Great service for lower price!
Same service from other ride shares with lower fare. I might have to stick with didi for now lol almost all my mates uses DiDi too with all discounted rides
Difference in showing price and charging price
This was second time it showed me the price 21.60 $ for a ride from Bankstown to allawah.l and vice verse. But it charged me 30$ instead. If 30$ was shown before I would have gone with bolt ola or Uber. Try to be fair if you want loyal customers. Thank you .
First time use didi but very disappointed
The driver drove away from me and try to change the way far and far away from me then I press cancel. They charge me 9$ cancellation.I’ll never use didi again omg.Uber is better and better!!!

Using promo codes and ride hailing has never been more worth it
Fast driver pickups - longest wait was 5 mins. The drivers are respectful and the app constantly provides notification on safety and ETA. Made me feel assured. Used promo codes and get tons of discounts - I initially used my friend's too.
Our fare ended up being 25% more in the middle of the night without any traffic or delays. How is this possible? Customer service team would not budge so I am leaving this review to warn others.
Drivers taking other trips while asking me to cancel mine
My partner took a DiDi to get to work today. The driver accepted the trip and then proceeded to do another drop after accepting my fare.
I think its rude and when we called the driver he said for me to cancel my trip as he is busy. I don't think it is fair I have to pay for the driver doing the wrong thing. These drivers need to get three strikes if they get three people to cancel their trips as a result of them accepting other fares they should be banned from driving for 48 hours. It's creating a bad name for the company and its frustrating for the rider
Promotion not true
Didi's promotion is 50% off, which is Not true. It's only $10 off. They started with false promotion. Very sad to see this kind of false advertising. Not good at all.
DIDI is hands down the worse service provider that I have experienced (well never got to experience). Don't do it... I have attempted to use both in Perth and Melbourne with the same outcome - total unsatisfied. In Perth my drivers (yes thats plural) kept cancelling and resulted in me waiting for over a half an hour waiting on driver upon drivers until I eventually i just cancelled and hopped in a taxi (but I taught that's just Perth). I complained to DIDI and was given a $10 credit on my account for my time wasted - over half an hour for 10 bu...cks... Disgusting (no repercussions for drivers). Just now I was in Melbourne CBD needing a ride to St. Kilda. First driver cancelled and the second driver arrived for pick up but to my total shock spotted we had luggage and put the window down as he drove past shout in an Indian accent "I'm am sorry I have waited 20 minutes" and drove off... which was a total lie as I waited and seen him pull up... it broke my heart to give this sub standard absolute rubbish service a 1 star as they don't even deserve that. Do yourself a favor an get another service provider... if a driver excepts a fare they should not be aloud to do what they do, and should be fined heavily for doing so... Best advice for governments and local councils is to ban this service and I am drafting up a letter of complaint to my local councilor to shine some like on what is happening...
Multiple "technical" issues
Wanted to drive uber. Review of Uber in separate review.
1-I could setup didi pretty quickly. Most of the instructions and designs are clear and concise, unlike uber.
2- Intuitive design, mostly.
3- Received sticker and referral cards within few days
1- I didnt receive payments for 2 weeks due to tech issues.
2- Navigation keep hanging.
3-Lower income. I drive in Perth city . Average income is $10 per hour.
4- Didi asks me to drive longer for a shorter ride. Eg: Drove 5 km for <5KM_ride, multiple_times. Payment not adjusted accordingly....
1st could you please educate you driver I take DiDi almost everyday to work..
most driver has breath in the morning give them instructions to at least brush their teeth before taking clients specially to work we don’t want to smell bad breath all day.
2nd please tell driver it’s crucial to clean their car so it doesn’t smell like cigarettes butt it’s hard to breath damn sake
Worst support fro Didi
I was stuck in a traffic jam with customer over the weekend in CBD and they kept on sending me follow up jobs and eventually a message that if I reject a job, my account will be suspended.
Secondly there is no easy way to contact customer service. Thirdly their app is the worst of the ones in market. There attitude is so bad as if I am a Chinese slave who they can threaten and get the job done.
Fourth they don't listen by blame the drivers for being dishonest and fraudulent. Oh man I quit. I will work for others specially OLA that's the best
Poor service, Incompetent company
DiDi have taken from my credit card $51.90 for a trip that was not confirmed or booked! We could not get a driver in our area so the search was cancelled after we recieved a notification that “no driver available at this time in you’re area”
The next day I noticed a charged on my bank card..I have been informed by DiDi after I contacted them that they “sometimes” take a “Authorisation hold” even if a trip is not book. I’m still waiting for my refund 5 weeks later! Even after being told it will be refunded...Will never use again! Do not recommend!!!
Poor service Dodgy charges
Very disappointing as I was charged late fee when driver was late himself
Upon checking they refunded it but poor customer service
Rude driver and they charge toll fee on top of the fare
Drivers cancelled 4 times!!!
Arrived at Melbourne airport and ordered a DiDi for the first time. 4 DRIVERS CANCELLED and NO ONE picked me up. Caught a taxi. Never using this app again. Garbage customer service, couldn’t get through to customer support so I called their emergency line and I finally got through. They were not remorseful but kept laughing when I was complaining. TERRIBLE.
I ordered a DiDi to take me to an appointment, I received a txt that he was outside, went out, there was no one in sight, I received a phone call stating the gates to the complex were closed, I tried to explain, I lived in a cul de sac and tried to explain how to get to my place, he just wasn’t interested, he was rude and disrespectful and he was the one that canceled the ride ! Ended up getting a taxi it was there in 2 minutes !
Buyer Beware!! If you leave anything valuable in the car DiDi won't help you - OR POLICE - track the driver who refuses to give it back! You get what u pay for..
Great prices, poor service
Didi's prices are generally cheaper than Uber but the service is rubbish. I've been trying to remove a credit card from their app (it has been cancelled by the bank) for more than 2 months and it won't let me.
Tried it twice - both drivers didnt arrive at pick up
As noted above, tried it twice.
Both times the driver went in the complete wrong direction. Ended up cancelling after 10 minutes with the driver going in the opposite direction with the app saying it will be 6 minutes until pickup the whole time.
Unable to retrieve iphone left in vehicle
We left an iphone in a Didi driver's vehicle. On realising this a friend called the phone, the driver said he had it but we needed to ring him back as he was busy. We then tried to call later but received a message saying the phone was disabled. After much searching I found an email link to customer service who said they would help. They provided the number of the driver. We contacted him and he requested $50 cash to give the phone back. We said this was too much and we would collect it at a mutually convenient place. After repeated calls and m...essages he said that he was 'too busy'. We requested that he drop it off at a police station - no iphone received. No communication from driver and silence from Didi. We have had to make a formal police complaint.
This is a scam
Ordered because it was slightly cheaper than Uber on the quote. The quote is not what they charge, as the trip went on the price rose till it was double the cost of an Uber by the time I got to my destination, was travelling between towns so couldn't just get out and order something else. Even with the first trip discount I paid double the quote of an Uber
