Comfortable but poor build
Very nice appearing vehicle. I had the black with factory black wheels. Fully loaded with options which you normally only find in cars that cost a lot more. However build quality is poor. By 20,000km the wrap around the steering wheel was coming off. Had to be glued back on. At 25,000km the spring loaded compartment cover had broken. Maybe I got a lemon. But I really enjoyed driving it.
Purchased in March 2021 at Chrysler Dealers.

Beware dealing with Fiat Chrysler Australia
looks like its the same for a lot of people.
5 stars for buying the car. but if you have any issues with the car repairs and warranty issues its a 1 star, and only because there is no zero.
beware if you buy any cars of Fiat Chrysler Australia. Jeep, Chrysler, Fiat and the rest.
If you will have any issues after sales(and the odds are high you will - look at car recall by brand Australia) you will regret the day you bought the car.
I also had 5 starts service when buying the car but this is where it ends! 16 warranty issues in 12 month. s...Read more
ome are multiply times. the repairs cost and parts is higher than the car cost. 7 month I had an exhaust leaking into the aircon into the cabin. high levels of carbon monoxide were found in the car. it is dangerous for me my passengers and other road users. 7 month of attempts to repair this issue between 2 dealerships and only once I got a lawyer and an independent report to prove my claim (took the independent mechanic 2 days of work to find the problem) only then the dealer admitted and repaired the problem. this after my car was in their shops many times more than 60 days of work, weeks in which they claimed nothing wrong with it and then after 7 month of exhaust leak into the cabin they have found that what I claimed for 7 month is correct and there is a leak in the DPF unit again. this also after I hired a lawyer and the first reply from their lawyer was that my car is not under warranty and that they haven't seen my car in over a year. funny that... I got invoices from them and car is under warranty. they admitted on the next letter they were wrong. but in the process have cost me more money in legal fees. so far 10k in legal and they still claim that it wasn't a major issue under consumer law. - In 2015 Fiat Chrysler Australia was found liable for mishandling consumer complaints, parts that take 4-6 weeks to come from the USA and few other issues. they announced with the ACCC redress program to resolve all the complaints. Goggle ACCC and Fiat Chrysler Australia and see for yourself.

2013 300c
I purchased a 2013 300c 3.6 v6 8 speed auto new last year and its ok but not great. It's a good looking car and doesn't go unnoticed but it's not a BMW or MERC and nowhere near it. The ride is not as smooth as it could be and every bump in the road can be felt also the seats are very stiff even though I have them on the softest possible setting. Fuel consumption is around 13 litres/ 100k around town and 10 litres / 100k highway cruising which is not bad for a 1.8 ton vehicle. I suspect the vehicle will start falling to pieces when it's a bit older so I will be trading it in next year.

This car is a hidden gem
I thought I would buy a car that was a bit different from the mundane bunch of the usual fare on offer. I had a test drive, and thought "I reckon I'll give this a go". Glad I did. This is a open road gem. Great on fuel (8 litres per 100k). Bought the base 300 petrol 8 speed. Plenty of features, more than happy. Very quiet, very smooth drive. I've done 20,000K so far and really, I could not be happier with this car. Not so the dealer I bought it from. Very poor service indeed in my experience. Still, you might have a different experience if you...Read more
buy from this dealer. As the question goes "Would you recommend this dealer to a friend?" Answer "No" Smooth ride, great on fuel. And nobody says "Hey what was that car", everybody knows and wish they had one. Poor dealer experience. They won't see me, or the car, in there again.1 comment

Harsh downshifts
Car developed harsh, jolting downshifts into lower gears at only 3000km's. Chrysler technicians at the dealership purchased from have no solution. Search on the internet reveals that dozen's of V6 8 speed Jeeps, Chryslers and Dodges (share the same Pentastar engine and ZF transmission) have developed similar issues. According to these forums, Chrysler is fobbing off owners by declaring the problem isn't a problem at all, but a "characteristic" of these vehicles.
If this is characteristic of these vehicles, why:
1. didn't the demonstrator ve...Read more

I was always a bit sceptical of the 8spd so when I bought the 2012 diesel I was happy to have the old trust worthy 5spd as its been in development for over 10 years I mean how many forward gears to you want ??

Great value for money!
I purchased a new Chrysler 300C (2013 model) and so far it has been excellent, much better than my previous Holdens.
This vehicle is great on fuel, it got us from Seymour where we filled up and all the way to Sydney (Riverstone) on a full tank!! We couldn't believe how fuel efficient it was, we were also using the air conditioning for most of the trip. The Chrysler is extremely comfortable, quality interior, quiet (no rattling), cool features such as the rear sunshade, push start ignition, usb/bluetooth, big display screen, premium Alpine soun...Read more

2008 Chrysler 300C - is a lemon. Has been nothing but trouble and money guzzler since day one. New tyres at 20,000k's, new spark plugs at 27,000 and again at 52,000 (not as listed in service guide at ... Read more
48,000 and 96,000). New rotors at 50,000. The list is endless, not to mention the time wasted to return vehicle to service centre every time something goes wrong. Would never recommend a Chrysler to anyone - in fact I am so dead set against them I tell everyone everything that has happened to mine. Is nearly 6 years old and only done 52,000 k's as it has spent most of its life in workshop and I am affraid to drive it as everytime I go somewhere something happens and I break down - very unrealiable.Similar opinion? 300C Chrysler
The Chrysler 300 C petrol is very economical. It used only 13 L per 100km and I live in Sydney! Great fuel consumption! Diesel uses only 10L PER 100 km in the city. I tested it and both diesel and petrol are very fuel economical. I definitely recommend it to anyone.

Amazing
The Chrysler 300 C Luxury is the best car I have ever driven would recommend to anyone, it's much better than the Ford Falcon low model. Very fuel efficient. I used to own a 2005 model, it still works with 190,000 kms on it. Very easy to repair too. The inside is very luxurious. Would recommend it over the Kia Sportage and Hyundai Santa Fe. VERY GOOD CAR I LOVE IT

New 2013 Chrysler 300 C Luxury
Just love it! It's a beautiful car in avery aspect inside and out. I test drove the Falcon G6E but there is no comparison. When my wife and I took it for a test drive it was all over for the Falcon. It's just a class above or two. The radar blind spot sensors came in handy 2 minutes after buying the car when a 'P plater' charged into the space I was moving in to.
It is so quiet, I have passengers ask if the engine is on! Everyone loves the blue back lit dash, the quality of the interior and the sheer presence of the car in the street. People s...Read more

Update on the Chrysler 300. Had the car 3 years now. Still love the car. Never has it missed a beat. Still a head turner. Don't do a lot of K's. Have other work cars . So only 38k on the clock.. I hope the love affair continues.
