CSIRO Total Wellbeing Diet is a great program.

The meal plans are clear and easy to follow. I appreciated the swap options as this worked well for me as I was mostly cooking different meals for my family, but tried to use the same ingredients especially the protein for dinner. I really enjoyed all the smoothies for breakfast, and I quickly noted that breakfast was more than I was used to, lunch very similar and then dinner portions less. Initially, I was hungry after dinner sometimes and tried to keep aside a piece of fruit. The recipes suited my lifestyle well and I tried everything once with one exception in 12 weeks (tofu - not a fan).

A Terrific Program

This is absolutely the best program. It helps you focus on eating portion-controlled foods which contribute to good health. No food cravings! It also helps you establish good eating habits ... hopefully for the rest of my life.

Love the program best thing I have done for myself for years - do it

Recipes are great and easy to swap if needed. Even though I though I knew what I should be eating I had no idea how many vegetable I was missing out on ... I have a bowl of veggies sticks ready to eat, if I go to the fridge to find something to munch on - just bad habit - as I don't feel hungry.

Great Program

This program has been great for me as I don’t get hungry and the meals are easy to prepare and I can swap meals if That I don’t like( there’s not many meals I don’t like). My weight loss has been slow but due to feeling so good I will continue. My husband also enjoys the meals. I am starting program 2 and am continuing my weight loss journey and a way of better health.

Great way to get you focussed on your eating

The food on this diet is flexible. You can swap out things that you don’t like for things you do. It is a great way to see where portions and snacking bring you undone.

The protein diet had heaps of yummy recipes that were already in our diets, just with a health twist.

Take back Control

This program is empowering. The food is pretty good and allows for quite a bit of adjustment to help suit your taste. The best thing is being provided with a scientific approach to weight loss that focuses on health and amazing food that keeps you full. Yes it does require one tok be in the right frame of mind but once you start seeing results, there really is no better feeling. It is a pretty easy program to follow. I have not lost all the weight yet (some 20kg) but am half way there).

Excellent program

Easy to follow program. I especially loved being able to swap meals I didn't particularly like. I certainly wasn't hungry and lost weight that has been hard to shift. For the first time, I was able to stick to this way of eating without losing the plot after 3 days. I never felt like I was on a diet. I'm now continuing with Program 2.

Learning to appreciate the value of small regular weight loss

I found some aspects of the programme positive and was starting to achieve small weight losses ..I found the meal plans reasonably easy-to follow regular tracking and weigh in beneficial. But half way through my programme it became difficult to continue because of the coronavirus . I was unable to source many of the items on the menu This is why I have chosen not to continue the programme.

This is a Budget friendly programme with tasty menus and lots of variety. All the meals are Easy and quick to prepare. Applying for the refund was very easy. The exercise component is easy to follow. Weekly emails are very helpful

Eat More to Loss More

As the title to my review indicates, I found that on the TWD eating plan I found that I had to eat more than I was used to eating - this obviously works. Often I felt that I couldn't eat any more for that meal, but persevered and soon found that a balance was reached where I could happily eat my allocation per meal and the up-side of this was that I stopped getting the munchies in-between meals. I simply had enough fuel to carry me through to that next meal. And - I actually started loosing weight. Hooray!

I’ve really enjoyed this eating plan, it took the stress away of thinking “What’s for dinner?”. The program was easy to follow, the food was plentiful & delicious, & I didn’t feel hungry. There was also an option to swap the meal If it wasn’t to your liking, I feel so much better for it.

Hi Bernice, you can cook the meals for the whole family. In my case it was just me and my husband cuz he wanted to eat the same as me. So I went to the website and doubled up the ingredients list for 2 people and there you go.

Is this program suitable for Insulin Dependent Type 1 Diabetic?
I am 56yrd old and I need to lose over 30kgs and am struggling with menopause and high blood pressure too.
For Diabetes I am on Novorapid Insulin Injections 3 times a day, Lantus Insulin at night, Jardiance tab once a day and Metformin once a day.
Avapro HCT for blood pressure
Losec for reflux
I want to lose weight to try to reduce these meds and help my joint aches and lower back/hip issues.
I cannot exercise much as I fell and have 2 bulging discs in my lower back which cause ciatica an MCL tear in my knee and Hip Burcitus.
All the more reason I need to lose weight!!

The program states that it is suitable for Prediabetes and Type 2 diabetes, it’s a program that helps you manage these conditions through diet, exercise and education. I would suggest contact customer service for this program directly to answer all your questions, good luck

The program offers a menu plan/program for pre-diabetes/type 2 diabetes, which is a carbohydrate controlled plan that helps you manage whilst adhering to the program. This is not tested for type 1 diabetes however.

The program is a lower calorie, high protein, low GI eating plan based around food groups and getting a wide variety of foods from the main food groups each day. If following the eating plan and rest of the program, you can still find results even if you are doing little exercise.

Good morning, I have high blood pressure and High cholesterol so is this diet suitable for me?

Hi Madonna - sadly I’m not a Doctor so I can’t answer your question, however I would assume that any healthy eating plan should lower cholesterol and therefore can’t be bad for you. It’s a scientifically constructed diet and is not primarily about watching calories, but more about being conscious of the food groups you’re eating. I lost 12 kilos in 12 weeks. Have a lot more energy and fit into my old clothes, but medically I’m unsure how my health has improved. I can guarantee it has though! If in doubt, I’d check with your Doctor.
