My move with Chess was from a storage facility to a 3 bedroom home in Adelaide. Chess were able to arrange this for me at short notice, and the entire process was completely stress free. Brad and Chris were professional and considerate, and I can not recommend them highly enough. They were excellent.

Paid in full to ship our belongings to uk last September, it’s now April our belongings are stuck at the docks because chess didn’t pay the shipping I now have to pay again which will bankrupt me,don’t let them rip you off

My move is to go a long distance to Perth WA. All pieces were packed securely and expediently. A whole Half house of furniture and personal effects. Including washer microwave and fridge. And a car!

Our town house in Clifton Hill (Vic) was over 3 levels so lots of stairs and a large quantity of furniture and boxes. Our new home in New Norfolk (Tas) also had tricky stairs however this did not matter to the crew from Chess. Fuss free and nothing was too much trouble!

The Move was rocking from the start, nearly a month has gone by and I do not know where my stuff is, i have not received a return call. nor my money back. I did purchase insurance but i have been thrown around to lawyers and other branches. I just want my stuff to actually arrive and to speak to someone who can help.

Chess Moving have done an excellent job so far. They have packed and uplifted our goods with no reason to complain. Am very satisfied with the service and they also complied with our special requests.
Will definitely recommend them for anyone wanting to move house.

Chess Moving Canberra has to be the best home contents removalist ever. The two guys, Jack and Liam, who were allocated to pack and move our home contents from a three-bedroom townhouse, apart from being absolute gentlemen, showed professionalism in the way that went about packing items, even though the move was to be only a 10-minute drive away. When packing was completed they were joined by two others and the four of them wasted no time in loading the truck. On arrival at our new address they soon had the goods unloaded and were prepared to open whatever cartons we chose. And Jack returned a few days later and took away all the empty cartons. In all, one of the best moves we've ever had, and we've now had 22 of them.

We have just completed a two part move from Cairns to SE Qld. From the first contact to the final handshake we have been totally impressed by the levels of service, professionalism and enthusiasm shown by all we came into contact with at GNR/Chess Removals. This team ticked all the great service boxes from price to packing and then delivery. A full four bedroom house and cottage was uplifted and delivered on time, complete and no breakages. Highly commend David and the team in Cairns and Brisbane.

Very impressed by the team. Through a variety of circumstances and changes of work etc, I have moved 7 times in the past 10 years. While I don't believe it is possible to 'love moving' the team made it hassle-free. Based on past experience (incl. with AFRA members), I had resigned myself to the fact that things would go wrong and things would get damaged. I am very happy to say that this was not the case. Other removalists have damaged furniture and actually stolen goods of value. No such hassles here. Great job team. I can recommend Chess Adelaide to anyone.

Chess Removalists did a fantastic and seamless job in moving me between houses in Canberra. They arrived on time and were very careful in moving some very delicate furniture. The service was friendly, price reasonable and we couldn't ask for better. I would definitely get them back, although we are in no hurry to move anytime soon

We used Chess Moving in Canberra as they did a letterbox drop following a recent sale. From the moment i met with Andrew for the quote i felt at ease i was dealing with a company who was professional and with extensive experience. I was also surprised to hear they supplied boxes, wardrobes, packing paper, tape and linen bags at no additional charge!. Chess moved out our 4 bedroom home, with half our contents into a temporary residence and the remainder into storage. The team of 4 boys on the day + 2 trucks were polite, very accommodating and moved the entire house out within hours without damaging a single item. I couldn't be happier!

We arranged our move from Canberra to Perth with Chess Moving. The office staff provided us with expert advice. The removalists turned up on time to pack all our belongings from our 4 bedroom town house. They were efficient and very professional and nothing was too much trouble during what can be a very stressful time.

We moved a 3 bedroom house to a local unit about 10 minutes away. Love the service, the company and staff. From the moment we got a quote to when the movers arrived and left everything was done efficiently, quickly and with respect. Everything was wrapped beautifully, the movers were polite, helpful and made great suggestions. They did everything with thought, were well planned, loaded everything carefully.
