Good tyre for general off road. lacks wet weather grip

published

I found the wear accurate. Up to 100Kms now and I reckon I'll get another 20Kms out of them. But the biggest bug bear is there lack of wet weather grip. There're fitted to a 4x4 rodeo twin cab with an aluminium tray so I'm mindful of the rear breaking traction in the wet. It's like driving on ball bearings at times. No matter what tyre pressures I've tried, the results are the same. I have to leave plenty of room in case of lockup. The beast doesn't have ABS which adds to the problem. Fine in the dry, be aware in the wet!

Purchased in April 2021 at JAX Tyres for $1,450.00.

Excellent tyre! Best I’ve owned

Coming from a crappy bf KO2’s, these are like the Roll’s Royce of tyres. Great on/off road, great in the wet and not nosy at all. Highly Recommended. Will not disappoint

Hello, I sympathise with you after having a good run out of our first set of AT3, the tyres have cracked around the rim the same as yours been only on bitumen, and on car for 17mths very disappointing, offer was buy one and get the 2nd half price. how is it the customers fault the tyres breakdown, do not understand your policy. Will not be recommending coopers at this rate, to anyone else, I am a pensioner had to save to get this set they want me to buy 2 more. my car also a Prado, tyres still look like new.
