Marsden Park, h yeah.
Have been at Costco for many years, started at Auburn then moved to Marsden park you have a lot of whingers in your review section but my post is positive, I love Costco and the yearly fee is paid for in your first visit or 2, If you don't like it leave, I am selective in my purchases and wouldn't go anywhere else.

Can’t get into the store without paying $60
I live over 60km away from Costco and don’t drive. I wanted to visit and have a look, in case I later will come there with friends or family. I was informed at the door that I had to pay $60 just to for visiting the store. Which I didn’t. How can anyone know if it is worth buying if they are only rarely in the area?! Not prepared to pay $60 for just visiting.

Great value
Great value, some amazing products at great prices, also very interesting store. The peri peri sauces and nuts are great. The highlight is the value of top brand clothings. Also they only sell the best brands. Keep up the good work.

Roasted Chicken was RAW on the inside
Dec 5-did usual Costco shopping, bought roast chicken supposedly for dinner.Upon cutting the chicken,it was RAW on the inside.
No point bringing it back as petrol alone would cost me more.

Terrible customer service
Management of store, customer service is terrible. Stock availability is bad in the weekends. Specials only while stock last. I went to 3 stores in sydney to buy a security camera system deal ends 02/12/2019 and they said stock will come next week but deal finishes by then.

Love it or hate it! We like it
The membership is a bit steep every year $60 - but it’s worth it if you get petrol regularly and keep an eye out on specials. It’s easy to over purchase and bulk purchase stuff you won’t end up using and so the money you save gets wasted anyways! We love the food stalls outside - churros and Hot dogs are a popular treat! I recommend it overall.

Another Crappy US company
I’ve been shopping at Costco Canada for over 20 years and never had a difficult time returning defective items. One of the main reasons I buy certain things at Costco given their prices are higher than Bing Lee etc. However, the store in Marsden Park makes the reforms process extremely difficult and i will not be renewing my membership once it expires. Another US business that’s going to end up closing down with their dodgy business practices.

Costco price
I'm Costco member for the last 8 month one of the things that frustrates me about this place the frequency of the price change and its only raising and not dropping that is frustrating to see how prices rised on the items within 2weeks such as box of lamb pack, chees or rice, biscuits etc. I'm really thinking about to give up on my membership better to shop at ALDI!!!

Birthday Cake
The other day we brought a Birthday Cake from Costco Marsden Park, it would be the worst tasting cake I have ever tasted. It was sickly, and from the first bite I felt sick, and I love cake, so I know a good tasting cake and this is not a good cake. The Birthday cake also was stale. My son tried it and it also made him sick all day. Never again will I buy a cake from Costco, and I would not recommend anyone to buy it.

Why have staff at the exit doors?
Seriously no need for them. I only had a box full of items and the female worker wanted everything accounted for. Would she have done the same to a trolley full? Like... get them to sweep the carpark. I'm sure they can pick up all the rubbish and be very thorough about it.

Treating customers like a stealer
Today, the first time, I came here to shop. When I made the payment, the staff member checked my membership card. The attitude was not friendly.
When I walked to the exit, I can't believe that another staff member to check the receipt again. I responded that the receipt I put it to the trash already, and she sent me back to the Check-out counter for checking, which made me feel that Costco treats customers as a theft. sad!

Check your Tax Invoice
I shop at Costco every couple of weeks and there is no doubt you get value for money.
Recently I have found duplicated amounts on my receipt for the same item and there appears to be a problem with the way they scan items which have more than one barcode on them.
I know it is difficult to reconcile your receipt before you leave the premises especially when you are bulk buying however I have saved myself over $40 in the last 2 trips.

Force to join before you look.
A new Costco opened in Marsden Park. Was very keen to go and have a look to see if it was worth joining. I was not allowed entry into the store untill I joined .
I eventually went in with a friend who had a card . Good value on a lot of stuff but too overwhelming Goodguys and JB better on Electronics . No service . Aldi's were very compriable on their food and you did not have to buy in bulk . And leaving the place, you had to queue so the docket could be checked . I don't think I will be joining .

Honestly a waste of money
First off having to pay $60 and a photo ID just to shop for food that you can get at Coles and Woolworths and to be honest it's not that cheap at all with hardly a variety, it's ridiculous. I have no idea where people are shopping if they find Costco "cheap" I brought newborn nappies with the price tag saying $44 for 228 nappies compared to $33 for 108 I thought wow bargain, to go in today and find they've changed it to $62.99 I can buy two boxes of the 108 for $33 and not have to drive 20minutes to get them and not be swamped at the doors to m...Read more
ake sure I haven't stolen any of there over priced bull. Got home found out I paid the $62.99 also so I'm very annoyed. Plus the nappies at Woolworths go on sale every two weeks for $24 so I can get two then for even cheaper! It's an ABSOLUTE WASTE OF MONEY. It's also a absolute disgrace with the rude customer service and people bumping into you and not being polite. I'd rather shop at my local shop. Also when buying g check the items value eg like per 100g or per packet because it's not cheap at all and items don't always add up to what they are eg giant cabury bar isn't giant at all it's 5 packets in the box! I hope this company fails to be honest! And I would bet that fruit and veg isn't local either.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
