The most important upgrade to My 4X4
I bought my Cooper Stt pro's at the start of last year (2016), and went to the Gulf and the cape for the months of June a July of 2016 (10500kms) and this year I have been to the eastern side of the Gulf and to the Cape again... and when I say the Cape I mean to the Tip and back via the Old Tele track north and south, out to Chilli beach on the Frenchmans track and back ad then the Creb track through to Cairns. I am From Toowoomba so it is 2500km just to get home from Cairns. My trip this year was 9000kms because I had to do a 1400km detour to ...Read more
fix a broken shock and CV joint. My STT Pro's have done both trips and the time in-between and until now. They have never had a puncture, leak, letdown....or anything. They have been rotated every 8000kms and are now up to 68000km and still good for the beach but not mud, I will not put anything else on my Vehicles while this product is available. Cooper STT Pro Excellent
I have the new STT Pro tyres and they are quietest 4WD tyre I have had or heard.
When on dirt roads and rocky road they handle exremely well. Would highly recommend to get for any 4WD.
Only hang up is if you haven a lift kit on a Hilux they would can rub.
June 5th 2018 Update: Disappointed
Loved the tyres when I first got them but after 20,000 km they are so noisy you need to put ear muffs on just to drive down to the shop. Also slippery on wet bitumen and bog down in sand badly alright on ruff roads, the only problem is you need drive on bitumen to get there.
