmacist had advised. The pharmacist insisted that that all probiotics were the same (despite there being many different varieties) and that the first pharmacist's advice had not been wrong. When my wife asked if she could exchange the bottle she had purchased for a more appropriate variety the pharmacist became very rude and officious, even cutting my wife off as she spoke.Similar opinion? Huge range at great prices
Chemist warehouse is always my go to for any chemist needs. They are usually the cheapest and have a great range of products. I generally do some research of the products on their website first though if looking for a supplement as having them sorted by brand in store can be frustrating, but online I can type in 'magnesium' for example and compare the products that come up and make a decision much easier before going in to the store.

My daughter was given perfume bought from chemist warehouse lilydale vic for christmas. She hasn't opened it as any perfume with rose gives her a violent headache.
She took it back and explained the situation but they refused to let her return it. Even stating that the weather has been hot which could have damaged it?
Don't these big companys have any compassion? Is this fair? It is one of the more expensive perfumes........
Thanks and any advice would be appreciated....sue.
