Excellent tyre
Recently put these tyres on C class Mercedes. They are exceptionally comfortable providing great ride, very quiet and excellent on wet roads - from light slippery conditions to tropical Queensland storms. Great grip in normal conditions as well. Extremely satisfied and would totally recommend. Always a question about distance with continentals but after 3000kms, absolutely no complaints. Great deal from Tyrepower at Morningside - almost 1/2 price of what Mercedes wanted to charge.

Reliable Performance Tyres
I wear these tires good for wet and dry seasons are often in my country, a quiet tire, good grip.
this tyre is decent. love the handling of these tyres. super love it.
but, the wear is just beyond ridiculous. after only 10,000 km (6300miles), its almost done!
i've only used it for a year and now, it seems that i'm going to need new ones.
my driving style is somewhat relaxing. and yet it wears really quick.
is this a continental issue? i am not sure. my previous yokohamas were brilliant.

Comfort & silent tyre
I bought this tyres to change Goodyear NCT5.
ContiMaxContact MC5 is more comfort and silent than NCT5.
Handling is also improved a little.
I also can compare to Pirelli P7.
MC5 is more silent than P7.
Handling is similar to P7.
My car Honda Civic 2.0 (205/55 R16).

Comparing Continental ContiMax contact MC5, 245 45 ZR18. 340 tread wear to standard Bridgestone 245 45 R18 MY02 Sporty Style. Caprice secondhand with both sets fitted. Which one is better, ride, noise, performance and wear?

I do not experience in the Bridgestone MY02 tire but Bridgestone GR90 tire on 225/45R18. I have to say the Continental MC5 being better in the reduction in road noise. Confident of every cornering and it's feeling litter bump on uneven road. I am happy with them.
You can't really compare the two, MC5 is far superior tyre to MY02. From the Bridgestone range the RE003 would be a closer comparison but cost a lot more. I've had MC5 fitted for a year & very happy with the value for money. Previously had Goodyear Eagle F1 Asy2 & RE001 on my car for comparison.

First time for me with these tyres. So far over 5000kms an they look very good. Comfortable, quiet and good grip. No complaints. When I researched there were some suggestions about lower the average distance for wear - so time will tell on that.
