Great off roader.
Purchased new in 2015. Since then we have done the Oodnadatta and Tanami tracks and into the Bungle Bungles in WA and the entire length of the Gibb River road. The unit is well constructed and robust. The only problem we encountered on our first outback trip was dust ingress. Apparently the silicone sealing was not totally joined up during the final stages in the manufacturing process. Although we had to deviate from our intended scheduled trip itinerary the problem was rectified by the guys in the workshop at the factory north of Sydney.

Love our Exodus 14 Camplete Campsite Van.
Performs well in wind and rain, no water problems. Very solid. Do not feel wind when inside.
Tows very well. Don't even feel it. No need for mirrors as is only as wide as our Mazda BT50.
Very easy to set up. I can set it up by my self (I'm a woman) need a bit of help from hubby to put up anex.
Complete Campsite after sales service very good.

Good but has problems
12 months old and have been back to the manufacturer 6 times after 6 trips.
NO ADEQUATE UP TO DATE MANUAL
Awning flimsy with no finish on the edges of the canvas thus tearing easily and legs bending easily, cabinetry inside poor with draws dropping and locks breaking, leaking water into storage area traveling and wetting everything stored in storage boxes - even into cabin ( seals changed twice), doors on storage boxes bend easily, no gas struts under bed where batteries etc are stored, fly screens that don’t work, mattress uncomfortable with...Read more

Well built unit and practical but after sales service is rubbish
We have an Exodus 16 and picked it up from the Authorised dealer representative in SE Queensland. We live in Cairns. Reading the Complete Campsite website we were of the belief that we would be covered anywhere in Australia. They even list authorised or recommended repairers in Cairns so we thought we would be right for any warranty work - not so. We are generally happy with our $106000K unit for its intended purpose but not the customer service afterwards. If you are no where near the authorised dealer, forget it. The folks there are nice and ...Read more
friendly but their after sales service is rubbish. Our experience has been that the folks we bought it from will defend the product to the hilt. Admirable but not very good for us. Apparently it must have been something we have done to cause the fault always! When we told them it was leaking, we must have left something open or the camper wasn't level (so what if it wasn't, it shouldn't leak anyway), there was leaf litter blocking the tubes or caught under the seals because we hadn't cleaned it etc, when the rear pod LED's went out it must have been because we had left the light on constantly with the pod closed, we asked for extra clips for the gas hose to stop it falling down in transit and preventing the kitchen unit from being able to be pulled out - again our fault because we apparently put the hose the wrong way around (it didn't matter which way we had it, it still fell down so at our own expense we fitted another clip - now it doesn't fall down), one of the drawer locking mechanisms broke and we were told it's never happened before, you must have done something. Please give us some credit that we do know what we are doing. Anyway, it all got too hard dealing with them, so we have decided to deal with any issues ourselves. I have copied the manufacturer into a number of emails sent to the authorised dealer and haven't had one response from them. We could have got a lot more bling for our buck and a lot cheaper but wanted to buy Australian and are happy with the design and ruggedness of the unit. Just don't buy one if you are more than an easy driving distance to their authorised dealer where you bought it from. I concur with the sentiments of other reviewers that the manual it comes with was for an Exodus 11/14 and most of it was irrelevant to the Exodus 16 and even outdated for those units. Not a great start if you are spending that much money. I'd give the unit 4 stars for what it is, but 1 star only for their after sales treatment of its customer.Similar opinion? Great Van for its intended purpose for 2 people
After sales service not the best. Long wait times for service bookings. Service price reasonable, about the same as all major brands.
The supplied manual is ridiculously out of date and lacks detailed information. For $110k you would expect to pick your new dream machine up ready to go but did not include any gas in the supplied bottles and no one asked if you needed them full or even water (MT).This is very ordinary to say the least.
On the positive the van does not leak any water or dust anywhere, the solar and battery management is excel...Read more
lent, built quality is excellent tows beautifully and has heaps of storage and is very liveable for 2 adults for extended trips outback Australia. Have had many campers/hybrids 60k and up and they are all cutting corners which I think is foolish. There using imported locks, water pumps, hose fittings. The main ticket items are still excellent Aussie made but to save a few $100 bucks garbage is being used and it fails. For example the fitted external shower hose and rose is made in China of stainless look plastic failed miserably broke at both connections . Went to Bunnings bought for $20 USA made one made of real steel ends, works a treat. The Exodus 16 is a great hybrid off road van its just disappointing that issues dull some of your excitement about paying big bucks for a Quality Aussie made product.Similar opinion? Be prepared! Not true anymore.
-See the post scriptum-.
Fact: We love the concept.
Facts: During the first big trip we almost lost the entry door. I had to fix it myself after buying rivets and a rivet gun in Derby (very nice people at the Mitre 10). I had to strap the awning to prevent it from opening on corrugations. I cut myself on sharp edges inside the pantry and the kitchen. Broke one bolt holding the shock absorbers... Fridge/ freezer is only a fridge above 30 degrees and then not the best. Redarc BMS fell on the floor because of the corrugations. Got stripped screw...Read more

2013 Winner - Off Road Camper of the Year - For good reason
We have had our Exodus 11 for 15 months and couldn't be happier with the van or the service. The design is close to perfection. There is so much storage space for such a compact unit and while some areas look small you would be amazed at the amount you can fit in. Thanks to the size, towing is a breeze and manoeuvring around park sites is a dream.
The quality of the finish is wonderful and the bed is so comfortable. The heating is great on a cold night. The set up takes minutes - even from day one. The design of the pantry is fantastic. Noth...Read more
