Why do you keep increasing the delivery fee? I've always been happy to shop online with you ..the drivers ALWAYS deliver within the allotted time, they have always been really lovely men with a smile & extremely helpful ....BUT..going from $4, to $8..now $12 delivery fee in a matter of a few weeks, is deployable!! I'm an aged pensioner, find it difficult to drive over 50kms to nearest Coles, & also don't want to compromise my health by this pandemic and prefer to social distance myself from the rest of the public.

George, you missed answering a couple of queries. Yes, I did send email with query but no reply. Herald Sun also had a comment about it one day last week. No comment from Coles.

i am a coles COPS eligible shopper. delivery expected wednesday 22nd. but i could not check out, i rang and chicken and frozen prawns one zucchini and more had to be removed. phone lady said they had an x beside them. but on website they were available. i rang three times first a gentleman whom i could not understand and he had no idea what i was talking about. second a young lady who tried to help she got confused when my not large list shrunk, and went to ask someone. buy the time she came back i had deleted everything and was getting upset. so i tried again had to ring again got another lady she spoke with some one and asked me to log in again. i did ordered one whole chicken it was available. no couldn't have it, tried chicken thigh fillets no could not have it. she said something about priority not being aloud chicken and seafood. now i was upset so i asked her to stay online to see if i would be able to check out. she did and i was able to go through the checkout process. no protein this fortnight. i dont understand this. if a product is available on website and product limits adhered to, why. anyone know. i am very confused and yes stressed. christine 20/4/2020

Is there anywhere you can say that you do not want a substitute/s when you order your groceries .

The other place have that option I don't think Coles do.
Most of the time my substitutions have been suitable, at times generous and on the odd occasion totally unsuitable in which case they credited me and let me keep the item.

It would be better if they had a place where you can say you don’t want a substitute. I got hamburger buns in place of Turkish rolls which was no good to me and also hotdog rolls in place of bake at home rolls which were also no good to me.

I’m curious as to how a customer who orders one thing gets something else that they never ordered.
I think Coles legally should fix & resolve this by complying by the / our Australia. consumer law .. ACCC..
FYI A consumer has a legal right to receive what they paid for.
A consumer should not be in this unfair & unclear & confusing poor customer service.
Coles must fix this error instantly and apologise for any inconvenience & their lack of ability to give the customer what they paid for.
Sounds very deceptive ..?
Again I have to ask since when do consumers pay for a product ! But do not receive that product that they originally ordered ! Since when does Coles decide that they will not do the correct customer service professionally.
Customers pay for a service
The service provider by law must provide the service that was paid for accurately and professionally.
Nothing less will do!!!
This must be reported to consumer affairs .. department of fair trading ...
Coles are not above the law!
Since when does someone pay for a service ! A product & does not receive the exact product that they paid for ...
What is going on here ?

I am nearly 60 with heart disease and scarred lungs, but do not appear to meet the limited categories Coles seems to be using to define vulnerability to this virus for its priority delivery service. Am I misreading the availability of the service for vulnerable members of our community?

I'd make contact with them on their support page and tell them your story. We found them to be very helpful. Because I'm older than you it was very easy and all I had to do was give them my birthday. I'm sure they will help you. They will have read this reply so will probably be ready to hear from you. Good luck.

Coles accepts registrations for priority deliveries especially for the elderly and disabled but for some unknown reason despite the extraordinary need for home delivery and click and collect which would limit transmission of the virus. Both are currently suspended :-/

As you can clearly see, Coles don’t respond here.

With the world in dire straits forget ‘convenience’. It is NOT Coles fault. Why are you not blaming the zombie panic buyers?

Now is the time to grow up, think outside the box and find alternative solutions. Start with neighbours, friends, charities etc etc.

See Coles website and tv news for latest updates.

Deborah, I am very sorry to hear of your circumstances. I think you can conclude, based on the behaviour of the super supermarket chains, that they really couldn't give a rats about consumers. They have shut down online in order to be able to better gouge to instore business. Even in online, they have drastically ramped up, prices on some item (AFTER the order has been placed!!). Once this crisis is over, the regulator should act firmly to break up the duopoly.

call the salvos or your local community services run by the council they have a shopping service for disabled people give them your shopping list & they will go and do it
