This place gets very crowded during weekend. Staffs are more rush. For whom love bulk buying, dont miss this place. Gas is always cheap, I don’t think the one in docklands hasgas station?

Checkout staff - very, very poor service
Firstly when was the last time your feedback box in the shop was cleared? It is 3 feet high and no space for another form. Secondly after presenting my Costco membership card with my clear photo why was I rudely asked for additional ID by staff serving on aisle 5 at 4.40PM on 29/6/19? When asked why, she said it is her right! Do you think it could be poor training or a bit of personal dislike for people of other colour other than caucasian or she has optical disability?

Petrol savings over the year make it worth the $60 fee
As the heading suggests I generally save $7-10 filling up at costco fuel per tank
Yeah buying in bulk maximises the savings, but even the the bulk items you need to calculate if it’s cheaper than Coles or woolies, you’ll need to know what’s worth it and what’s not when buying there.
Like CK business shirts for $19.99 are worth it, their coupon specials (catalogue sales to members generally have good deals)
As the whingers will talk about $60 annual fee, unfriendly staff, packed on weekends, have to buy in bulk, waiting for petrol, or to get...Read more
service or their membership cards / photo looked at prior to entering the store. To simply avoid this come in during weekdays or if you need to go weekends come in when costco opens earlier in the morning simple as that, and you’ll have a positive experience unlike some of the complainers you’ll read about here. Don’t listen to them, customer service is overrated in this time poor day and age, if you can’t figure it out yourself (read the how to signs, observe other people) and let the Costco staff do their thing you will be fine.Similar opinion? Crazy fuel system!
I have been a Costco member for nearly 12 months and do not propose to renew membership.
I have found the petrol filling system ridiculous. Yes the fuel is cheaper - certainly comparable to the rewards system with supermarkets, but there is invariably a long wait at the pumps. When you get there, it is self serve requiring your Costco card and credit card, but YOU CAN'T JUST FILL UP! You have to pick $25-, $50- etc. If your car won't take the amount you have selected, they state they will give you credit on your bank account! Crazy talk! Why no...Read more

Random Price hikes Weekends & Rude Customers/Staff
I do not think I've ever been to a place where I absolutely dread having to go due to the sheer amount of rudeness that goes in in Costco carparks alone. Not only from the staff, but the customers. I have never had a problem with the Customer Service inside Costco, they have been superb! Simply the people outside that pick up trolleys. Customers shoving others about are rude. The prices are always and I mean always cheaper during the weekday trade. However every single time I go on a weekend, the prices are randomly higher. Extremely stra...Read more
nge. Have been a member now for 2 years and will continue to be one, however, Costco need to get a grip on those rude staff outside with the trolleys. Some people can't move as fast as others due to injury and need to be a little patient if possible.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

BBQ Beef
Hi guys, this is not the first time, Costco shoppers did you guys ever buy the pork belly slices and beef slices for BBQ?? I found out both fresh but the pork and beef flavor very strong, did Costco realize that?? Also I bought a pack of Bulgogi last week, actually I feel disappointed some of the beef slice just too big, some of the beef just looks like off-cuts and taste less very different than Costco In Japan.

Not Good Value for Money
For the first time today we went to our closest Costco. It was not at all cheap, many products were only a day or 2 out of their use by dates and prices were not cheaper than our local supermarkets. Mostly everything was bulk and not practical for a small family when travel and petrol costs need to be taken into account. Should be a trial before using, even if at a small cost.Have requested my membership be refunded. Some staff members were quite rude too.

Convenient store for bulk purchase and party food
I have been a member since 2016. My family enjoys shopping at Costco due to the convenience of getting different party food. At times, I do buy things in bulk for my company. Most of the time, petrol prices at pump is significantly cheaper than other pumps.

Found Plastic inside the Bread
Went to Costco purchase a regular bread that we usually purchase when we get home i slice the bread and found plastic inside. i brought the bread back to costco and show them the plastic did not even do anything just write something on the peace of paper and told me sorry for that. i ask them what will you do with this kind of issue the person told me could be something on the kitchen he will inform them.
that's it end of the story never heard back from them..
luckily we slice the bread and notice the plastic if not we probably eat the plastic courtesy of costco..
very unhappy with there customer service.

Don‘t buy pork ribs from Costco
I thought I got a great purchase when I bought a pack of Pork Belly Boneless Rindless from Costco The ribs look lean n not much fat. I was disappointed when I opened it. Only the side you can see from the sealed package is lean meat.
So much fat on the other side.
It costed me $23.79 for 1.488 kgs. ie $15.99 /kg.
There are 9 pcs of rib in total. I had to throw away more than half of it.
It ended up costing me $23.79 for about 600g.
The way the meat is packed is deceptive. It makes customers think the meat is lean. Can‘t believe big company like Costco will use this deceptive packaging to make their sales.
Very disappointed!!

Return policy
Bought a compost twin bins Aug 2016. The Bin broke at the rim at 11 months. Called up Costco and we couldn't find our receipt, they checked on their computer and return credits with No Fuss At all. Everything only took a few minutes.

RETURNS
I wholeheartedly disagree with negative opinions of people about the return policy in Costco!!!! NO OTHER RETAILER PROVIDES LIFETIME WARRANTY, for as
Long as you have your membership!!!!!!! My Samsung phone failed after 2 years, and they refunded me the purchase price without ANY problems! Try that with ANYBODY ELSE and they will kick you out of the store!
I love shopping there and I do not need any IT specialists or other experts to tell me about electronics! If a person requires an expert- just search the info on the Google and look at the YouTube!!!!

Its good apart from the rude door staff
I go to Costco once a week to buy mostly food and fuel we really enjoy visiting but I must admit sometimes their door staff can be rude and quite aggressive when they thought or didn't see your member ID properly. But apart from that just keep away from the peak times and your golden.

Terrible Management of Customer Returns
I feel absolutely compelled to review Costco (Moorabbin) now, although I have been a member there for a year. Firstly, the savings are not great at all. I've done detailed comparisons of my groceries from Costco vs Coles, Woolworths, Aldi and there is no savings when you consider weekly specials. They have different products and that's where the interest is. Very occasionally I have seen merchandise at great prices, but you need to do your research and its very much hit and miss. Petrol prices are good, but I swear there is a difference in my f...Read more
uel economy when I use Costco fuel, so I am a bit sus. My huge complaint today, however, is with their returns - their whole system is appalling. I waited 40 minutes whilst only two people were ahead of me. It was singularly being served, the staff member was learning and it took 3 different managers (two Supervisors and one "Guru") to approve her transactions...but they weren't at the desk. She had to phone them to come and wait until they arrived before she could finalised a return. They saw the line of people, never apologised, never suggested the returns staff member serve on another register or save a transaction, etc whilst there was a wait. No call for additional staff assistance. I hate to make this comparison, but the US Costco has a returns policy that is amazing - they will take anything back no questions asked - its their motto, and you might wait a couple of minutes maximum as they move the line along. And, I'm talking every Costco I've been to there. My experience today has put me off Costco Moorabbin for good, I will not be joining again (but I will shop at US Costco as it is awesome).Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
