No good, limited effect and after 90 days stopped working, waste of money

    published

Was not what we expected. For daughters small bedroom. We now bought a more expensive well known brand, very happy with the new purchase, I wouldnt go near the climate brand again, the warranty process would have cost us much as the original purchase almost. I suggest going to a big electronics retailer and looking at more well known brands. cheers

Excellent at Filtering Small Spaces but Replacement Filters $$$

    published

This filters small rooms as well as the AP-30 we also have (which works well for pollen and odours) but only small rooms. And it needs to be constantly on to be effective.

The oil that comes with it is dreadful - avoid it. Also, replacement filters are expensive at $49 each.

So recommend this again for very small rooms and if you have asthma or hayfever, as that's the only way it'll be worth the ongoing cost. I can't see this working in other more open air environments - the fan simply isn't strong enough.

    Useless piece of garbage

    published

I bought the unit last week, After a week of using it I can confirm the unit is a total garbage.
My hay fever doesn't get any better, the fan is really quite that I doubted it actually works and I was not wrong. The aroma oil only lasts 5-10 mins before the scent is gone (who have the time to put the oil on every 5-10 mins) returning the unit very soon when I get the chance.

    Great little unit

    published

Admit I wasn't expecting great things from such a small, inexpensive air filter, but it does indeed do a great job. Probably doesn't filter to the extent of some of the high end (and expensive) units, but air quality is noticeably better. No headaches, no sinus problems, no coughing, no irritated throat. Whisper quiet and very low power consumption. Filters 10 square metres, so perfect for those who don't live in an open plan house. I plan on getting another couple of these little gems.

    Outstanding air purifier for bedrooms

    published

My daughter has bad asthma over years she continually coughed at night. Bought this on recommendation from Asthma council and within days she was cough free at night and has remained so for a number of months now even during peak allergy season. We tested it by having her sleep one night in another bedroom and sure enough she coughed again. Has an excellent feature where you can add eucalyptus, lavender or similar to assist sleep. Outstanding product well worth the money.
Compact unit, energy efficient to leave on all day, ability to add natural fragrances

Depending on how often you use it, according to the sales rep from Bing Lee it should last around 6 months if you use it moderately (8-10 hours each day) the replacement filter is cheap $20 or something. But I will say invest in a better unit, this unit is a total gimmick it doesn't actually work.
