Terrible product and poor customer service
In 2014 (19/09/2014) we took ownership of our newly built Home. The house came with a Chromagen T20 LPG instant hot water system. The unit lasted 2 years and 7 months before it completely stopped producing hot water. At the time we had a new born and were left without hot water for a week before the unit was replaced under warranty. On the 15/05/2017 the broken unit was replaced with a brand new unit. This then lasted 1 year and 8 months. Chromagen warranty is the following: gas booster 10 years other components 3 years / labour 3 years but thi...Read more
s apparently only counts from the first system installed, not from the start of each brand new system replaced. Therefore we are to pay for the labour of the installation of our 3rd unit within a 4 year and 4 month period. They then supplied a different system (eternity plus m20) after being hassled to approve the actual replacement request by both their service provider and myself (07/02/19). This system required the pipe work changing for installation and currently doesn’t provide a decent temperature of hot water. 3 systems in 4 years and 4 months is unacceptable and to not even cover the labour on the 3rd system is a disgrace. Our headache continues. Chromagen you need to step up and show some customer care and service.

I have a newly installed Chromagen m26 hot water. If I slightly adjust the heat downwards all hot water ceases. Is this a sensor problem and can a plumber fix it or do I call for a warranty repair? Showering is a nightmare
