Difference in showing price and charging price

published

This was second time it showed me the price 21.60 $ for a ride from Bankstown to allawah.l and vice verse. But it charged me 30$ instead. If 30$ was shown before I would have gone with bolt ola or Uber. Try to be fair if you want loyal customers. Thank you .

Using promo codes and ride hailing has never been more worth it

published

Fast driver pickups - longest wait was 5 mins. The drivers are respectful and the app constantly provides notification on safety and ETA. Made me feel assured. Used promo codes and get tons of discounts - I initially used my friend's too.

Terrible overcharging

published

Our fare ended up being 25% more in the middle of the night without any traffic or delays. How is this possible? Customer service team would not budge so I am leaving this review to warn others.

Drivers taking other trips while asking me to cancel mine

published

My partner took a DiDi to get to work today. The driver accepted the trip and then proceeded to do another drop after accepting my fare.

I think its rude and when we called the driver he said for me to cancel my trip as he is busy. I don't think it is fair I have to pay for the driver doing the wrong thing. These drivers need to get three strikes if they get three people to cancel their trips as a result of them accepting other fares they should be banned from driving for 48 hours. It's creating a bad name for the company and its frustrating for the rider

Promotion not true

published

Didi's promotion is 50% off, which is Not true. It's only $10 off. They started with false promotion. Very sad to see this kind of false advertising. Not good at all.

Worst support fro Didi

published

I was stuck in a traffic jam with customer over the weekend in CBD and they kept on sending me follow up jobs and eventually a message that if I reject a job, my account will be suspended.

Secondly there is no easy way to contact customer service. Thirdly their app is the worst of the ones in market. There attitude is so bad as if I am a Chinese slave who they can threaten and get the job done.

Fourth they don't listen by blame the drivers for being dishonest and fraudulent. Oh man I quit. I will work for others specially OLA that's the best

Poor service, Incompetent company

published

DiDi have taken from my credit card $51.90 for a trip that was not confirmed or booked! We could not get a driver in our area so the search was cancelled after we recieved a notification that “no driver available at this time in you’re area”
The next day I noticed a charged on my bank card..I have been informed by DiDi after I contacted them that they “sometimes” take a “Authorisation hold” even if a trip is not book. I’m still waiting for my refund 5 weeks later! Even after being told it will be refunded...Will never use again! Do not recommend!!!

Drivers cancelled 4 times!!!

published

Arrived at Melbourne airport and ordered a DiDi for the first time. 4 DRIVERS CANCELLED and NO ONE picked me up. Caught a taxi. Never using this app again. Garbage customer service, couldn’t get through to customer support so I called their emergency line and I finally got through. They were not remorseful but kept laughing when I was complaining. TERRIBLE.

Worst ever

published

I ordered a DiDi to take me to an appointment, I received a txt that he was outside, went out, there was no one in sight, I received a phone call stating the gates to the complex were closed, I tried to explain, I lived in a cul de sac and tried to explain how to get to my place, he just wasn’t interested, he was rude and disrespectful and he was the one that canceled the ride ! Ended up getting a taxi it was there in 2 minutes !

Great prices, poor service

published

Didi's prices are generally cheaper than Uber but the service is rubbish. I've been trying to remove a credit card from their app (it has been cancelled by the bank) for more than 2 months and it won't let me.

Tried it twice - both drivers didnt arrive at pick up

published

As noted above, tried it twice.

Both times the driver went in the complete wrong direction. Ended up cancelling after 10 minutes with the driver going in the opposite direction with the app saying it will be 6 minutes until pickup the whole time.

This is a scam

published

Ordered because it was slightly cheaper than Uber on the quote. The quote is not what they charge, as the trip went on the price rose till it was double the cost of an Uber by the time I got to my destination, was travelling between towns so couldn't just get out and order something else. Even with the first trip discount I paid double the quote of an Uber
