Devastated to find Woollies in Brisbane have just stopped stocking Bush Foods!

published

I love Farmers Company Australian Bush Foods! It is light, not too sweet, and Australian. Periodically I'd try the all the other toasted mueslies, granolas, etc that Woollies stock. I find them all over-sweet and cloying by comparison. to Bush Foods. The recipe did change when Dick Smith handed it over to Farmers Company but luckily those key factors remained. I'm hoping Coles keeps stocking it.

Purchased in March 2022 at Woollies for $5.50.

Don't listen to the haters. This cereal is elite!

published

I'll tell anyone who will listen, there is no better cereal out there. Don't listen to the haters there's plenty of fruit and macadamias inside. I've been eating this cereal for 11 years.
We're lucky this cereal exists.
This cereal stays crunchy, has a great amount of fruit, isn't too sweet, is 100% Australian and 100% delicious.

Purchased in October 2021 at Coles.

Not as good as it used to be..

published

For the most part I really enjoy the cereal, but it is not what it used to be, but generally that is ok. This box I have however is full of what is normally the bottom of the bag crumbs! Where was quality control when that bag was filled?? Disappointed that the quality is suffering under the new owners

Purchased in October 2021.

My favourite cereal

published

I’m a child and one taste of this cereal with some fresh grapes and I was hooked. A healthy alternative and tastes better than every sugary cereal. I don’t even care about eating healthy, I choose this cereal because it tastes elite.

Bad puffed wheat.

published

Since the decision to change the puffed wheat a while back it still has not changed so time again to stop buying it for another period so the company might get the hint again and maybe change it. As for the other ingredients the product is good. Hoping this review might get to someone in the company and eventually get it to 100 percent again.

Definitely a winner in my house.

published

This is great cereal without needing sugar and not being too sweet like most cereals out there today, as well as not getting soggy. And I like blackcurrants better than sultanas in cereal. Support Aussie products.

Purchased in August 2020 at Coles Supermarkets for $5.

I really like this as the bush foods taste amazing and I don't eat carb based cereals and sugar cereals and wheat cereals or oat based ones at all, so this one is the only way I eat cereal, thanks !

How much sugar per serve in Bushfoods Breakfast cereal? Thanks.

9.3 gms from what I can see.

Monica
Monica

Have done some research and find that it is equivalent to approximately three teaspoons of sugar per serve. This of course takes in the fruit content as well. Certainly higher than oats but also more palatable.

WendyV

Thanks Monica..........that helps me balance my sugar intake per day. Meant to have 6 teaspoons per day all up, so better do my sums!
