Works as it should. Good value for money
Works great, the app works well with the fridge and seems to be working fine. Time will be the best judge but a 3year warranty is pretty good. The controls on the fridge itself could be a little better so thats why it gets only 4 stars.

Not good
Tested the fridge set up as fridge/freezer.zone 1 was set for 2 degrees, and zone 2 was set for -19.the atmospheric temp was between 0 and 20 max and the freezer could not go below -13.the unit was on 240v power and was running all the time trying to get the freezer temp down but just could not do it.the fridge was stacked to the brim with pre chilled/frozen foods so it also had a very good head start.i have now set the freezer to -7 and it can reach this.i would hate to try this in summer on 12v as you would need 3 batteries and 600w of solar ...Read more
supply to keep the thing running flat out.i have tried on 1 new 12v deep cycle 135ah agm connected with 400w of solar and even on the lowest voltage cutout it which is 10.5 i think,it drops out, despite the battery reading 12.5.so at this stage i wòuld not use it for the reason i bought it ie camping but can be used in winter at home as a fridge/freezer with a low freezer setting.for the money spent i would expect more.in this case you dont get what you pay for.

TITAN For Ozasked
I have an original (blue & grey) 45ltr Primus Mammoth fridge that is easily 6 years old and has NEVER missed a beat. It's been in the back of the Ute on corrugated roads, and on board our camper trailer to Central Australia and back. I cannot for the life of me understand why anyone can have a problem with the fridge technology nowadays. We are ready to go bigger, and our first choice is the Mammoth 72ltr Flexi-Zone, simply because I trust the brand and cannot afford an Engel, plus I just don't like the Waeco/Dometic build. So can anyone give me a genuine reason why a well built fridge like the Mammoth with a Secop compressor cannot cut the mustard?

My one stopped working on 12v after 4 or so months and it has never ever been able to reach over minus 12, even in the small compartment, despite its supposed minus 18 max setting.this is with the insulating cover.i never set it below minus 9 as it never stops running and chews an enormous amount of juice.takes 2 days to freeze a 1.25 litre bottle of water.until i can return for warranty repair its 240v only.has never travelled yet.was on free solar supply but now i pay for it to run.sits on the nice cool tiles.
But what did Companion Brands do about it?
