We built our house in 2012 with a chromagen solar electrical and hot water system. Our first power bill doubled. We originally thought it was from our ducted air con so we stopped using it. Our next bill was also large. Eventually worked out it was the hot water system. Rung chromagen who sent someone around to look at the unit. We were told there was nothing wrong with it. th it and higher power bills happen this time of year. Finally they found the pump wasn't working. It was replaced and our power bills have since dropped. However chromagen wouldn't take responsibility for it now saying in may or may not have been a faulty pump? Even worse Todd's plumbing installed both systems on the wrong side of our roof ( opposite side to what was on our plans) Chromagen management advised me of this. So I insisted it be changed to what the house plans stated. I also advised chromagen and todds plumbing, I would not except any patching of the roof as it is a new house and if it was done properly in the first place there would be no holes in the roof. Management at chromagen instructed todd plumbing to do exactly what I ask them not too. Bog up the holes. Not happy. In the end chromagen would not return any of my phone calls.Similar opinion? Rubbish customer service
Have been chasing rebate for three months
Never return phone calls, made over 30 phone calls
Said the rebate is going to be in the account but never was, going to take them to consumers affairs
Do not use them they are
The worse
No sure how they are still in business

Henley does not help with appliance faults
Henley built our house a year ago. Fault with water system dumping out hot water in tonnes every day when it is hot. Henley dont want to know and passed the buck to supplier who wants to charge to come a check whats wrong. My concern is Henley was responsible to choose the appliance and supplier not us. They should have researched the product before installation. We should be helped by Henley not the supplier at least in the first two years cause we did not purchase the product Henley did. I did call Chromagen they cant help till 1 week.
