Do we need to buy any specific transformer for this ice cream machine to convert the 220v to 110v to suit the Indian power supply? I've got the exact ice cream machine as a gift from the US.
We use converter 220 to 110volts but unfortunately machine stops after approx. 10 minutes. I think due to motor overheating.. Please
Suggest me what power supply use.

Hi there!
About 6 months ago, I purchased online a Cuisinart ICE-30 icecream machine.
Now, I have just removed the plastic wrapping but there does not seem to be an instruction/recipe book.
(Oops! Did I throw it away with the box when it was delivered? )

I've tried clicking a few instruction buttons but they are not what I want.
So . . .
1. Can you please please please help? by giving me a link for the ASSEMBLY/instructions and recipes.
2. Can I buy another freezer bowl -- I want one being chilled while we're eating the prepared icecream
from the first.

Thanks very much :) Marnie Q

Do we need to buy an extra transformer for this ice cream machine to convert the 220v to 110v to suit the Australian power supply? Does this ice cream machine run on 220v or 110v? I've got the exact ice cream machine as a gift from the US but the power supply and power plugs are such a hassle.

Hi Christyn - I googled the following hope it helps.
www.tortech.com.au/step-down-transformer-australia/usa-step-down-transformer
A Step down Transformer is the ideal solution if you have an appliance designed to run on America's 110/120 volt system but is needed to run here on Australia's 240 volt power. This transformer converts 240 volts down to 110/120 volts to allow your USA appliance to run in Australia.

I'm looking at buying the ic30, there's a few mentions of having to freeze the bowl first - is it possible to buy extra bowls?

you definitely have to freeze the bowl before using it - I just store mine in the freezer, this way it is ready to use whenever I want to make ice-cream ... not sure if you can buy extra bowls ?

Hi everyone it's great to read all the reviews etc just 1 query before I give my new Chrissy present a go, can you make smaller quantities of the recipes?
I really don't need 14 1/2 cups of frozen yoghurt just for me!

smaller quantities should work : halve or thirds of ingredients.. but I wouldn't go any smaller

We have a set of Pyrex glass containers with plastic lids that work brilliantly for storing ice cream in the freezer.
