For a cheaper coffee machine this one is a good model. You do need to grind your coffee separately but considering the price, you would expect that. The attachment allows for single or double shots and the milk frother does a reasonable job. Coffee comes out tasting great. It’s easy to use and the tray is easy enough to clean. The base under the tray is attached to the whole unit so can be a bit harder to clean out spillages, but it’s not impossible. You do need to remember to press the button to stop pouring when your cup is full enough as there is no option to autostop.

I use mugs and they don’t fit unless I remove the drip trays, then they still have to be small mugs. I love that I can use the used coffee grounds on my garden, you can’t with a capsule machine. I don’t like the milk frothed, I like to microwave my milk. very easy to clean, I sometimes have a problem attaching the thingy that holds the coffee, it can be a bit tricky or it might just be me ...in saying all this, I would still buy another one as it’s sooo much cheaper than a capsule machine and the coffee tastes a lot better.

I absolutely love my Delonghi espresso maker and use it everyday. It never skips a beat and makes beautiful coffee. The milk frother is also awesome and easy to use to get the right thickness. The machine itself looks smart on the kitchen bench and is also easy to clean. Highly recommended.

i have had my machine for over 1 year now and have never had an issue with it, i get perfect esspressos everytime, well worth the money, especialy considering how many time i use it, it still keeps its functions at peak level, and the life of the machine is like no other i have had in the past

So easy and intuitive to use. If you know how to make a coffee, you will not have a problem with this machine. There is a tamper built-in to the body, and it comes with everything else you need to make coffee right out of the box. (coffee not included)

Pretty much exactly what you would expect from a coffee machine. The only issue is regular maintenance, which I understand a lot of people might not be very keen on. If not maintained and cleaned often, you may find it easier to buy a pod machine, which is more consistent in quality sans cleaning.

This sleek machine fits well on the bench and is easy to use. I enjoy the two inserts to determine a strong or double espresso. Thismavhine does make a great coffee and I am overall happy with the purchase. For the shape, size and function I am happy for the discounted price I paid. As a small appliance be ready for thw noise level as the pump starts up for the steam to begin.

However, the drip tray is too short on the steam edge and the milk or steam drips under the edge of the machine creating a mess underneath. The steam nozzle has a removal cover which has to been cleaned after each use and seems unnecessary. A better design could have eliminated it.

The crema of it can be better but overall taste is very good. It’s easy to use, just grind coffee and put it in. I’ve personally purchased my own temper because what is on the machine is made of plastic and didnt feel comfortable and safe to use it(flimsy looking)

Cleaning is fairly straight forward, easy to clean

Overall experience is satisfactory and it’s good for someone who like to drink coffee every day

Coffee machine works very well.
Very easy to use with compatible delonghi pods.
Easy to clean & maintain.
Never had a problem with the machine & the taste of the coffee.
Only con would be that the steam valve is low pressure however it’s still only 30-40 seconds to heat up milk.

The Icona makes good coffee but it is very noisy and vibrates so much i had to place non slip mat to stop it, same for cup warmer,vibrates the cups whilst in use. Water container could have been bigger than 1.4 lt and have had issues with leaks which were fixed but are happening again which is disappointing.

Bought this machine last week and got it on Saturday; so far so good, very easy to operate and everything works smoothly;taste is also better than my old DeLonghi Nespresso U Milk Coffee Capsule Machine;
Also bought some illy MEDIUM ROAST pods which is perfect for this machine for my perspective!!

The machine didn't even last 6 months and customer service at delonghi leaves much to desire. The pump gave out with normal use. I'd not recommend this product. The coffee quality was average. Also, use of the machine can be messy especially when it backs up and one needs to remove the puck.

I love this machine and so much enjoy my morning brew. It is so easy to use and the family lines up for their cuppas too. It looks good and doesn't take up heaps of space. Coffee options are also easy to make. Milk frother is a breeze to use and added bonus is the attached temper. This is the best item I have bought for ages. I really could not do without it.

Produces consistently good coffee, good creama when filters are cleaned properly and easy frothed - easy to use and clean. worth the $160 spent! Happy with my purchase. I found their customer service team rude when I have called for help which is a let down for how good the product is.

Coffee tastes great. I love that the drip tray as well as the milk frothing nozzle are removable and easily washed. I find it very simple to use and can have a perfect coffee very quickly. The flat shelf on top is a useful place to keep the milk jug and coffee reservoir and arm when machine is not in use.

We used to use this machine for 3 years.
It makes really good coffee (if you put good mount of coffee) and also can make long black and creamy milk.
We got it from our friends our wedding gift we really loved the color and design so much.
But!!! After using couple of years water leaking..
We spend so much money for fix... and broken again.
Only bad thing of this machine is hard to maintain and fix...

I use this machine every week. Best to use an espresso cup and then transfer the coffee to a larger mug for drinking. The two cup filter makes a strong mug of coffee - I use Lavazza espresso (intense) ground coffee. Personally don't use the milk frother but heat the milk in the microwave separately to get a consistent temp every time. Its better to clean the machine after every use, which is very easy.

This coffee machine is amazing. I've had one for about 3 years now and its still going great. Froths milk pretty well and looks a lot nicer in real life then in the pictures. The whole thing can almost be taken apart for cleaning which is great. I have no complaints.

This is an excellent machine. It heats up quickly and makes great tasting coffee. Milk frother is great although a bit more flexibility added to its design would be an improvement. Overall love thus machine and it looks great. Would purchase again. It saves me a lot of money on buying cappuccinos because I can now make them at home just the way I like them.

Makes great cofffees. We don't use the milk steamer as we have a separate milk frother so can't comment on that. Love that it all comes apart for easy cleaning, looks great on the bench. It's a bit noisy but nothing that bothers us in this house! My only complaint (and it is a source of frustration daily) is that mugs don't fit under. Only small cups fit under. It bugs me, it needs to be 2cm taller realistically. No one can live on small cups of coffee! No one! But great coffee.
