Could be better
The side casing of the water tank is sealed with a material that degrades over time. I have had my humidifier for 6 months and 30 days (I know because I submitted a warranty claim) and water leaks down the outsides of the tank. For an unknown, probably unrelated reason, the power unit of the humidifier has died completely and will no longer turn on. They should repair or replace, and I do believe they will. Sometimes mistakes and defects happen and that's what warranties are for... Honestly, if you find this humidifier for ~AU$100 I DO think it...Read more
is worth it. I have gone through my fair share of humidifiers and this one has been the best, despite a lot of room for improvement. The LED screen is nice, but it is true that it is bright. In your bedroom, you'll probably find yourself turning the humidifier to face the wall at night. It is not so easy to clean and truly should be cleaned every 5-7 days at minimum. It is a task. The tank is nice because it has a big wide opening for the water input, so you can basically fit your whole hand in there and wipe it down, but there is a section of the tank that is cornered off and near impossible to reach. The manual says to only wipe it down and do not use any detergents, any cleaners, any solutions, but there is no way to access the bottom section. I've tried one of the long, thin, bendy brushes, but it is not strong enough to prevent any buildup. When I bought this machine it was owned and distributed by Cli-Mate. It has since been bought by Breville. I'd wait for an improved version of a humidifier manufactured by them if they plan to make any.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

OK but incompatiable with my bamboo florrs
I purchased this at Harvey Norman to replace a Homedics humidifier which had died. I used it to manage my asthma/COPD during winter.
The good
A large tank
A filter that removes mineral deposits and can be easily purchased in Australia.
Electronic display.
Increases humidity as claimed
Suitable for a reasonably sized room
The bad ...Read more
It requires weekly cleaning. Even on low settings it produces mist which is neither fine enough nor high enough to prevent condensation. This condenses on my bamboo floors. I have a mat under it but it is still ruining the floors (bamboo hates water). Running it on higher settings is impractical. If you don't mind the condensation then it's fine.Similar opinion? Quite an efficient and smart looking system
Purchased this instead of the Beurer LB44 Air Humidifier for $20 more from Harvey Norman. The bonus being remote, operation timer and ability to direct air flow which I greatly appreciate. The system seems much more powerful than the Beurer and holds a lot more water. Unit is currently 5 days old and I'm really happy. It's noiseless aside from the occasional water gurgle and emits a decent amount of vapour. As another reviewer said, the bright light can be annoying but I think I can live with it. What actually annoys me the most is the volume o...Read more
f making selections on its operations. The BEEP can be heard throughout the apartment. It's quite jarring when you're standing in front of it. Also need to unplug and up-end the entire unit to change the water as there's no drainage in the base.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Does the job but is really bright (can't turn down the lights)
I've had the machine for a day, just wanted to drop a note to everyone that I'm still new to the machine BUT one thing is certain, it has a really bright blue bulb at the base of the unit for some reason which cannot be turned off (manual says nothing about it), so this thing is as bright as any aquarium and if you're like me and enjoy sleeping in a dark room just be warned.
The LEDs on the front can't be dimmed either.

Perfect!!!
Bought this about 3 months ago now from Harvey Norman for about $129, does exactly what it says my room would be about 8-10sqm and humidify's the room in under half an hour or less and doesn't even go through that much water, it's overkill for what i need, no issues so far, and i'm pretty happy with the product and the quality.
Pros: -Comes with remote control
-Custom Adjust the humidity setting
-Custom adjust the humidity output
-Sleep timer
- 5 lt water tank capacity
Con: Only thing i can think of is that it get's lime scale so gotta clean it after 4-5 refills.
